Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront
32 Avenida Menendez, Saint Augustine, FL US 32084

This St. Augustine hotel`s intimate size and feel are reminiscent of a boutique hotel, and yet it offers the extensive services and facilities that are usually found only in much larger St. Augustine hotels. The charming, vibrant Spanish Colonial Period structure consists of a ``hollow square`` design, surrounded by 19 different buildings set around an inner courtyard and connected by an interior corridor. The buildings were inspired by the Second Spanish Colonial historic period, with wooden balconies, cedar-shake and tile roofs, with different elevations and colors that allow it to blend in with its surroundings. Virtually all of the rooms at our Hilton St. Augustine, Florida hotel offer stunning views of Matanzas Bay or the city of St. Augustine`s historic district.

Horse drawn carriages and the Historic Trolley transport visitors from our hotel in St. Augustine, FL through the streets of the old city. Historical points of interest include the Spanish Colonial Castillo de San Marco National Monument, dating from 1672, the original Government House and the magnificent Victorian structures of the period built by Henry Flagler including Flagler College formerly his grand hotel..

The St. Augustine, Florida hotel`s facilities include an outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, business center, concierge service and a guest laundry and valet service. The Menendez and Ponce rooms, 800 square feet each or 1600 square feet when combined, can accommodate meetings of up to 125 people or of banquets up to 100. The 250 square foot Board Room can accommodate 12 and offers views of the bay.

The Aviles restaurant and Lounge within the Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront hotel features creative global cuisine with touches from the region surrounding Aviles, the sister city of St. Augustine in Spain. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and includes an outdoor dining area. ``Experience History from St. Augustine`s Point of View``. Travel should take you places!

Much nicer than most hotels in the area, great value, location cant be beat. People very nice...Jenna at the front desk went out of her way for us. It would be impossible to have a better experience anywhere in the area.

Right where you want to be. You can walk to hundreds of shops and restaurants, Lightner Museum, Flagler College, Castillo de San Marcos, Wax museum, the Old Jail, the marina to take a scenic cruise, or cross the street for a horse-drawn carriage ride-the list goes on and on. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we had a very good dinner at the hotel one night. Several friends had recommended it, and we were glad to have taken their advice. We had free Wi-Fi via our Hilton membership, so ... Read more

1st time staying @ the Hilton and did not have a good experience. 1st night AC did not work. 2nd day advise front desk (upon leaving for the day) came back and the ac was working but a puddle of water was in the room due to leakage. Notified front desk, someone fixed it (while I was in my room) then I went to the restaurant came back up and more leakage everywhere. I called front desk again and they moved my room. Front desk advised me that my daily parking charge will be removed for the inco... Read more

Had a very pleasant stay without any problems. Location was great and could walk to many of the attractions and restaurants! The front desk provided trolley map and where we could purchase tickets. Check in and out went without any problems.

Daughter calls us on Sunday and says she is getting married Wednesday in St. Augustine. From two states away we gotta scramble. This Hilton property is in the nation's oldest city, overlooking the sailboat anchorage and the Bridge of Lions. As our plans evolve, it turns out our daughter and son will be staying with us. Wife had originally booked a room with two queens. This was after getting disconnected from Hilton reservations three times. Fourth call was to the front desk and Collee... Read more

We stayed here basically for the location and were very pleased with that and with the staff. from the time we arrived, we were a couple of hours early but were registered and in our room within a matter of minutes. The front desk and the captians were great and so friendly and helpful with any and everything we needed during our stay. Will be staying here again, the people here have to be one of the reasons Hilton has such a great reputation, they made this an even better trip....Thanks

This hotel is in the very best location for visiting all historic sights and for walking the streets for shops/restaurants. We parked our car at the hotel and never used it again. If you get a room with a balcony you will have a view of the bay- spectacular! The hotel also has a pool- great for relaxing after a day of walking and sightseeing. Very quaint like separate historic buildings, but really an upgraded high end hotel with all the amenities you could want. I will definitely recommend... Read more

Perfect location to shops, attractions and dining. Exceptional staff that made breakfast, check-in/out fun and a breeze. Wonderful accommodations, loved the balcony...all around, a perfect place to stay.

This hotel could not be any more convenient to all of the great things that St. Augustine has to offer; however, the hotel staff is just rude, crass, and have a major attitude problem. Do not even attempt to ask for a late-checkout even as a Gold member, these sharks will want to charge you $75 for that extra hour. Also, beware of some rooms near the laundry facilities, they run the washers at all times including at night and your room/bathroom will tremble and shake from the washing machines.

An unusual hotel. Not your typical Hilton. Built in the style of the town. Room and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is also very centrally located. You can walk anywhere if you want.

Way to overpriced for a broken down hotel. Pool was nasty and dirty. The staff was overwhelmed. Would rather pitch a tent on the sidewalk then pay to stay there again. The floors were dirty and the furniture was dented, chipped and just overall depressing. For the cost you should at least have the feeling of comfort not dread.

Took two relatives and a friend to see St. Augustine. Had passed this hotel before on the trolley tour and decided to give it a try this time. It was wonderful! The location could not be better for all the sightseeing. The staff was wonderful and very helpful to answer all our questions and gave us great recommendation for dining. Would definitely choose this hotel to stay in when we return again.

We had a wonderful five day stay here at the beginning of the month for my sisters wedding. We could not have loved the location more! The location and view are unbeatable. The kids had fun in the pool and we loved sitting out on our balcony to have breakfast. Many of the staff members including Crystal, Josh and Colleen went out of their way to make our stay special. They corrected any issues we had and we we loved the fact that they remembered us each day. A few tips: 1. Breakfast at the hote... Read more

This is the first review I have ever written. Let me start by thanking the wonderful people who make this hotel feel like a home away from home. Josh, Crystal , and Robert (manager) at the front desk, Matt and Tom the valet team, and a most special heartfelt thanks to Robert (housekeeping) who's team found a very valuable item that we accidentally left in our room after we checked out. They made sure it got back to us quickly and we couldn't be more thankful. There are many more who had a ... Read more
