Friendly staff, beautiful decor, quick check in. Something in the room was a bit loud, I thought at the time the AC but afterwards my husband said he thinks the refrigerator. Had I known I would have just unplugged it. Otherwise it is a beautiful hotel, with pretty "hard wood" flooring and gorgeous bedding. Imagine Pottery Barn opens a hotel at the beach. Also a great lobby bar to grab a nightcap in before you head back to the room, or to bring back to your room. Highly recommend. We will... Read more

Everything about this hotel was excellent! Our room was super comfortable; the hotel location is ideal; the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There is free wifi, free parking, and free use of beach cruiser bicycles. Did I mention they also threw in free snacks in our room, and a breakfast credit? We had breakfast on the morning of check out, and I'm happy to report the meal was excellent too! When visiting Sarasota, I HIGHLY recommend Hotel Indigo. We will be back!

The hotel's very comfortable supportive beds are a reason to stay there alone if this is a priority. The decor is fun!-very clean, light filled, simple, and beachy. Good location near downtown shops, theaters, and restaurants and just a short walk across the street to the Van Wezel. Simple breakfast and occasionally nighttime music in the lobby. Stayed here to attend a funeral. Convenient to downtown Sarasota. Great Beer and Wine bar with very friendly staff. Food (we got a room service burger) was really good and the room was cozy and very comfortable. Really liked the layout and the amenities. Free parking. No pool but a hot and cold wading pool. Definitely different but we didn't have time to use it anyway. A bit more than a standard hotel but worth it.

This hotel was beautifully decorated, offered free parking, and offers a 24 hour shuttle to downtown and back. It is so close to everything. They also know how to appreciate teachers! The restaurant offered a Sunday brunch buffet that was impressive and delicious. All of the staff we came in contact with we're so friendly and helpful. Honestly, I've not been keeping up with writing reviews on places we've stayed lately. This hotel and its staff has made me feel the need to write this review, but I'll try to keep it fairly short. First of all the property itself is beautiful! Most people who know me know I'm an amateur design snob...lol. Great location, great customer service, rooms lovely and clean! My only complaint was too much noise because our room was right next to the elevator. This hotel is located a few blocks from the waterfront, and downtown Sarasota, The rooms are clean and spacious we requested a room in the 3rd floor to avoid the noise, but unfortunately the guest staying next room to us were loud and literally let their children bounce in the walls. I don't blame the hotel just the guesses that apparently decided to rent one room for a group of 7. The front desk staff were very helpful an friendly. They provided excellent customer service.

It's true that Hotel Indigo is owned by a big chain, but it's service was closer to that of a large inn. Going into this, I really wanted to love Hotel Indigo. I now find myself pretty disappointed.
