Nice stay at the Hilton. Centrally located to restaurants and businesses. Also close to supermarkets to stock up on snacks for the room. Nice view overlooking the marina. Rooms were clean and modern. The hotel also has a nice pool for the kids to swim.

My room is great. The bed is very good. Customer service does not exist at this hotel. I wanted foam pillows in my room instead of the down pillows. When I arrived in my room there were down pillows in the room. I called the front desk and the phone rang 87 times and no one picked up. So then I called housekeeping the phone rang a hundred and ten times no one picked up. Again I called the front desk and let it ring for 15 minutes until someone finally picked up. I facetiously ask them if there... Read more

Rooms are very nice, clean, decent size. The breakfast service was slow, which was a surprise on a weekday with business travelers. The buffet was a better choice and the selection was great. The pool is very nice and the drinks at the Dali bar are worth a stop in. I was able to get some documents printed for work that was very helpful, but could not use GoToMyPC, which would have been especially helpful.

Worst experience ever as a HH member thanks to the very discourteous and disrespectful behavior and welcome by the front desk person (short girl with long curly hair) - she not only was significantly pained by the experience of explaining to me why I was upgraded, it was actually done with lot of distatste when I asked her a few questions. To make matters worse, during my checkout, I requested an extended check out from 11 to 1 - she landed up picking up the phone and simply would not extend it ... Read more

Hilton hotels rarely fail to provide the quality they commit to deliver, and the staff & service in St. Petersburg was excellent (better than more high end places I've stayed). The building and overall feel is older, and the price seems more about location and proximity. Hard to find fault in that, but location doesn't merit marks for the hotel itself in my book.

My stay overall was good, clean, good/solid breakfast, snacks and executive lounge. But if you end up being here on business and you have an adjoining door, keep in mind they are not insulated. Which means you can hear even a cough in the room next door. And if you have loud neighbors that means you are up as long as they are up, so if you have to go to work early, this can be problematic. Be sure to ask for a room without an adjoining door to have some peace and sleep.
