Spent about a week here while packing and moving from our home. It gave us a place to rest, have the dog and enjoy a leisurely breakfast . . . while being in walking distance of an Outback. Our room was always clean when we returned in the evening. The staff was friendly and courteous. On a busy weekend, the late breakfast eaters may miss out on what's available.

This hotel is in a great spot and is very welcoming. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Great for a vacation stay or business trip. I've stayed at this location for both vacation and business trips. The rates are excellent for the service that is provided. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying in the Spring Hill/ Weeki Wachee area.

I recently stayed 3 nights at Microtel & although the room was a bit tiny, it was very clean & the bed was comfortable. The staff were all very pleasant. The property is maintained well & the pool was great.

Love this hotel and have stayed often. The only sticking point is that there is only one luggage cart and if it's not awaiting my capture at the hotel doors then I end up schlepping my luggage (always a two trip proposition) from car to elevator to room. Never a problem in prior years but this "mature" woman now has arthritic knees so it ends up being painful. Otherwise, all is well - clean rooms, comfy linens, hospitable staff. Worth the price.

The room was very clean but on the small side but okay for one night. Unfortunately the towels were rather rough and we were only given two small ones so neither of us had a shower. The breakfast was good it even had waffle makers but there were only four tables and one bench so I can see at busy times there would be a problem. The other bad comment I shall make is that our neighbour had on their TV until 3am which kept us awake so the walls are quite thin.

My friends and I haven't been to Weeki Wachee since we were kids, so chose this hotel nearby and glad we did. Location was perfect, we shared a room that had a sofa that became a decent bed and the fridge/microwave area was great. The breakfast was decent and made a good start of the day. Beds comfortable, bathroom was good size and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in and had great suggestions for our stay in the area. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Your an hour north of Tampa/ Clearwater and about an hour and a half from Orlando. I look forward to staying again. Rooms are clean and staff is nice .

The hotel is pet friendly, has a pool, full service breakfast, THE ENTIRE STAFF IS HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL AND VERY ACCOMMODATING!!! If you are looking for a fantastic pet friendly hotel at very affordable rates then look no further. WE'LL BE BACK!!!

Great hotel. It was clean, well-maintained, good parking and conveniently located. It is right behind the Outback Steakhouse on the North side of the road. The front desk guy was very kind and helpful, and made us feel like family. They let us check in early, and checkout wasn't until noon. The pool looks much bigger than it really is, but it was clean, convenient and comfortable. The walls are paper thin, so you could hear people talking in the rooms on the sides, above and below. I took 4 kids and 2 dogs on a road trip. We ended up at this hotel during an extremely busy time of the year. The hotel was extremely clean, the staff was amazingly friendly and I would stay here again. The only downside was the pool area and the stuff in walking distance but given that we were there to dive this was still a great stay for a value chain property.

Loved the hotel at first very friendly people and very clean. Second night my husband found ants in his hat and phone and we washed them off. Third night we turned the lights on and there were ants everywhere we had to wake our 2 year old twins uo and leave at 12 pm. They refunded 1 night and kept waiting for me to say thanks i think i should have got a full refund.

We were in Spring Hill on personal business and spent two nights here. It is right off Commercial Way (US19/98) near several area businesses and not far from Brooksville. The rooms were not huge, but were immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. While our need to interact with staff was fairly minimal, they were easy to communicate with, all spoke English, and were pleasant and helpful. Just a shout out to the incredibly patient and hard working staff at this particular Microtel location to thank all of you for once again taking such great care of our rather sizable posse of scallopers! This is a very clean hotel with s nice lobby area that serves up fresh baked cookies with zeal and sports a decent "free" breakfast with pretty darn nice coffee. I spent last summer around the country and spent many nights at this hotel chain and was never disappointed ! Great price and a good breakfast. High quality mattresses . The best part is its pet friendly!!!!!! The wi fi is slow but that whole area has poor coverage, live with it , great price and clean and new. Someone said ants in room, this is south Florida they were lucky it wasn't an alligator!

We chose this hotel because of their dog friendly pet policy. Our room did smell bad and we notified the front desk. Joanne was very helpful and came up and sprayed the room with disinfectant spray. The woman who checked us out was not that friendly and we overheard her complaining to another employee while we had breakfast. This should not be done within earshot of the guests. But overall all our stay was good. When we are back in the area and traveling with a pet we would stay here again.

This place is nice new and clean yes. But the walls, floors, and ceilings are super thin because you could hear everything. We didn't really get any sleep either night we were here. Woke up to heavy foot stomping above us one day at 5:45 and you could hear tvs and loud parties on both sides of the walls. So noisy and not for the restful light sleepers. Also the wifi is really weak.

Clean hotel with comfy beds. Laundry facilities on the second floor which is handy. You have to go downstairs early though if you want any breakfast. Thin walls which can be a problem if other guests don't realize they're making a lot of noise. Still the best choice if you have to stay in that area.

We travel to the area periodically to look at real estate. We arrived late in the area and stopped at Applebee's to eat. The Microtel Inn is right there and we found it on the internet - great rate! The room was clean - new- beds very comfortable - nice bathroom - nice staff. The continental breakfast was standard but adequate. We did not notice any noise but it could have just been the location of our room or maybe they were not full. Would definitely stay again.

If you're taking the family on vacation to visit Weeki Wachi, this is your place! Clean, nice rooms, wifi (although slow), breakfasts, housekeeping was satisfactory (not great, but ok). If you're not there for a family vacation, choose a different hotel. The walls were thin, we heard children running and jumping at all hours of day and night. Noisy groups around the pool late at night. Not everyone is in town for party-time.

Served its purpose as an overnight stay to visit Weeki Wachee springs which is super close by, so that was definitely nice. Hotel was just ok in pretty much everyway, nothing really awful but nothing to write home about either. I can not believe some hotels still offer smoking and non smoking rooms, we had a non smoking room, but I could smell smoke in the hallways off the elevator every time which was pretty disgusting.

Our non-smoking room was definitely a former smoking room; our complaint was met with a "gee, we're overbooked, here's some Fabreze" - not what we expected! The queen beds in the singles are not queen but double beds - so get ready for some really tight and comfy sleeping arrangements! And there is hardly enough outlets for all of the electronic devices that need to be charged. The staff were polite; but I would not select this hotel again if traveling to the Weeki Wachee area.
