Worst place ever. Went to a concert at the TPA fairgrounds and thought this would be a convenience place to stay. Have never seen such a disgusting hotel room in my life! Rusty, pitted fixtures, corroded metal lights etc. Mold growing between window panes. When we opened the door there was this disgusting floral smell that almost knocked us over which had to be covering up something else. Holes along the baseboard in the bedroom and bathroom area. We didn't even want to touch anything. L... Read more

This hotel is the dirtiest and most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed in. My husband and I booked 2 nights here and on the first night, we woke up in the middle of the night to find a roach crawling in the bathroom and another one on the ceiling. We reported this to the front desk employee, who couldn't care less. The second night was worse...we found several roaches crawling on the bathroom floor and all over the walls. We again reported to the front desk. The employee did offer us a new ... Read more

Our road trip was 3 weeks long, so we stayed in a LOT of different lodgings. Unfortunately, this Red Roof Inn was the most disappointing. Red Roof has a standard, kind of spartan, room design, and that is fine. It's easier to keep clean when there's not much in a room, and it WAS a clean and tidy room... except for this: the air conditioning condensation was dribbling out of the unit and across the bare floor to the rug. It collected under the rug, which was acting as a sponge. And it didn't jus... Read more

Front desk very nice and helpful. Walk into my room check the bathtub 3 baby cockroachs 1 in the tub 2 on the wall, spider all over the ceiling, room smell gross, cleaning personal left blanket right by the stairs. Next smoking weed ,you can smell it all over the parking lot

After driving 1100+ miles heading to Key West we were just looking for a decent room. Well, I did sleep well but I'd never stay here again. Not very clean, paint peeling off the vents. Just not a well maintained facility. No continental breakfast, but just as well as based upon the cleanliness of the room, I wouldn't be in any rush to eat there.

Stayed in Room 152. Room was filthy, mold in the bathroom. cobwebs in the ceiling. air conditions dusty. It was so filthy wonder if the health department would close this place. busy weekend and there were no other options I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I contacted the corporate offices and I received no reply I've attached the pictures

This hotel was perfect for a concert we attended at the fairgrounds. This isn't a luxury hotel by any means, but it was clean and comfortable and seemed fairly updated. It was about a 15 minute walk to the amphitheater at the fairgrounds (you do have to cross a busy road, but it wasn't a problem). There is a sports bar and gas station right next door which was convenient for food, drinks, and gas. Would definitely stay again if attending another event at the fairgrounds.

We were directed to this location by Red Roof's customer relations after a living nightmare at the Red Roof Brandon location (see my review and run away from that place!). We had driven all night and paid for a room only to check-in to filth at our original hotel. It was nearly seven in the morning and we had no place to go. This location was MORE THAN ACCOMMODATING! I cannot say enough! Olga was not only helpful and friendly, but she was so understanding. It only took us about ten minutes to d... Read more

I loved the Red Roof Inn since it is so convenient to walk across the street for a concert and the Wing House is so close. Unfortunately, this past experience has left me thinking I need to find a new hotel. I booked the reservation for a party of three. I guess they only want two people taking showers because there weren't enough towels for all three of us. The final straw, we arrived home my husband realized he left his hat in the room. Not a big deal to most but to us it is. My husband purcha... Read more

Nice for the price... But would suggest someplace else for family... Kinda sketchy. The price also attracts a lot of Casino players and workers so wouldn't be fun for family. But just for sleeping it was good.

Let me say ... I avoid Tampa as much as possible. One of my least favorite cities. But I wanted to attend a Hillary Clinton event at the Fairgrounds and this motel appeared to be right at junction of I-74 and I-4. It was right at that point so I didn't have to go into Tampa downtown AT ALL. I arrived in just enough time to change clothes, run to the event. After the event this place had a super comfy bed and I slept like the dead. Right at the interstates but SUPER QUIET. There is a w... Read more

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn with a few friends. We were in town to attend a concert directly across the street. While the hotel was quite busy with guests, they were very accommodating and welcoming! They made our stay wonderful and we will be sure to return in the future. If there were any complaint to be made, it would be the rooms are a little small but it wasn't an issue at all. The front desk and maids were very nice and made us feel right at home!

The property is located just across the street form the Fairgrounds concert venue. Easy walk to shows and no parking hassles. The room smelled like mold and mildew. Very sketchy guests in adjoining rooms. The room was old in poor shape and smelly. This is very basic and seemed somewhat unsafe. There are 2 other nicer chain hotels in the same block., pay more stay there.

This hotel is infested with roaches. We had to leave all our luggage in the car because we were afraid to carry home roaches. It was a late arrival and we didn't feel Ike looking for another hotel. We only stayed one night, never again. The paint was falling off the ceiling. Not a pleasant experience. When I told the front desk she said she would go up and spray the room while we went out. She didn't. The next morning the lady at the front desk told us that they don't spray the rooms, only m... Read more

I was very impressed with this hotel. This was my first visit and I picked this hotel because dogs( my poodle) are welcome. Well in the back of my mind I was thinking that it would not be clean because of the dogs being there. but I was wrong when I walked into my room there was no sign/smell that a dog had visited the hotel. The front desk clerk Olga was very welcoming. I got to meet several of the room attendants and they were nice and friendly too!!. I'm already looking into booking another... Read more

Luckily, there was no fairground event happening so we were able to get a room. We had a non-smoking king bed room. It was comfortable and adequately appointed for a budget motel. Although the Wing House is next door, we wanted something else for dinner. We drove a few miles away to other eateries in the area.TIP! This location charges up front for the room safe even if you don't use it. They will take the charge off your bill if you request it when you leave.

When my friend and i first arrived she was asked by one of the clientele if he could bum a cigarette...she was not happy and little concerned about our safety...after we arrived back from the Casino pulling up into the parking lot it was very dark and we just wanted to get in the room and shut the door and lock it...at about 11pm there was a violent argument (male and female) in the parking lot in front of our door...called the front desk and they sent down security...there is no pool...no coffe... It drives me nuts when people dog a 2 star for being a 2 star. Want better? Pay more. Want a very convenient and clean place for not a lot of money? Here you go. Super convenient and clean. I've been here more than once...that says something. If you want a clean place that's quick to get to after a concert at the fairgrounds, and doesn't cost a lot, this is it. I spend my money on better concert seats.

This place is average but it accepts pets and is right across the street from the amphitheater so it is quite convenient for a concert or show. This is not the Ritz but it was clean and the staff was very friendly.
