One third of the TV channels didn't work. The two TV sets were fine (we had a small suite) but the connections are either bad or their satellite dish is wrong or something. Neither night worked. Also Wi-Fi didn't work and we had three different devices. They would only work in the lobby. The staff knows this because he said well once you get to the office and connect, then you'll connect in the room. We connected alright but the signal was bad. None of the devices could get internet. Room was OK... Read more

Came here to enjoy Siesta Key and spend time with a friend. Not a new resort if that is what you're looking for, but we really liked it. This was a huge suite with full kitchen including a full size refrigerator, bedroom with dressing room area and nice bathroom. We grilled steaks by the pool one night and it was so nice not to have to get dressed for dinner. There is a Publix nearby so picking up a couple of steaks and bag of salad was quick. Very nice continental breakfast included. We w... Read more

The hotel was recently remodeled and WOW. Beautiful. Rooms are spacious and beds like sleeping on a cloud. CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN GREAT LOCATION without the traffic. I have stayed here before and each time never disappoints me. Thank you.

Not bad for the price. Location is nice, lots of birds singing and quiet area. A five minute drive to a well laid out public beach. But overall kind of "dingy". Some improvements have been made, but the place feels tired. The kitchen is not well equipped. Bring salt and pepper, a cutting board, and an extra pot or pan if you plan to stay more than a day or so.

We stayed 5 nights. Our suite was more than we expected for the price. Very homey. Clean. Very friendly staff. The breakfast could have had more variety. The pool area was beautiful. We would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to be in a quiet area close to the beach.

The accommodation had a kitchenette with a full sized fridge and a living area with TV and coffee table, and a separate room with the bedroom and bathroom. The outdoor pool was really nice with an 8 ft depth, too. Their breakfast was OK, with cereals, yogurt and waffle maker, but you had the kitchen in your room as well. It was clean, and a great accommodation. I would definitely return.

Overwhelming approach. Only had lunch. Great sevice and food and drink. A little pricy but fine dining. Many pool area and bars. Only saw rooms on line. Expensive. and had to pay to park even with lunch voucher. Glad we went and would go again. Also offeres free post cards. Have not seen that in many years!

Great location, about 5mins from the beach, service was good. The room had a kitchenette with a full sized fridge, living area with TV and coffee table and a sofa-bed, thee separate room had a bed and the bathroom. Continental breakfast was fine (waffles, pancakes, cereal, juices, coffee). The place is really quite. Our only issue was the hot water, no matter when we didn't have hot water. Pool look nice, but we didn't use it...

This place has everything. . . great location, excellent price and very nice service. The pool and fountains (maintained by Mike, who took care of us as if we were family) are clean and lovely. All rooms are suites with a full kitchen AND bathrooms have bathtubs too. A fifteen minute walk over a cool drawbridge takes you to Siesta Key beach. Publix and a gourmet grocery nearby as well.

It was nicely updated, still has some work to do on the landscaping. Little far to walk to the beach, but there is a great city park. it is on the main road to the island so is a convenient location and they serve breakfast.

Spent a couple days here for a short trip in siesta key. This aged location has been completely remodeled and updated. The size of the rooms were very surprising. Had living and kitchen area fully loaded with large fridge and a pullout couch. Spilt floor plan has Backroom with large king bed sporting new mattress and pillows. Felt better than a Hilton suite. 2 flat-screens with cable. Ceiling fans. Big bathroom. No smoking room was fresh and clean throughout. Price was very affordable. Free brea... Read more

Not a looker on the outside but then you don't sleep in the parking lot, do you? We stayed for 3 nights in room 120 (1 bedroom suite) which was in excellent shape and wonderfully spotless. It had central air instead of the former wall unit, complete kitchen, cable TV, a great bed/mattress and plenty of wall outlets for electronics and recharging. Daily housekeeping did a great job and took care of the dishes. The private patio with table and chairs was a nice touch which most of the other units... Read more

We stayed here for one night while heading for Captiva, when we drove into the parking lot we thought we had made a mistake. We were surprised at our room it was nice with 1 issue, the rugs need cleaning badly, we all went barefoot and our feet were so dirty the they were black. Pool area was nice, bathroom needed some minor repairs done. Needs were comfortable, living room area was fine. Would stay again if they clean the rugs.

After a long travel from Miami with 3 kids, we finally got to the hotel and find out that our room (booked 3 months ago) was already sold!!! They apologize for their overbooking practice and simply reallocate us in a different place 5 miles away from the beach, same category and price level. No refunds, no previous notice, no choices, no complain sheet available to fill in...just an apologize and a kick in our bottom!!! This will be my last time in the hotel and of course in this chain ever. ... Read more

The woman at the Chamber of Commerce told us that the rooms were all renovated and they were very nice. The price was good, so we booked for 2 nights. The room was more of a little suite with a kitchen and living room area. The furnishings were old and looked dirty. When I pulled back the sheets on the bed, the sheets had been slept in. They never changed the bedding. My husband called the office and they said they would be over with clean sheets. When I opened the door, a staff member ha... Read more

We arrived a little early than check in time and we were accommodated quickly. We stayed on the second floor. We were surprised on our great room. Very spacious and furnished. Nice, clean and with cool air condition unit with free wifi. We enjoyed our weekend stay there. It was quite pricey but of course considering it is a tourist spot. A+

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights to have a beach getaway. We originally booked another hotel who had a fire and we had to cancel and book this last minute. I am so glad we found this place and we will definitely be back. So close to the beach and restaurants and the the room was amazing. The breakfast was a lot more than expected and we were pleased. We also enjoyed the pool after getting back from the beach. Housekeeping and front desk staff were also great! The only negative th... Read more

This was our first time in Sarasota. We selected Hibiscus Suite due to close proximity to Siesta Key. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady. As the visit continued all the staff was very nice It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Our suite was nice and comfortable except for the sofa and chair. Too soft and low to the floor!! One other drawback was the TV reception was not very good and channels were limited. The breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and wou... Read more

We stay'd here for 2 nights. Te bedroom was perfect, de livingroom a little outdated. De couch was dirty do we didn't take a seat on it. But further than that is was a good stay. Breakfast is cosey, not very much variation but it was good. The pool is small but perfect for a night swim.

Hibiscus is a small, quiet hotel in a great location. Close to siesta key beach, close to great restaurants. We stayed in a suite which was perfect, spacious and clean, a bit dated, but we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely return, it's a good value

Hibiscus suites is located on Stickney Point Road relatively close to Midnight Pass and Beach Road and Siesta Key beach and about 4 miles from the restaurants and shops found on Ocean Blvd in the heart of Siesta Key. The one bedroom suite while outdated was relatively spacious with a full kitchen and large bedroom. The bed was very comfortable. It has a nice pool and staff were very friendly. Overall, it represents good value for the money.

Two friends and I stayed for three days and were extremely satisfied with our visit! Katelynn at the front desk was helpful and very friendly. The suite was clean and comfortable. We were close to the beach which made our trip even more satisfying. The pool was opened 24 hours, which made it convenient for us after long days. Our only complaint was the construction going on around the building, but it was minor and we were still able to get to our room without any problems.
