My boyfriend and I stayed here last week its a nice hotel with a homey feel to it the staff is friendly and helpful they gave us a bunch of great ideas for things to do in the area and places to eat. I would also like to point out all of the rooms have great views of the water and a heated pool. We will defiantly be visiting this hotel again next time we are in the area.

The Bayside Inn is an old property, and the upkeep on it has been ok, but not great. That said, the price is reasonable and the accommodations are adequate. The bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms are old, but in some way, give you the "old Florida" feel. When booking the room, which I landed on Priceline, I was not aware that they only do room service once every 3 days. Not a big deal, but you may need to go down to the desk to get new towels. The desk doesn't open until 9am. I would stay h... Read more

We stayed a week for spring break with our 6 year old in a single room with a queen size bed. The room was a bit small, but if we had reserved earlier we could have gotten one of the larger rooms. The beach is across the street but an easy walk. We enjoyed several restaurants, a surf shop and an ice cream shop all within walking distance. We only put on 107 miles the entire week, and that included the drive from and to the airport. We did take a dolphin tour, which was completely worth the... Read more

The room could have been nice, but it wasn't cleaned a single time during our 5 day stay, not even clean towels. When we walked in there was water on the floor all around the refrigerator. No response from the front desk for two days.... Front office controls the AC and it was off for our entire visit - HOT AND MUGGY! Also, there was not a mirror anywhere in our room. The walk to the beach was across a 5 lane very busy road.

This is an older motel and they are in the process of upgrading the rooms. While the room was not made up each day, I was able to get any supplies or towels when I needed them. You reach the beach by crossing the street and taking the walkway between hotels. There is a paved walkway that parallels the beach, and the beach is very wide and beautiful in this area.

Ok. I have a lot to say so I'll start with the positive. Tammy at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. She is very accommodating and just a joy. Also the dock out back is very convenient and the grounds out back are really nice. Now for the not so nice. For 25 rooms there are 21 small parking spots and one handicap. Sure if this place isn't busy that isn't an issue at all. Also for 25 rooms you would think housekeeping would be daily. It's not. There is a $25 charge of you want your room ... Read more

Made last minute reservations @ this hotel & neglected 2 include my ph # upon booking. Didn't realize the ofc closed @ 5. Arrived @ 6 to find Tammy (ofc clerk) waiting for me with a smile & receipt & room key! So 5 stars on svc. Rooms nicely appointed include refer, pans, dishes, coffee pot, coffee, etc. Bed a wee bit "used" ... Mattress could use an update. Comfortable lounge chair. Small bathroom but w/gr8 hot water ... adequate pressure. Parking is a breeze. Special treat watching the dozens ... Read more

Stayed here with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Yes parking can be tight but they are very casual about wear you park as well, you'll figure it out. Walking distance to beach and bonus (Waffle House :-)). My wife used the pool while I golfed and enjoyed that as well. We were able to get a nice breeze through the room at night and liked that. Area seemed safe and we walked to dinner and shopping as well. Staff is great and very helpful. Rooms are not large but comfortable, bottom l... Read more
