My husband and I stayed at the Poolside King for a 3-night anniversary getaway. The room was super cute and very clean. I was very nice having our own little separate cottage right there at the pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the entire place seemed to be well taken care of. There are lots of little touches that made this such a special stay. For example, breakfast is delivered to your room every morning and they give you a discount at their putt-putt golf course next door. I u... Read more

This was a very uncomfortable stay. If you sat on the love seat sofa in the room, the air conditioner was blowing direct on you. The tile flooring needed to have the grout cleaned. We didn't find the bed to be particularly comfortable. On the good side, wi fi was included. Very expensive for this experience.

We stayed two nights at this place and it was a mom and pop type hotel run EXTREMELY well. Rooms were updated and clean and a home baked breakfast was a wonderful surprise! Baked muffins and other non traditional items you order the night before and they arrive piping hot and fabulous. The property itself was pristine with a beautiful pool area, great pool and gorgeous walkway to the white sand beach. We loved this place and will definitely stay again. La Fiesta Inn is a great inn to stay at when vacationing in St. Augustine. Very clean, the staff is very organized, very attentive. It's a quiet location, we were in Room 218 with an ocean view from our private balcony. Only a 15 min. drive to the old city and 1 hour to Daytona Int'l. Speedway. If you love gardens, be sure to check out Washington Oaks Garden a 40 min. drive. Beautiful rose gardens. We planned a "spur of the moment" trip to St.Augustine Beach and decided to stay at La Fiesta for 6 nights! Neither my husband or myself have ever been to St. Augustine before. What a wonderful experience! The friendliest, most helpful staff. The owner made a point of meeting the guests. We toured St. Augustine on 3 of the days, enjoyed the beach several times, dined at some amazing restaurants, relaxed and appreciated the facilities. My husband and I decided to take a weekend getaway to St. Augustine. We wanted to stay on the beach, and chose this location because of the pictures and the reviews. We were so pleased with our choice. When we pulled into the property it resembled a motel setup, but was remodeled beautifully. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Not a luxury hotel by far, but it was very nice and had all we were looking for. Private beach access, a nice pool, and a continental style breakfast delivered to your room every morning. About 15 minutes from downtown St Augustine, but there were a few restaurants and bars within walking distance.

Remodeled, clean, upgraded complex, directly on the beach (a short, flowered walk away with a covered cool-off place to sit and rest if needed), sparkling 60-foot pool bordered by a green, growing pergola. But that's only the beginning. We've never experienced this level of friendly service, not even in higher-end hotels. Continental breakfast was your choice of menu items including delectable homemade scones and muffins, delivered in your time preference. What luxury to lounge in your tasteful... Read more

We stayed here for four nights in June to celebrate our anniversary. We found this little gem of a hotel last year when we stayed on two occasions. Our family stayed at La Fiesta for the long holiday weekend. It was wonderful. The beach access is close and easy, the delivered breakfast delicious and the cleaning staff very efficient. The pool area was very nice and the pool itself was larger than most hotel pools. The beds were comfortable and the rooms cool and quiet. The team at La Fiesta went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel comfortable and at home. We ended up staying on the coldest weekend of the year and they checked us in early to make sure our kids were warm. They even found my kid's beanie when she had dropped it in the car park and recognized it and made sure we got it. The rooms were simple but clean and neat and the continental breakfast was great. Thank you for making our stay an enjoyable one.

What a great place to stay in St. Augustine! The room and grounds were impeccable and the staff could not have been friendlier or more knowlegeable. The complimentary breakfast is brought to your door each morning at your requested time and could not have been any fresher or any yummier. The beach is close and with its own private boardwalk easy to get to. We chose LaFiesta based on reviews and were not disapointed. Will stay here on our next trip back to St Augustine. I now know why there is a 85% return rate. Had a wonderful 5 day stay in the apartment unit next to the office. No one is upstairs so it was quiet. I didn't really need a beach view as I took my morning coffee, beach chair and headed to the beach or sat under the terrace by the pool. There is a coffee maker in the room or coffee is available in the lobby. I stopped at the Publix grocery store just down the street and bought water bottles, milk for my morning coffee and a beach chair for $9.99 th... Read more

I paid $169 a night for a beachfront room with back patio and we see an old pivately owned ugly building behind our tiny dirty stoop. I'm so disappointed. It is a hotel/motel which should reflect in the price. Ea night is $212 with all the fees. Unbelievably expensive for this run down room with tile missing on part of floors and mold and it smelled dirty/musty. Really disappointed. I gave it 2 stars because the beach is beautiful ad the egg croissant for breakfast was good. Definitely never sta... Read more

The La Fiesta room was nice- looks like they put a lot of effort into decor, with higher end floor and bathroom tile as well as tissue dispenser, trash can and soap dish looking like it came from Bed Bath and Beyond. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great right on the beach, and there's mini golf right next door. Complimentary breakfast each morning could have used a little more variety day to day, but it's not a make or break reason as far as booking the hotel. A word... Read more

We stayed for 2 nights recently, and were very happy with our choice. Check in was quick, and the front desk attendant was very helpful with information about the beach bus times, which saved us from being stranded in St Augustine since we did not realize that the beach bus stopped running at 5pm. Our room was clean, the pool was lovely, and the walk to the beach was short. We particularly enjoyed getting up early one morning to watch the beautiful sunrise. Our family of 5 recently stayed 3 nights at Fiesta - we were greeted by Kim who was extremely helpful in orienting us about St. Augustine as it was our first visit. We stayed in the two floor suite with a partial ocean view. The room decor was a little dated but it was clean and perfect for our family. The two bathroom lay-out is hard to find and was great for our 3 teenage kids. Breakfast was great. Would stay here again.

It is a Motel, not a Hotel - no interior hallways. It is close to the beach. The Fireplace consists of a lightbulb behind a plastic covered sheet. The Breakfast delivered to the room was on-time, as requested, still hot/cold, as requested. Very nice, large pool. It was too expensive, but was a holiday weekend. - "Luxury" price, "mid-range" accommodations.

We talked for weeks about whether to give this motel 3 or 4 stars. It is definitely not a five. But I want to be fair, and because of the great people that work here at the motel, we decided on a four. But there are some things that you should know before picking this motel. 1. If you are not sure about how many nights you are going to stay, only book the minimum number of days. They will not give you a refund if you check out early. We weren't sure if we wanted to stay 2 or 3 nights, so I cal... Read more

The pool is beautiful and felt like bath water when we went one evening. The hotel is a short walk down a path to the beach. The beach is beautiful, waves are great and has tons of shells. The staff are very helpful in guiding us around St. Augustine...especially Steven. There is a beach bus for free that services the hotel! You don't need to drive in if you don't want to.
