Rooms are spacious with high ceilings and sitting room separate from bedroom. Wonderful service provided by the hotel staff including the valet, front desk attendant, and Castile restaurant employees. Dinner at Castile -- roasted beet and arugula salad appetizer and duck confit with white bean cassoulet entrée. Delicious. Two night stay for business meetings. Did not visit the rooftop bar.

I was so excited that we were getting a Kimpton hotel in the area since I have enjoyed their service and hotels in the past. This place is not a real Kimpton Hotel - at least their staff has never been to Kimpton training. Living only 15 minutes from the hotel we thought it would be a romantic way to spend a night in an area of our hometown we don't get to much because of traffic. We arrived at 2 p.m. to find that the hotel is NOT on the beach but across Gulf Blvd. I was under the impression... Read more

We love Kimptons...the service was so wonderful...The front desk staff Kim (exceptional!) and Brejon went above and beyond to make our stay special. Doug, Rich and Lucy were helpful in many ways to give suggestions for restaurants, set us up at the pool and were as friendly as can be. Loved this hotel and it was not overpriced at all. Rooftop bar at sunset is a MUST!! Loved the fruited water, lemonade tea and coffee in the lobby!

Pulled up my car to the Valet parking and first met Rich. Super Nice guy chock full of information to make you stay perfect. You'll know him by the NY Accent. Can't do enough to help you. Daily Happy Hour on the Rooftop Bar/Lounge. Ask for Robby at the Bar. Tell him Steve the Kite Guy sent you.

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. From Rich the bellhop to Sydney at Castile the entire team was amazing. On top of the that the hotel was stunning and our room was gorgeous. With beautiful views of the bay and walking distance to the beach. Even Michael who sets up your lounge chairs on the beach was helpful and set the standard for hospitality. We can't wait to come back and visit!

We went there with our two dogs. This place is very dog friendly. All the staff are super friendly. There is a great restaurant onsite as well, and a cool rooftop bar. My only issue was the access to the beach. It is through a beach bar about a block away. So have to rely on them for any kind of beach service. They do have a deal with the hotel, so getting beach chairs and umbrellas are easy.

This classy hotel is in a perfect location in St. Pete Beach. Easy to access, along the inlet (beach is across the street), and close to restaurants. From the outside, it looks like a perfectly maintained gem, with a luxurious curb appeal. Parking is valet only, and the staff is very welcoming upon pulling in. Lobby is rather large with plenty of seating at wine hour. Room was awesome! Very clean and stylish (although the half nude woman art was a little odd), and plenty of space to spread out... Read more

I have to say I am very impressed at the quality of service that me and my Husband received at Zamora. The rooftop bar has an excellent view of downtown St Pete and the Gulf Of Mexico. The pool was perfect. The food was 5 star and the Bartender Nick at the inside bar made me adelicious Hemmingway Daiquiri and was very courteous and attentive even though he looked extremely busy with a large group in the lounge. And all the other staff was Excellent Excellent Excellent. 5stars for sure (:

I normally don't stay out at the Beach, but Tampa hotels were booked solid due to a convention and the closest room I could get was Zamora. While initially annoyed, it turned out to be a great turn of events for me. I try to avoid St Pete beach because of the tourists and rather run down hotels, but this was very nice. Traveled to Zamora for work and this was my first time at this Kimpton property. One thing I can say is that the hotel definitely has that iconic Kimpton look. My King Suite was very spacious and i loved the addition of the living room area to entertain guest. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the ocean and you can really enjoy a nice sunset while up there. The bed is definitely one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. I was so excited to learn that a Kimpton was coming to SPB. I won't belabor the points made by other reviewers. I agree with them--apathetic front desk, frazzled valet, small pool and over priced, mediocre food. What really disappointed me was this hotel just doesn't feel like a Kimpton. First of all, this hotel is beautiful, it really is. Extremely stylish, very comfortable, great facilities, beautiful, it's really a very, very nice hotel. The problem I had were with the $20 resort fee, and $20 valet fee (both not including tax) which made this property very expensive, before you've even seen the massively overpriced food! Great location in St Pete Beach. Spectacular rooftop bar and lounge with incredible 360 degree views of the area. Walk to the beach. Hottest happy hour in town. Luxurious but reasonably priced hotel. Great place to stay

Had a great stay at the Zamora over Labor Day weekend. This happened to be the weekend that the Hurricane Hermine came to town. The staff was fabulous! Frankie at the front desk and Mike took great care of us! We were a little late for breakfast one morning, and the Castille restaurant staff took care of us anyway and cooked us the most fabulous breakfast! Despite the weather, and not being able to use the pool, we had a great weekend, and will definitely be back!

First of all..... I received the best room upgrade! Absolutely beautiful! The wine hour is amazing! Complimentary wine hour?! That never happens! So I have to say that was amazing. The other best part is that they are pet friendly! I would recommend this hotel to everyone!! All of the staff was absolutely amazing as well!

I recently attended a wedding here with my girlfriend, the Maid of Honor in the wedding. The entire staff was friendly from check-in to check out, and everything in between. We arrived prior to our early check-in time, but they found us an available room and allowed us to check in anyway. The building itself was originally designed to be for condos, but it was bought out and is now a hotel. Each room is like a half of an apartment, but is spaciously decorated and provides comfort and luxury to ... Read more

We decided to stay only one night to try it out - should have definitely stayed longer! You get the impression that you are somewhere in Europe, not in St Pete Beach. The common areas are all beautiful and very welcoming. It's definitely a hotel for the young and in-the-know. Even though we are an older couple, we really didn't feel out of place. The staff behind the check-in counter were excellent and went out of their way to help. My husband left his trousers and shirt behind when we ch... Read more

We visited St. Pete in October for a wedding. Others have already noted the 3 main concerns that deprive that 5th star: foul smell in the pool area, resort and valet fees, and poor lighting in the bathroom. Apart from that, we had a wonderful stay. Burt at the front desk was especially accommodating of our family's special needs, and the friendly beach attendant remembered our names after meeting us once. A note for families with young children: the bathroom has no bathtub, so you'll either be d... Read more

Our room was very spacious and well finished. However there were dirty linens out side our door on the floor for our entire 2 night stay. Also some of the bathroom lights were burned out and not replaced. Service did not live up to the reviews and high ratings.

The hotel is very pleasant and stylish, very much boutique hotel in style. It is just across the road from a beautiful stretch of beach, and it has a lovely pool area of its own surrounded by cabanas and comfortable chairs. We found the restaurant very good (although they said they are changing/upgrading the menu soon.) it was very quiet when we stayed there for several days midweek, but I imagine it is much busier and humming with three different bars on weekends. We recommend venturing out ar... Read more

Bathroom lighting was inadequate. Suite was lovely, comfortable and secure. Staff was accommodating and courteous. Hotel was under repairs due to a recent storm, but no inconvenience to their guests. Rooftop terraces were beautiful.

As Kimpton Karma members, we were upgraded to the water view king suite on the 4th floor. There was also a pullout sofa and second tv. The balcony had a nice view of the intracoastal waterway and overlooked the pool area. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. After we checked out, we spent some time down at the pool area. Comfortable seating areas to relax and read. Rich was very nice and helpful. Although the poolside dining area is only staffed on the weekends, there is a phone av... Read more

The entire staff engaged us in a very memorable stay to celebrate my husband's surprise birthday trip. From our check in with Keisha and Nikka who were friendly and fun to the insightful concierge, Rich who treated us like family! Kyle served our dinner on the deck with professional expertise and anticipated our every need. When we checked out, Brejon was incredibly gracious and authentic. In our spectacular room we found a birthday card signed by staff and a piece of tiramisu! So yummy and so ... Read more

Our Daughter booked us a room at the Hotel Zamora for my birthday and it was Awesome ! The rooms are spacious and a view of the canal from our balcony ! The beach is across the street or Pass-a-Grille beach a short walk ! Definetly the place to relax ! We were greeted by a very friendly staff ! Bert, Lisa and John were great hosts ! We also ate at the Hotel Zamoras' restaurant, Castile, which was very impressive ! I'll review it seperately under restaurants. We will be back !

A really great getaway experience. Did a quick overnight but well worth it. The welcome and care by brejon was well worth it. As an inner circle I value team who goes out of their way. The room was really great with a dual shower. Rooftop 360 is fantastic. The view of the ocean during the day is worth it just for that. Add the amazing team of Sarah and Robby to make your drink. Sarah nailed the sarerac..her play on sazerac with chartreuse. Castile was really good although you have to pay well... Read more

Yes, I should have read the fine print at the bottom of the reservation confirmation about the $20/day (+tax) "resort fee" but I also was not told that there is no self parking (so add another $20/day (+tax) for parking, plus tips of course to the valet parkers. But this is just a hotel, not a resort for pete's sake. Asking what the "resort fee" covers I was told "w-fi, the bottles of Fiji water in the room, bicycles, and kayaks" - none of which we used. I might as well have talked to a post as ... Read more

Helpful friendly staff with lovely rooms(huge comfortable beds!). We were on the 3rd floor and there was noise from the floor above about 3am each morning. I'm not sure there were bedrooms....? It sounded like chairs being scraped across a tiled floor. The rooftop bar had fabulous views-especially at sunset! Pool area very comfy. Close enough to the beach too

Picked this restaurant because of its Spanish influence with small plates and ciccherones as advertised in a publication that was current. Well none of that was available. They changed chefs and this one uses a strong French influence as he is French. The only good thing about our experience there was our waiter, Dennis, and their calamari. Dennis did what he could to explain their transition, and the calamari was the best we've had in a long time. Done perfectly and very tender. Might be be... Read more

Stayed with a friend for 2 nights on 3rd floor .Hptel staff very helpful and friendly. Room was nice with comfortable beds and nice view of intracoastal waterway. Shower ( no bath) was very poor with old fittings and very poor water flow. A real disappointment considering what powerful showers exist these days! Hotel does appear to have many maintenance issues at the moment with lots of drywall removed and ducting on show. There was a leak in the garage with water cascading in. There was work b... Read more

The hotel has a great location, close to the beach and several nice places within walking distance. Hotel was under construction due to Hurricane Damage. Water flow in the shower was lighter than I generally like. It was hard to rinse out the shampoo from my hair. Front desk folks were great! I like the wine reception - free wine and appetizers. Beach access. We loved watching the sunset from the rooftop bar. Poor area and bar was nice. Sun goes behind the building a bit early. Beds we... Read more
