Stayed for 2 weeks and loved the property. Beach, pool and grounds are well kept. Unit was well maintained but lacked a few basic cooking utensils that would have made it easier to eat in. Staff did a great job of addressing any concerns.

We arrived from key west tired, hungover and hungry so we booked the ocean point suites and we weren't disappointed. They upgraded us to a two bedroom island view room, the suites are spacious, subtle and well equipped for a long stay. They have a large pool and a shallowish pebble beach great for letting the kids explore. There is a large amount of wildlife around this area and I seen my first iguana :) Would love to have stayed longer!

We only stayed for one night on a tour of Florida in May but were impressed with the facilities. The apartment was both beautiful and huge and would be brilliant for a week with some self catering if required as it had everything - you could actually live there. Everything was spotless on arrival with a very high standard of fittings. Only negatives is that it is not really in walking distance of any restaurants or bars but of course there are a lot a short drive away. The one thing that wa... Read more

The Ocean Pointe Suites exceeded my expectations. The condo was very nicely furnished, the pool area was large enough for everyone, and the location was central to restaurants, Captain Slate's Scuba Adventures (AWESOME DIVES!), and Divers' Direct. I'll definitely stay at Ocean Pointe Suites again...and again...and again.

Quiet and relaxing. Needs updating but very clean. Pool is fantastic! The balcony is very tiny but the views from there were great. Within 5 miles of John Pennekamp state park to enjoy snorkeling etc.

My husband and I were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary and could not have spent it in a more relaxing and beautiful location. What made it even more special was the recognition at check-in where the front desk agent greeted us with a smile and a Happy Anniversary. Later during the weekend the staff sent us a bottle of champagne. We were 'WOW"! This is service. And to end our stay, I was complimented by the room attendant on what I was wearing. Loved the location of the property. Loved that there was a beach that my toddler enjoyed and loved that there was a DJ at the pool! Music was a nice addition. However, my unit was super outdated and the owner should really invest some money in updating the unit since the furniture is from the 80's. Other than that it's clean and would stay here again but in a different unit.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and saved a ton of money by simply enjoying the amazing sites and amenities this establishment offers. We were right in front of the marina and really enjoyed visiting the pool, the private beach(don't forget your water shoes), the entire property, the dock and little pier they have. It's full of sites to see, including lots of lizards and iguanas on the trails. The wings are amazing!!!!! Sam at the front desk was amazing and gave us some amazing tips for our sta... Read more

We arrived on Saturday the 2nd and found the grounds to be inviting. A busy pool with drinks being served looked good. We found the check in process to be easy. Our room was a 2 bedroom suite. Building 4. Room 4411 to be exact. It had a great view. This room could use some updating. The balconies are very small and the railing is dangerous for small children. Fortunately (or unfortunately if you're not very strong), our sliding glass doors were very difficult to open, so our children wer... Read more

Great view! Not so great staff. Stayed at this hotel Friday to Saturday. Unfortunately, left an iwatch charger in the room when we checked out at about 2:30. At about four, when we realized that we had left the charger called the front desk. We then got the run around. My husband was teas feted to lost and found which want working because they do not answer the phone on weekends. At about the fourth call yo front desk, they agreed to take down our number and call us back. At 8:00 p.m. When we sh... Read more

The hotel room was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The cafe has good food and is conveniently located next to a mini beach where you can take kayaks and paddle boards out into the bay. However, if you're not up for getting sandy, the pool is pretty big and there's a small bar open during the day so you can stay hydrated. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to anyone taking a trip down to Tavenier!

The hotel was really fun for the Fourth of July. Very kid friendly and clean. The room was huge, the two bedrooms and the pullout couch was great for sleeping. Big bathrooms too, with stand up showers. The pool was always kept clean and the staff was amazing. The bathrooms are nice too I didn't feel disgusted when I went into them at the pool. The bartender at the pool also awesome. After the pool discovered that by the lobby there is a really cool little beach with kayaking and paddle boarding.... Read more

Though ordered 8 months ago, room was not prepared for the 5 of us, so we had to pick up linen and towels ourselves. Room was not super clean but bearable, however they placed us all the way in the back, so our ocean view was a merely distant view of ocean line across a small Forrest - not what we expected from the pictures and a very early reservation. And just for reference, don't expect too much of the beach - it's not that big! More or less any other place you get free wifi, even in restaura... Read more

Convenient to snorkeling, scuba diving, restaurants. Place is old but had some updating. Smells very strong from cleaning supplies. Bed skirt was filthy. Walls need to be painted. No maid service. Called for towels, was told they were all out until following day. Will not stay here again.

So, first off... this is a condo organization. Each room is owned by an outside individual. The "front desk" just gives you the keys and maybe some extra towels if you need them. Our experience with our room was so-so. We booked through a third party site with no issues. The room was a two bed, two bath. Each room is "water-view" which only means that each rooms' balcony faces towards the water. Will you be able to see water? Depends on which building or floor you are on. There is a large mangro... We stayed at Ocean Pointe Suites at the last minute. We booked through a 3rd party site and the pictures online looked nice and well kept. The room we were given was pretty outdated. Carpet was that thin, motel carpeting and very dirty. The room needed painting and modern furniture. It was NOTHING like the photos online. They clearly have a show room or something they use for photos. We did have an ocean view but the balcony could only comfortably fit one person at a time. It needs a nicer touc... Read more

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo that had two full bathrooms, a living area and a full kitchen, fridge, stove, microwave, stove and washer/dryer. One bedroom had twin beds the other was a master suite with a small balcony (Think cruise ship type narrow with one chair). It was clean, well maintained and had the basics. NOTE: WiFi is NOT free so bring your own myFi since the cost is $36/week/device. The apartment was located in the building 1 complex (there are four complexes) - a short walk to th... Read more

I've stayed at Ocean Pointe Suites a few times and love it. Good clean units with one or two bed rooms and full kitchen. Nice clean pool, clean units and nice people. My trip in June was to get married and honeymoon in the Keys, LOVED IT! Very nice to explore the Keys from or just hang out on their beach.

I thought this place was very nice. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We have five in the family, so sometimes it's hard to find a two bedroom, two bathroom at an affordable price. I read some negative reviews, I really don't know what they are talking about. I guess if you just stay at the resort it would be boring. We stayed out all day, so all we needed was a place to shower and sleep. The beach area is small and rocky. So if you're looking for soft white sand it's not here. But the po... Read more

Ocean was quaint and homely for our stay in the Keys. I came with family and we stayed over the weekend. The kids loved the little beach and found some place mates. There were even spots to do some fishing on their Jetty. Loved that they served drinks to you on the beach! They even had a dj on the beach for a few hours which was cool! Breakfast is cute too and note to expensive.

Building 5, near the pool, great location in an upgraded condo...excellent!! Registration desk needs a bit of retraining for efficiency in the afternoon. Pool towels were provided...but had to figure that out for ourselves. No book in the room to give rules, guidance, local places. No housekeeping during our stay...had to call for towels, trash bags, where to dump trash. For the price, a daily refresh of towels and trash would be nice. Upgraded restaurant and pool...great!! We picked this condo for its location just south of Key Largo and the rocky jetty which typically provides more fish to see snorkeling. The beach was not very nice and the sand was more like ground rock and not deep enough to sink your toes into. The area near the beach was really shallow and full of sea grass making snorkeling less than perfect and swimming little fun. We did see several species of fish out by the buoys and near the gazebo, but snorkeling was difficult due to the shallow wat... Read more

We stayed here for about a week, and it was a good experience. It was clean and comfortable, good security, nice views, and fairly well maintained. The bathrooms could use a little updating by patching holes in the walls and ceilings. It was not recently remodeled as I was told when I booked the condo. I would guess that it was about 5-6 years ago, but it was still nice. The only other problems were that the water pressure was very low and it was not stocked well with paper towels nor toilet pa... My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon, to no fault to anyone it just happened to the coldest it had been in the keys in years so I don't think it got above 70-75 but it was better than the march weather in Boston. We arrived very late around 1am. Check in was no issue as it was so late. The lobby was nice and the gentleman that checked us in was very polite. Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in 'Bonefish'. Apartment was clean and spacious and had all the amenities required for a short break. Pool was exceptional and small beach was good fun. Ideally situated in Key Largo to drive out and do typical Keys activities such as snorkelling and eating lots of sea food!
