This is a difficult resort for me to review. The location is directly on the beach, which is a plus. However, it is smack in the middle of residential condos, with nothing else easily accessible (restaurants, a pharmacy, coffee shops, etc),.The property itself is tired. There is a lot of common area, which seems to be wasted space. The rooms are a huge disappointment, especially for the price that we paid. They are look like they haven't been updated in over 20 years! We stayed in an ocean fron... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel before, and was always very pleased with the level of service received, but my recent stay was simply over the top. I was traveling alone and with a recently acquired disability (and therefore a bit anxious about how I would fare), and from the bellman who greeted me upon arrival, to the accommodating front desk (who were able to find me a room that minimized the amount of walking I'd have to do), to the very cheerful room service staff- who by the end of my stay seem... The service is excellent, the hotel is very well maintained, with wonderful flowers. The spa is amazing and the food is very good, but my room was little, and i find it absurd to charge separately for breakfast.

After staying at several Four Season resorts over the past year, this resort and staff were even better than what was expected. However, the rooms are in need of an update. At the conclusion of my stay, I expressed my opinion of the room on their survey. I was very excited to hear that they are planning to remodel the rooms soon! I look forward to staying again once they have updated the guest rooms!

This is a lovely fairly small hotel with excellent service. It is a bit tired but is going to be completely renovated this summer. The one main problem is the food in the two main restaurants - average to almost unedible.

I have severe food allergies, even though I was there with a group for a conference, the hotel staff went out of there way to ensure that I was cared for and had no issues. They were constantly on top of things and I was comfortable that they took this seriously and I was in good hands. Besides that, in general, the staff was professional, attentive, thorough and just plain pleasant.

Spend the NYE with my husband and enjoyed very much. So muche better than The Breakers! The room is spacious, confort and quiet. Breakfast is delicious. They have a house car to drive you nearby, since the city was crowded we left aour car at the hotel and used ir a lot to save us from parking. Already planning my next visit with my 2-year-old!

I've stayed in many FS properties globally and this one has to be one of the best for service and how much the staff really do seem to care. They just hire the right people. I have stayed there previously but this time i was actually there when Hurricane Matthew was approaching and we had to be evacuated. (I was so sad to leave this hotel! But the island was shutting down.) They were calm and helpful -- the most polite evacuation ever ;) -- and escorted us to an airport hotel where they secured ... Read more

The hotel is really warn out, particularly the rooms, and is below the typical Four Seasons hotels' standards - both in accommodations and in service. But this is not why I am writing the review. I had my diamond eternity band stolen from my room during a room switch. Of course, they always say you need to lock your valuables, but I really did not expect one would have to do this at a Four Seasons! Apparently this is not the first time something disappeared at this hotel. We were told by the st... Read more

The service lived up to the standard expected from a Four Seasons and I thought the food in the restaurant was equally good. There is a nice pool and beach area with plenty of loungers. The turn down service was a nice touch also, my only criticism was the crazily priced bottles of water in the rooms.
