The hotel is small but cozy! There isn't a full kitchen, but there's a mini-fridge and microwave... The pool is nice and the hotel is right in the beach! There's a pier a little bit down... We saw 3 or 4 dolphins... And saw little purple fish and long green and blue ones that look like pencils! There's a restaurant on the pier, too! The view from our room is fantastic! There's a Playground for the kids and coconuts with a carved monkey to drink at a tiki bar and if u but a certain cup u get free... Read more

This hotel sucks, paid 200 and something a night for a room with no wifi, leaking air conditioner (onto the main hallway) floor full of water, phone and safe none working (like seriously) , over all the hotel is old with exception of the lobby which has been renovated some, oh and the manager said checkout was at 10 ( when have you ever heard of that) parking $25 a night kinda ridiculous but most hotels are. Pool area has a man playing Caribbean music the whole day! Just that and nothing else ug... Read more

My parents booked their timeshare at this resort for one week. We have used our exchange all over the world: Asia, Europe, US and we were never disappointed. I am also originally from the area. but wow, were we in for a shock at this dump of a resort. I thought, sunny isles? How bad could it be, right next to some awesome buildings. I couldn't have been more wrong in my whole life. We had a two bedroom unit and it was so unacceptable my dad paid an additional 700 dollars to get a more updated 2 ... Read more

We've booked this hotel over the Labor Day weekend in hope to get a nice relaxing vacation. We would never stay at this hotel again, the room is disgusting, sofa with holes, rusted bathroom, it's just filthy and rowdy people.

Stayed at the Newport Hotel with my family for a 2 week holiday. After reading peoples reviews on tripadvisor it was a little worried about what to expect but the was nothing to worry about. The hotel was lovely had a nice room over looking the pool, the room was cleaned everyday if we wished. Staff were very polite and helpful, the beach and pier were amazing. The pool was abit noisey it was clean my children spent everyday in it. Breakfast in the hotel was lovely my kids loved the waffles, out... Read more

This hotel is exactly as listed. I will update later with photos I took. They are exactly as you see in ad. It may be an older hotel. However, it has been totally renovated and updated! Especially at this price range to be in this area at this price. We came. For one night but extended and are staying here three nights! Amenities are awesome and so is the staff. Pool, wading pool, hot tub all in great condition. Walk right out on the beach. Choices of bars and restaurants steps away. Great pl... Read more

Just returned from Florida with family and friends. Stayed for one week in this hotel. This is the third time I have stayed here in the last 8 years. Not changed much in that time. Rooms are clean and comfortable with 2 large double beds. Room had fridge and microwave but no tea/coffee making facilities which have to be requested if required. We stayed 4 nights here (9/16 - 9/20) in an oceanfront suite on the 11th Floor. Check-in was fairly easy. We originally planned to self-park but we were not happy with the outside location of the lot across the street from the hotel as there was a steady flow of traffic on Collin Street. The room was well appointed and clean. There was a microwave oven, small refrigerator and a small sitting room with its own television. The view from our balcony was quite nice overlooking the ocean and pier... Read more

Older hotel in the middle of quite a few of the local luxuries. If you can get past the overwhelming family presence and use the hotel for what it is you will be pleasantly surprised. Room was exceptionally clean and spacious. Staff was smiling and courteous. Grounds were very well kept. Only part that threw me off a bit was the concierge trying to get me to sit through a 90 min presentation. From what I understand it was to convince me to book directly with the hotel instead of going through a... Read more

The hotel at first glance appears to be renovated and quite appealing. The pool area is beautiful and the beach is fabulous! The hotel restaurant, Kitchen 305 was excellent! The rooms are dated and our bed was very uncomfortable! For the price I must say this is an ABSOLUTE MUST. The service is GREAT from the housekeepers, to the bell man, the front desk. Only issues I had was the room its self, the interior looked a little low budget, the walls were falling apart and could've been a little cleaner. The Lobby smells SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD, Pleasant, warm. When we arrived in our room there was a bottle of champagne and balloons waiting for us with a welcome note from hotel staff indicating we were selected as guest of the day. We respectfully declined to attend presentation and NO PRESSURE was given. Upon checkout, Edward, was courteous, helpful, and quite attentive to our needs.

Welcome to the 1970's with mirroring on the walls in the bedroom and little sitting area, of which the couch is so old you sink to the floor.
