I checked in on a Friday. My friends and I stayed the night before my wedding, got ready the day of the wedding and my husband and I stayed the night we got married. The room was perfect. Plenty of room for all of us the night before, and for all of us getting ready the next day. The breakfast was amazing!

We stayed in the Governor White room a couple weeks ago for one night - our first time. The room was on the second floor and it was a good size - bed was super comfy. I believe they had a full house the night we were there but it didn't seem crowded or loud. The location of Marin House cannot be beat, in my opinion. Right across from the bay with views of the Bridge of Lions and the St. Augustine Lighthouse. They have tons of decking with plush seating and swings so you can just hang out th... Read more

This was our first time staying at the Bayfront Marin House. This was one of the most memorable stays we have ever experienced. The Service is second to none. The breakfast were amazing every morning. (Thank you Mary) and staff! When it came to Happy Hour, lets just say the food was also amazing. Watch out, after that we were about too full to go out and eat an evening meal. We will be coming back. Again, I can't brag enough about the staff. I have to say, there was just "something abou... First visit to St Augustine and we wanted to not only experience Old Town but also the beach! Bayfront offers several cottages on Vilano Beach! We chose a room #93 Lookout ! Ocean front with walkway to the beach! Wonderful to relax every am with in room coffee and a basket of muffins, breads and fruit delivered to one's door and sit on deck overlooking the beach! Enjoyed several hrs. on the beach before heading in to town! Bayfront offers Full Breakfast in town if desired and also a parking are... Read more

This place was so unbelievably wonderful!!! The staff was heavenly!! We will be back! The two person jacuzzi was almost big enough for three. My husband was anti b&b but he almost cried when we had to leave. Breakfast was delicious every day and happy hour had amazing food and drinks. The private sunset cruise was breathtaking and the free bicycles were so fun to tour the area. If this b&b is ranked #3 in the nation, then what is it that #1 have? In closing, this place is to die for with the... Read more

This was our first romantic getaway before we were married. Four and a half years later it was great to find that everything is just as great as the first visit. The entire staff is fantastic, breakfast is wonderful in the beautiful courtyard, and the evening complimentary happy hour means you don't need to wander into town unless you want to. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. We were headed to Cape Canaveral early one morning and were graciously provided muffins and pastry before ... Read more

First time in St. Augustine and such a pleasure to stay right on the beach, greet the sunrise and enjoy our short getaway. Enjoyed the happy hour at the inn and the breakfasts were delicious and filling. The staff went out of their way to adjust our meal one morning and were very attentive. I would suggest that something be done about smoking outside the rooms however as it drifted into the courtyard area and made breakfast a bit unpleasant for guests sensitive to cigarette smoke. We also appre... Read more

We stayed here for 5 nights as part of a Florida road trip. The B&B is delightful and all of the staff are so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast and discussing our plans for the day. Breakfast is great and we enjoyed food that we would not normally choose such as blueberry waffles and breakfast casserole! Everything was freshly made and delicious. We also loved the Happy Hour where in addition to wine and beer there was lovely homemade Sangria (my personal favou... Read more

Stayed here for a long weekend trip to St Augustine. The location is great, right on the border to downtown, shopping, restaurants, and the beach, if you want. We walked right down the road 2 minutes to have a cold beer. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. They asked if we needed any ice for our drinks multiple times, just when we were sitting outside enjoying the evening. The courtyard is setup great. There are numerous locations to sit, relax, enjoy the sunset, or enjoy some d... Read more

This is a WONDERFUL B&B. The staff is as wonderful as the place is. The room, locations and everything about it was great. We stayed for 4 nights in May and wish we could of stayed longer. There is a beautiful courtyard with swings, hammock and many seating areas. A bountiful breakfast is served between 8 & 10 at your desired time. A "happy hour" is from 5pm to 7pm every evening with homemade appetizers, wine, beer and desserts. We were so full the 1st evening from this that we skipped di... Read more

My husband and I came to St Augustine to celebrate our 16th anniversary. We had no idea where to stay so I looked through Trip Advisor. With amazing reviews, we decided to stay at this B&B. Prior to booking, I emailed for some information about different rooms. They responded to each email quickly and with so much enthusiasm for their place. You could tell this would be a home-away-from-home. We were only able to stay 2 nights but we LOVED it and can't wait to come back! We stayed in room... Read more

Our first trip to St. Augustine and it will not be our last- I always book B&B's when it's just my husband and I and there were so many to choose from although my focus was on the view and location. I came across Bayfront Marin House during my search and it had everything I needed! Quaint, Historic, Bay view, private porch, breakfast made fresh everyday and outside courtyard eating watching the sunrise, evening reception from 5pm -7pm every nite, walking distance to everything. We stayed one night at the Lookout Suite at the beach but could have stayed a week. The room was very clean and spacious and had a deck facing the ocean. The beach, a short walk down a boardwalk, was uncrowded and had many beautiful sea shells for collecting. We loved sitting on the deck watching the sun rise in the morning and then walking on the nearly empty beach. Guests have the option of a breakfast basket of muffins in the room or going into town for a hot breakfast. We went into town ev... Read more

My husband and I stayed at the Dunes Suite on the beach to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful, incredibly clean suite. We had an ocean view from the window. It was slightly (very slightly) disappointing that we didn't have a back porch to sit and enjoy the ocean, but, like I said, we had a beautiful view from the window and we sat on the beach most mornings so the porch wasn't necessary. We loved that we could drive into the the historic district and not have to worry... Read more

Let me tell you I am a very picky person... I really checked this B&B out before going, and it was all I expected and more. I loved the room, I loved the view... I really loved the hospitality that was given to us when we got there. I want to thank Emery he is the best he goes beyond to make sure everything is great for your stay. I try and give helpful reviews. I had the room right by the front desk #5. You can smell the breakfast cooking each morning. You can also hear the people in the kitchen talking. Its like a house so you cannot expect complete quiet and breakfast cooking doesn't start until 715. The parking is a bit far but you can pull up out front if you need to put stuff in the car you don't want to carry. Breakfast is great. You can order as much food as you would like. This was probably the most relaxing mini vacation I've ever had. First let me tell you that it was my fiance's birthday and this man literally has everything and is not easily impressed. So I thought a Bed and Breakfast Inn would be a unique experience for him. The room was so romantic. Our room had a huge four poster bed and a two person jacuzzi. Stayed at the Bayfront Marin for 5 nights. We stayed at one of the beach cottages and it was just perfect. There was an issue with the air conditioning but the owner worked hard to accommodate us and even offered a free night. We stayed the free night in one of the rooms at the inn downtown and it was lovely as well. The breakfasts are delightful and the employees are more than friendly and helpful. We hope to return soon.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful B & B to celebrate our anniversary. It was a beautiful Bed & Breakfast, very clean and had a beautifully decorated room. The breakfast was delicious and the food kept coming. It is located directly across the street from the bay just down the street from the downtown shopping area and restaurants. It was a very quiet and peaceful stay in a great location. We noticed that children and dogs were also welcome. We would definitely go back and stay.

Wonderful B&B on the main road if St Augustine. Excellent staff. Stairs to get to many rooms if that is an issue. Also parking is around the block but they have a loading area for when you arrive and depart. Breakfast can be anywhere on the grounds that you like so you pick the night before. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful discovery! We stayed 2 nights and are already planning our return. Breakfast is delicious and happy hour is a treat. This was the perfect stay for my trip to St. Augustine. Right on the waterfront with easy access around the corner to hop on and off the Old Town Trolley or get the Red Train right across the street. Beautiful B&B right on the bay! Arrived past happy hour, but still offered drinks, love touches like that. Spacious, updated room with a jacuzzi tub, very clean & comfy. The care and concern for the guests at Bayfront Marin house is extraordinary. Let me explain. Shortly after we checked in, my partner got locked into the bathroom thanks to a faulty pocket door. I had to call the office for help. When the manager arrived, he said "That was supposed to have been fixed." Well, it obviously hadn't as evidenced by a rather angry lady stuck inside. Within a minute though, the door was opened and that might have been that. But it wasn't. The manager immediatel... Read more

We are very pleased with our recent stay. The breakfast was fabulous and filling. We had lunch only once in the 3 days we were there! The happy hour kept us satisfied as well till dinner! The room was clean, towels were soft and smelled great. I just wished that there were heavier drapes to darken the room at night. It would be better too I think if there was furniture for us to put our feet up after a long day's walk. We would gladly go back but take a bigger room next time.
