Good location for downtown, university area. The only issue is trying to make left turn from hotel, recommend turn right and make u turn. Breakfast area was well stocked and attended, hot and delicious.

Pleased with the breakfast, Coffee available all day long, the hotel personnel was great and room was cleaned wonderfully! The only issue, which I did bring to the front desk's attention had to do with a water leak via the bathtub, into the bedroom (the floor/carpet was wet). Everything else was absolutely wonderful!

Friendly staff, room was great, clean and smelled good. The towels smelled good and didn't leave the white lint all over. Very comfortable bed, although it was continental breakfast, there could have had more breakfast options.

I have always found this hotel to be a good value for people traveling to Tallahassee for either the state government or FSU. It is a few miles away from downtown but a quick trip in. There is hot coffee and tea 24 hours a day, and a complimentary breakfast with a lot of different options. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the hallways and elevator.

Beds were so comfy, nice furnishings and decor. AC a little noisy if you are a light sleeper. Vibrates when going on/off cool cycle. All other features, this place was terrific. Staff friendly, very clean!

It was nice hotel, quiet for the most part. It could use some improvements on their breakfast. Fresh smell and clean for the most part. Swimming pool was clean and refreshing, it is outside. Vending available on each floor, Coke products, yay. Plenty of parking, shares with other hotels. It is easy to miss from the road, signs could be taller, bigger, closer to the road, maybe.

Centrally located within the greater Tallahassee area. Plenty of restaurants and mall in area. Easy drive to most state offices. Older facility, but clean, well appointed. Breakfast was very good. Only negative was the FSU pictures that were in this UF Gator's room!!

This is a typical Hampton Inn and would have been rated just 'average', were it not for the exceptionally pleasant staff. There are some very nice folks working here, at all departments. Located on Apalachee Parkway, it's about a 10-15 (depending on traffic) minute drive to downtown and the FSU campus. Nothing extraordinary about the surroundings. There are several restaurants and a Target for shopping nearby.

This must be a remodeled Motel 6. Room was smelly and small and looked like it was an old hotel with a cheap remodel. AC was noisy. The building was being remodeled and so there was loud construction noise all day into late afternoon. The lobby bathrooms did not work. 48 hour cancellation policy that id you are calling in at 47.9 hours prior they will not let you cancel. Not very nice management staff. I will not stay there again.

The room smelled very fresh and clean upon arrival. The bed was very comfortable. The hot breakfast was spectacular. This was a business trip for me, the location was selected by someone else in the company based on cost and location needs. That can sometimes complicate things, but I was very pleased with the selection. The staff were awesome--courteous and helpful.

Hotel appeared nice online so we decided to use hilton points for a room to help break up a loooong drive to Disney. Checked in through the hilton app. Amazingly easy. Arrived late in the evening. Got the room keys fairly quickly and was soon getting ready for bed. Three kids and me and the wife...we needed additional pillows and blankets. So I called the front desk. It rang but there was no answer. Called two additional times. No answer any of the three times I called. So I went to the front de... Read more

I give lobbying skills classes across the USA using many hotels. This hotel's staff is among the most pleasant and helpful ever. Small conference room was a perfect classroom. Hotel is a little frayed around the edges. It's a Hampton, not an Omni! Easy walk to restaurants.

Great stay. The facility and staff were both very good. The hotel was clean, comfortable and conveniently located to main attractions (yet nestled quietly off the major entry road). I was here for my daughter's freshman orientation session at FSU. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

My stay was Average nothing special or overt the top. The staff was nice. However the rooms did look a little used and could have a thorough cleaning. Compared to the rates paid in the past at other hotels the room was over priced for the location.

Due to gastronomical problem while on a 4-day stay, inside lip of toilet bowl was soiled on night 2. This was not cleaned by housekeeping staff on day 3 or 4. Although room is freshened and re-supplied each morning, it seems they don't clean the bathroom when guest is on a multi-day stay.

After a week in Orlando on the hardest beds known to travelers, the HUGE beds in the room were very welcoming, soft, and comfortable. The room was very quiet, the AC was cold, and there was plenty of hot water! It's a bit far from I-10, but was well worth it.

This Hampton is in a great location and far enough back from the road to provide a truly quiet stay. It also shares a lot with two restaurants which made it a true travelers retreat. The staff were all pleasant, helpful and attentive. The rooms are standard, but also quiet and clean. The microwave and refrigerator were gear additions to the room. Breakfast was the typical fare and it was kept replenished as was the coffee.

We try to stay at Hampton Inns when we can. This was a good one, friendly staff. We got a good price, too, from our HHonors account. Very nice lady checked us in at night and was still there in the morning when we had breakfast. The only complaint was a small one - the breakfast staff forgot to make the oatmeal! Normally we wouldn't care about that sort of thing, but as vegans we rely on the oatmeal. So we had to wait a while to eat. Nice place, would return!

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Hotel was booked solid, but we got our reservation in just in time. The catch was we (2-rooms) were just below the gym. Thankfully they were able to switch us to new rooms as guests checked out. The breakfast was better than I remembered, with fresh berries and even granola. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Thank you!

I've stayed here twice recently. The first time I was visiting FSU, the second for a night in Tallahassee. The rooms were decent, and the front desk staff were friendly, but neither time did offer water/snacks for HHonors status. The hotel is conveniently located for access to Tallahassee. But, the breakfast selection was poor - the person working seemed more interested in singing to himself, and chatting to guests than actually ensuring the breakfast area was well-stocked. Overall, the property was clean and inviting. The staff were awesome and any requests for service were met with professionalism and in a timely manner. Would not hesitate to stay there again. It would be nice if the property would offer shuttle service to state or federal locations in the area, as well as the option of an evening meal. It is difficult to walk to any nearby restaurants and the selection is very limited.

During the aftermath of Hurricane Hermine, we found ourselves without electricity. On day five, I'm not sure if we were headed to divorce court. Instead we headed out to look for a hotel. Although the hotel itself had only had electricity for 2 hours, the manager and her staff bent over backwards to get us in a clean cool room as quickly as possible. It had what I needed for an overnight trip. The staff was friendly. I don't think they are knowledgeable on HHonors members. The rooms were decent but they could be cleaner. The breakfast area could use some work. There wasn't any butter out and the plates should be a little bit bigger then the waffles; not the same size.

Stayed here with my daughter for apt. hunting for grad school. Knew nothing about Tallahassee. The night receptionist spent 30 minutes, with a map, helping us "learn" the city. The manager assisted us in the morning with computer and other needs before we left. The entire staff greeted each other like family, and treated the guests the same. I will recommend this property to everyone.

Standard chain hotel, standard room, price etc but from experience this chain has had a rethink. They seem to have asked the question, "what do our guests want?" The result is a warm, efficient and quick service, comfortable beds, use of amenities when you want to have your own drinks and staff always helpful and willing to be of assistance, by no means a universal virtue in US hostelries and the Hampton at Tallahassee was a case in point. For our overnight stop it fit the bill perfectly. Thank ... Read more

Only complaint would be the loud air conditioner. Motor ran very hard, and it had to be on given the temperature. Otherwise it's good business and quality as usual for Hampton.
