"This is a great value for families with children ages 0-12 or couples. Not enough for older kids to do. Nice to have a kitchen/grill to cook meals. Master bedroom was very comfortable but small. It was fairly quiet and peaceful. The beach/sand volleyball area is beautiful and peaceful but this is NOT a swimming/walking beach. There are large rocks between the sand and water. Beautiful views. Shuttle service was nice....driver's were very helpful but service is limited to three mile radius. After that it is $10 each way to the grocery store, mall, or most restaurants. Highly recommend renting a car. The location is close to many great restaurants or a half hour drive to Clearwater Beach which has great parking and gorgeous white sand beaches. You can walk to or take free shuttle to 2-3 restaurants or public beach. The public beach allows swimming but was disgusting. Most staff had very little knowledge of the area and were very unhelpful and seemed quiet busy. Evening and night staff seemed stressed and bothered by questions. They could not answer any of my basic questions about the restaurant across the street, the public beach, had no idea any restaurant recommendations, didn't know where the mall was or what shops they had, didn't know where we could watch Final Four game, etc. The day staff was much more helpful. We did not get fresh towels for two days despite several promises to get them to us. There were very limited dishes, towels, games so be sure to bring your own stuff if you need it. They had the basic sheets, pillows, dishes for four and a saucepan and skillet, toaster. Overall great deal for budget lodging but not many extras."
