Very clean room! Got a free upgrade on my room. The staff was super friendly and when I checked out the manager went out of his way to answer my question! Only stayed one night but would definitely stay here again.

The Courtyard has taken over and remodeled the old Pennsylvania Hotel and built a more modern addition. If you were as unfortunate as us to be in the old section, you will note how small the rooms are and how they are arranged. Our room overlooked the employees parking lot. Some of the in -room amenities were absent and one phone did not work. I also thought the charge for " valet" parking for this type of hotel was excessive, if not totally unnecessary. The hate is close to some restaurants and... Read more

I've stayed here a couple of time, it's in a cute historical building and in easy walking distance of lots of the great restaurants and shops in downtown St. Pete. The staff is friendly, but the layout is a little bit weird (since it's an old building). But it meets all the Courtyard standards.

Stayed here 1 night recently for a concert. The parking sucks, so if you find a good metered spot or such keep it! The hotel is in good shape, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly...except for the part where a housekeeping staff saw me struggling with my key and NEVER even asked for ID or a name...nothing! and just used their key to let me in...really? what if that was someone else's room? Although I did appreciate not having to go downstairs, they should have verified ... Read more

Hotel staff was amazing and free shuttle was great. But woke up sick both mornings. .headache, sore throat, dizzy. Turned on lamp and found mold in vents. Called the hotel to speak with manager...front desk would not transfer me. Had to leave a message. $455 for 2 nights. Surely they will get the mold out and credit me for my stay.

We stayed at this hotel several times but never again. We came to celebrate Thanksgiving with our children and family. On Friday November 25 the "valet stand lockbox" with all the keys and fobs of the hotel guests was stolen from the front of the Hotel. Later that afternoon my car was stolen using the stolen fob that the robber acquired. The hotel has displayed egregious behavior toward us and refused to assume any responsibility for their action or to have any discussion. Instead they insisted... Read more

The Courtyard is right Downtown. In a cool historic building. You can walk to a lot of restaurants and entertainment. If you don't need to park during the day, find parking on the street and save some money. There seemed to be plenty of parking available. Bed was so-so but still enjoyed our stay.

I stayed in the courtyard over Thanksgiving. There was an incident with the valet stand being stolen, with all the keys inside. The General Manager Ryan went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Ryan and his team along with the Valet company were able to get keys made for my 4runner to get me on the road again. They also had staff personally watch the cars until everyone effected had left. I would definitely stay in this hotel again because of the way they handled the situation. It i... Read more

This is a well situated hotel. easy to everything we needed. However, we really feel the hotel rooms are very small (more like a single room than a double) and the bathroom difficult to navigate. The refrigerator did not work the first 2 days, We stored water and drinks and were surprised they were warm. Reported this and it was fixed. The bathroom did not seem to have a working vent..showers resulted in a steam filled room. Since we were on the 2nd floor it was quicker to walk than to ta... Read more

I was there for a business conference and they arranged the lodgings but I'd would recommend this hotel myself. The hotel is an older hotel that was obviously added on to and renovated. (The elevator certificate was for "The Pennsylvania Hotel"). They've done a nice job on the renovations though. There are two elevators, one near the main lobby was the original elevator and may have even been operated by an employee at one time...no longer but it was quite charming albeit fairly slow in ascent/d...
