"this is a pretty nice hotel especially for the money the king suite was nice and enjoyable, the only thing i could say was a pain was the tv situation, it kept going back to the main menu after you switch channels a few times, but who goes to a hotel to watch tv lol... pool is amazingly nice with great scenery..."

"Hotel close to Busch Gardens, Dining, and shopping. Hotel staff was slow to respond to complaints. To be fair the maintenance man was also the shuttle driver and housekeeper."

"I agree with most of the comments already posted on this Hotel. NASTY!!! Pros - Friendly staff, good breakfast, and Shuttle service. Cons-dirty dirty dirty. The carpet was disgusting to the point if you walked across it as you got out of the shower (broken and Leaking) your feet would turn brown from the dirt. A/C worked half the time, Elevators are nasty, only 2 computers for over 200 guests, Wi-Fi was terrible, kept dropping and only 1-2 bars of connectivity, Constantly had to ask for towels, Sleep Sofa was torn, broken and stained. Severely under staffed, one employee was the driver, security and Maintenance. He worked so much he actually had to sleep at the hotel. Cleaning services were non-existent, had to walk down to the front desk to get towels because the Phone was broken (too much static/loose connection). Paper thin wall. If you're looking for a place to lay your head for the night, do it somewhere else. I want a refund!!!!"

"This hotel was terrible. It was understaffed, the food was terrible, the room was dirty, it even had hairs in the bathroom, and dirty towels, the room was non-smoking and it smelled like someone had been smoking in it. The sofa bed was broken and had wholes from burn marks and stains. Bottom line you are better of paying $10 or $20 more fore a better experience, I will never stay here again and I strongly suggest you don't either.."

"Hotel was in very poor repair. Ice machines were broken. Ripped bedding and material on furniture, broken hair dryer, no wi-fi in room for iPads, rude man at front desk and unwilling to help anyone. Very disappointed."

"Please save yourself from this location. The only reason I gave a 2 for staff efficiency was for two special employees. Everyone one else I encountered was below rating. The electric system kept shorting out, room key wouldn't open door. Poor maintenance man had to keep unlocking doors. Fire concerns due to so many electrical concerns. Running on partial power another day. No ice, No A/C, Breakfast shortage due to partial power. Night staff almost rude. If it had not been for these two we would have moved after the first night. Not sure why we stayed. Floors were disgusting. Beds had been replaced. New TV's but maintenance man had to come work on the first night. He said several had been acting up. Nonsmoking room couch has cigarette burns on it. Husband complained as one child with allergy. All we received as response was sorry they all look like that. Ants in room. Arrived to a room booked for two adults, two children to find one towel and one wash cloth. Pool may have been heated but it was not warm at all. Maybe by summer. Location close to Busch Gardens and shuttle driver very helpful, same guy maintenance, limited shuttle. But the area in Tampa is not the safest area of Tampa. I could go on but I am sure I have given you a clear vision of the Baymont Inn Busch Gardens. Better hotels for the same amount of money in the area."

"The photos of the exterior are misleading. Photos make it look like there is a patio/balcony off each room facing the pool. Neighborhood is not the greatest but it was less than a mile away from the park. Room was okay. Beds and mattress was comfortable and clean/new! Paid $52.00 a night so for the price it was worth it but would not pay anymore for it that is for sure!"

"You definitely will want to spend a few extra dollars to stay at a nicer place. This motel has potential however I think that the management is too cheep to spend any money on even the simplest fixes. The pool did not smell like chlorine the breakfast was very minimal the room uugh!! The bed sheets seemed to be clean however the rest of the room was dirty the pull out bed was broken and there were bugs crawling on everything. Our first impression was when we showed up to check in the police were there arresting someone, that's when we should have left! I believe that it is actually unsafe to stay there for your health and just plan safety. IN addition the area that the hotel is in is dangerous! My husband and I were actually assaulted at the local Walmart and had to be walked out by security only to find the person still stalking us in the parking lot. I still was trying to enjoy the room and went out on the balcony and while trying to get some fresh air I was stung by wasps. My husband looked up and saw several nests hanging on the roof of the balcony were I was sitting. Management needs to spend some money to get this motel either up to code or the hotel should be shut down."
