We had an amazing stay at the St. George. The staff were very personable, the room was beautiful and comfortable. The location was ideal, as everything was in walking distance. I would love to stay there again and would highly recommend the St. George to anyone staying in St. Augustine.

We came in for 2 days of exploring this ancient Spanish town. The staff was very helpful giving ideas of what to see around town and where to locate said attractions. Right outside our room, we had the ancient city gates and a view of The Fort, and we were right on St. George St, where you could walk around, shop, eat, and hear live music. The rooms are comfortable, but we thought the breakfast that the inn served was a little pedestrian, especially for what we paid for the room.

We enjoyed our couple of nights at the St. George Inn!! We loved everything about our Santa Maria room and the location was great for sight seeing! We got on the trolley right outside the hotel and it was great to never have to get our car out of the garage! The staff was wonderful as well from arrival til the day we left! We wIll definitely return!

The beds were very comfortable. We had a great view of graveyard, fort, water and loved the breezy, nice balcony and rockers. Cool breeze for end of May. We will stay here again. Breakfast was good. It was a small selection but always tasty and filling. People were very helpful from the moment we arrived till we exited. Pull in the pull off and they'll help you unload car then direct you once checked in to the $7.50/ night city parking garage around the block to get going the right way since it ... Read more

Great location right on St George Street. Our balcony opened right out to the pedestrian walkway. Very friendly staff. Quaint and very clean room; comfortable beds. Continental breakfast consisted of breads, lunch meats, cheeses, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, coffee, and juices. If you are looking for a more traditional American breakfast with eggs and pancakes, there are a plethora of restaurants within walking distance. Lots of shopping, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and attractions within walkin... Read more

We booked this hotel through Trip Advisor after reading all the fabulous reviews. We were not disappointed. Once you arrive, you park across the front entrance and the staff helps you bring in your belongings. You are provided a parking pass to a parking garage 2 blocks away that allows you to use it as you wish. The normal cost to the garage is $12 per ENTRY so if you go in and out multiple times, it's going to cost you. The cost for the pass is $7.50/day. Our room was excellent with a fr... Read more

Charming,Clean and Center of it all! The entire staff was welcoming, carrying our luggage right to our room, answering all our questions gave us a few great recommendations for dinner and just friendly to visit with. The room....We opened the door(with a real key) we were delighted! Southern charm with modern conveniences. We loved the french doors and took advantage of the rockers and the great views of the village schoolhouse. Bed was sooo lush and comfortable, we can't wait til we are able t... Read more

The nicest place we have been to in a long time. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even providing umbrellas when it rained. We will definitely be back. The room was great, we'll decorated and quiet. We were located on the courtyard and orange street, could see the fort and cemetery and people coming an going. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our visit! We were able to check in a bit early which was really nice. The Inn is located in a great, central location. Covered parking is included in your stay and is a short walk from the Inn. The room we had was a very nice size, clean, decorated beautifully. The continental breakfast was really nice. I can say enough about the amazing staff! They were all friendly, outgoing, extremely helpful and went above and beyond. We will go back. ****the only issue with our stay i... Read more

It has been our 2nd time to stay at the St. George Inn. We stayed in Orlando for 2 weeks but the children asked to go back to Saint Augustine and the St. George Inn. It is still as amazing as in 2014. The staff are fantastic and make you feel at home. We definitely will comeback. Thank you for another beautiful stay.

St George Inn was amazing. Great staff and terrific location. I loved being able to walk right out onto the main streets to shop or dine/get ice cream. The room was great. I will go back for sure. You do need to pay to park daily in a parking garage just a couple of blocks over but there is a place at the office to unload and they are right there to help carry all your items. I did not mind the cost for parking because the parking garage is nice, clean, close by and in good area so safe.

Spent a night there on this trip and decided to re-book the St. George Inn. Great location, well-kept property, and the management and staff were excellent. Located right on the St. George St. pedestrian mall it is conveniently located right in the heart of the old town. Restaurants, bars, shopping are all right there....no car needed. If you are looking to enjoy the old town, look no further.

Although the Inn boasts a "no smoking" policy, guests are permitted, even encouraged, to smoke on the shared balcony. That's like having the peeing end of the pool. Our "neighbors" on both sides smoked through the day and night. The smoke permeated our room and made it unbearable. We booked what we thought would be a lovely non-smoking room only to be subjected to the disgusting second-hand smoke of the other guests. St. George Inn needs to change it's smoking policy or tell potential guests... Read more

Although the staff and the location are exceptional, the room was just ok. It was a king bed room, and it was very small. Not much sound proofing either and mattress was a little too soft. It was clean and efficient, but nothing great. I do want to say that their employees were the best we have ever encountered in a hotel and we absolutely loved its location.

We booked this little get away a couple of weeks ago. Our first time at a B&B. First day was great. We slept in. The place is on the north side off old town. Parking is off-site. Not a biggie, because you walk everywhere. The staff was great and accommodating. The only issue we had was with our neighbors. Our last night, they turned on the tv really loud and started having loud obnoxious sex at 2AM. I'm all for great sex, and all and good for them. But at that time in the morning we were woken u... THE best location and accommodations I have found in St Augustine. Very polite and attentive staff as well. Dropping off bags could not have been easier; front door curbside. Parking was easy and close. Parking lot was staffed by security all night. The city itself was a beautiful calm and diverse place.

We have stayed at numerous B&B establishments in St Augustine over the years but I must say this is the best so far. Our stay this time was for our anniversary so it had a little extra meaning. From the moment we pulled up the staff went out of their way to assist us and make us feel at home. In this day and age where customer service is lacking they go above and beyond. The room was very good size and had a fantastic view of the City Gates and Fort. The bathroom size was more than adequate and ... Read more

This is the second year in a row we have celebrated our anniversary at the St. George Inn. We love relaxing on the porch with the view overlooking the bay and watching the sailboats going by in the river and the horse drawn carriages going down the road. We spent 3 nights here. It is a great inn. We had a room that had a balcony in front that overlooked the courtyard shops and a balcony in the back with rocking chairs that over looked the oldest school. Yes we heard the school bell during the day when we weren't sightseeing but at night we listened to a band from our balcony! It is in the heart of the historic area- close to the parking garage- shops- restaurants- the trolley stopped right outside the inn. Complimentary breakfast- coffee maker i... Read more

from the outside it looks like an old property, but its not. rooms decorated nicely, but were a little tight moving around getting past the bed. the balcony was nice. but didn't like the room, as the sink, a stand alone, was in the sleeping area and had no place for toiletries. staff was great and put in a table for us to use. A little noisy being on the street but that's to be expected when in a great tourist area. really enjoyed our stay there and look forward to returning in Sept.

The one thing that stands out with this Inn is its service. Frendly and helpfull staff. One day we had the do not disturb sign hung on the doorknob. When we when outside there was a basket of toiletries sitting in front of the door.Never had a hotel do that for us. A+++ You cannot go wrong with this place.

Every year we roll our reservation over for a Castillo Suite and spend the 4th of July in St. Augustine. The city, the celebration, and the St. George are perfect. So many of the rooms face the Castillo where the most amazing fireworks display is launched, balconies and rocking cars are the perfect place to see the show. No place in the South celebrates the 4th like St. Augie. Irving and his wonderful staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Pull up, unload your ca... Read more

Great hotel in a great location. My husband and I come every year. For the first few years, we stayed on the beach, but found that we were driving every day to St. George street. Last year we stayed here and loved it so much that we are staying here again. The staff is extremely sweet and helpful. We requested the same room and got it. We love this place!

We visited the St. George Inn back in 2012 and had a great time. We returned and stayed from July 12-15 in 2016...and guess what? Our stay was even better! We were greeted curbside and received friendly help with unloading our packed vehicle. The check-in process was as smooth as glass with no hiccups at all. We visited the St. Augustine in late July 2016 and lodged at the St. George Inn. From the moment our vehicle pulled up we were greeted with warmth, our luggage carried to our room and given tips on how best to enjoy our short stay. The room was clean, charming and had a balcony that looked onto the Fort and the bay. We will return to St. Augustine to better enjoy the town in cooler weather (it was well over 100degrees when we visited) and will return to St. George Inn!

This was our second stay here, we liked it so much last time that we stayed again. You can't ask for a better location, pretty much everything is walking distance, and there's a trolley stop right nearby to get you to anything that isn't. You may not even need your car at all the entire stay. Parking is in a garage across the street.
