Worst place ever. Went to a concert at the TPA fairgrounds and thought this would be a convenience place to stay. Have never seen such a disgusting hotel room in my life! Rusty, pitted fixtures, corroded metal lights etc. Mold growing between window panes. When we opened the door there was this disgusting floral smell that almost knocked us over which had to be covering up something else. Holes along the baseboard in the bedroom and bathroom area. We didn't even want to touch anything. L... Read more

This hotel is the dirtiest and most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. My husband and I booked 2 nights here and on the first night, we woke up in the middle of the night to find a roach crawling in the bathroom and another one on the ceiling. We reported this to the front desk employee, who couldn't care less. The second night was worse...we found several roaches crawling on the bathroom floor and all over the walls. We again reported to the front desk. The employee did offer us a new ... Read more

Our road trip was 3 weeks long, so we stayed in a LOT of different lodgings. Unfortunately, this Red Roof Inn was the most disappointing. Red Roof has a standard, kind of spartan, room design, and that is fine. It's easier to keep clean when there's not much in a room, and it WAS a clean and tidy room... except for this: the air conditioning condensation was dribbling out of the unit and across the bare floor to the rug. It collected under the rug, which was acting as a sponge. And it didn't jus... Read more

After driving 1100+ miles heading to Key West we were just looking for a decent room. Well, I did sleep well but I'd never stay here again. Not very clean, paint peeling off the vents. Just not a well maintained facility. No continental breakfast, but just as well as based upon the cleanliness of the room, I wouldn't be in any rush to eat there.

Stayed in Room 152. Room was filthy, mold in the bathroom. cobwebs in the ceiling. air conditions dusty. It was so filthy wonder if the health department would close this place. busy weekend and there were no other options I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I contacted the corporate offices and I received no reply I've attached the pictures

This hotel was perfect for a concert we attended at the fairgrounds. This isn't a luxury hotel by any means, but it was clean and comfortable and seemed fairly updated. It was about a 15 minute walk to the amphitheater at the fairgrounds (you do have to cross a busy road, but it wasn't a problem). There is a sports bar and gas station right next door which was convenient for food, drinks, and gas. Would definitely stay again if attending another event at the fairgrounds.

We were directed to this location by Red Roof's customer relations after a living nightmare at the Red Roof Brandon location (see my review and run away from that place!). We had driven all night and paid for a room only to check-in to filth at our original hotel. It was nearly seven in the morning and we had no place to go. This location was MORE THAN ACCOMMODATING! I cannot say enough! Olga was not only helpful and friendly, but she was so understanding. It only took us about ten minutes to d... Read more

I loved the Red Roof Inn since it is so convenient to walk across the street for a concert and the Wing House is so close. Unfortunately, this past experience has left me thinking I need to find a new hotel. I booked the reservation for a party of three. I guess they only want two people taking showers because there weren't enough towels for all three of us. The final straw, we arrived home my husband realized he left his hat in the room. Not a big deal to most but to us it is. My husband purcha... Read more

Nice for the price... But would suggest someplace else for family... Kinda sketchy. The price also attracts a lot of Casino players and workers so wouldn't be fun for family. But just for sleeping it was good.

Let me say ... I avoid Tampa as much as possible. One of my least favorite cities. But I wanted to attend a Hillary Clinton event at the Fairgrounds and this motel appeared to be right at junction of I-74 and I-4. It was right at that point so I didn't have to go into Tampa downtown AT ALL. I arrived in just enough time to change clothes, run to the event. After the event this place had a super comfy bed and I slept like the dead. Right at the interstates but SUPER QUIET. There is a w... Read more

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn with a few friends. We were in town to attend a concert directly across the street. While the hotel was quite busy with guests, they were very accommodating and welcoming! They made our stay wonderful and we will be sure to return in the future. If there were any complaint to be made, it would be the rooms are a little small but it wasn't an issue at all. The front desk and maids were very nice and made us feel right at home!
