We had an amazing stay at the St. George. The staff were very personable, the room was beautiful and comfortable. The location was ideal, as everything was in walking distance. I would love to stay there again and would highly recommend the St. George to anyone staying in St. Augustine.

We came in for 2 days of exploring this ancient Spanish town. The staff was very helpful giving ideas of what to see around town and where to locate said attractions. Right outside our room, we had the ancient city gates and a view of The Fort, and we were right on St. George St, where you could walk around, shop, eat, and hear live music. The rooms are comfortable, but we thought the breakfast that the inn served was a little pedestrian, especially for what we paid for the room.

Great location right on St George Street. Our balcony opened right out to the pedestrian walkway. Very friendly staff. Quaint and very clean room; comfortable beds. Continental breakfast consisted of breads, lunch meats, cheeses, oatmeal, fruits, yogurt, coffee, and juices. We booked this hotel through Trip Advisor after reading all the fabulous reviews. We were not disappointed. Once you arrive, you park across the front entrance and the staff helps you bring in your belongings. You are provided a parking pass to a parking garage 2 blocks away that allows you to use it as you wish. The normal cost to the garage is $12 per ENTRY so if you go in and out multiple times, it's going to cost you. The cost for the pass is $7.50/day. Our room was excellent with a fr... Read more

St George Inn was amazing. Great staff and terrific location. I loved being able to walk right out onto the main streets to shop or dine/get ice cream. The room was great. I will go back for sure. You do need to pay to park daily in a parking garage just a couple of blocks over but there is a place at the office to unload and they are right there to help carry all your items. I did not mind the cost for parking because the parking garage is nice, clean, close by and in good area so safe.

Although the Inn boasts a "no smoking" policy, guests are permitted, even encouraged, to smoke on the shared balcony. That's like having the peeing end of the pool. Our "neighbors" on both sides smoked through the day and night. The smoke permeated our room and made it unbearable. We booked what we thought would be a lovely non-smoking room only to be subjected to the disgusting second-hand smoke of the other guests. St. George Inn needs to change it's smoking policy or tell potential guests... Read more

It is right across from the old city gate and it is worth it to pay a little more and get a second floor room with a balcony so you can sit outside and look at the fort and water in the evenings. Great little spot. We had a great time and wonderful stay at St. George Inn. The rooms are a very nice size very comfortable. The parking garage is around the corner. Park your car and walk to where you need to go or buy a trolly ticket around the corner and ride to where you want to go while getting a tour and learning some history. The tickets are good for 3 days so get it your first day there (unlike us who got them on our last day).
