Stayed here as part of a road trip from Texas. Hotel was clean. Nice little pool. Great location next to beach. Would recommend. We didn't book but managed to get a room for a couple of nights. Used the complimentary internet access which was suitable for single Netflix stream.

St Augustine is amazing, but this location adds the beautiful beach to the wonderful tourist-friendly city sites. Take the tourist trolley to get on and off at any site you like. I recommend the Ligchtner (sp?) Museum and the "fountain of youth", minimally the street that leads to it with the lovely Spanish Moss covered trees. Also lovely little Greek/Polish restaurant up a small street across the street from the city marina.

Blood of unknown nature found on sheet and wash towel . No response until the following morning. Dresser drawers had unknown substance in all three drawers. Drain in bath room sink was very very slow and shower head was not working properly. Put in complaint to the home office when I arrived back home and still have not received a reply.

I reserved the king suite with balcony overlooking the beach. We stayed 2 nights. The first night I wanted to use the hot tub whirlpool tub in our room. I turned on the jets all kind of broken up brown slim my stuff came flying out the jets, and it smelled like sewage. The bed was really hard woke with back ache. and the room had bugs looked like sand fleas. It was a great beach to visit. Sincerely Linda Root

Nice, clean Hotel with easy access to the beach...about 200 yard walk. There aren't a lot of hotels on St. Augustine Beach but this Hampton Inn is a great option. Good breakfast and nice pool. Great restaurants within walking distance and a fishing pier adjacent to the property.

The front desk and staff were very helpful and friendly and responded quickly to requests. The manager of the grounds did a good job and kept everything cleaned up and neat. It was a great location on the beach. There were plenty of things to do and places to eat within walking distance. Rooms were fine. The free breakfast was sub-par in comparison to other Hamptons we have been to.

Great location right on the beach. There aren't many hotels on beach side that we could see so this was very nice. Room was great. Enjoyed the free breakfast, eggs could've been better but everything else was good. Nice pool and easy access to the beach too. Hotel has free wifi and bottled water too.

Although the weather was bad, our stay enjoyable. My only complaint is the quality of the complimentary sucked. The room is very modern, well kept and clean. The staff was great. If you want a perfect stay, skip eating breakfast there, I'm not one who normally complains about "free" food, but it was truly disgusting.

Be VERY cautious if you have more than 4 people to a room and request a roll away. We made a reservation a week ahead of time and were told for 2 adults and 3 teenagers we could easily fit in a room with 2 queen beds and a roll away. Might be a bit tight, but doable. So we booked a room with 2 queens and a roll away for 4 nights. After traveling 8.5 hours of a 10 hour trip we call to confirm our reservation and our roll away, and what to our amazement we were told, we would NOT have a roll away,... Read more

For the 4 or 5 times over the last few years that we have stayed with this Hampton Inn we have had nothing but the best and friendliest of service. All of the staff from all stays have been on top of their game each and every time. This place has a great location on the beach and is close enough to either bridge to get to either part of the city (old and new). It has been the perfect stay getaway for us.

Poor quality rooms, slightly run-down hallways. Not worth the price they charge per night. The room itself had plain-jane furniture that was getting a bit dated. Checking into a hotel should never take 1 hour if you are the only person in line. After traveling all day the last thing you want is to be held up a the front counter. Hot tub not working at a vacation hotel seem ridiculous and the maintenance is not available/went home is not the answer if there is 100 % satisfaction. We stayed at this hotel for 5 days for a wedding in Saint Augustine in a water front suite with 2 queen beds. The hotel is located right on the beach, but be aware it is apx 100 yards from the hotel lobby to the waters edge. You will do some walking. The beach is huge and you will not feel closed in. There is a beach rental company right at the back side of the property that rents chairs and umbrellas (nice touch). The pool and hot tub were not over filled at any time. The morning breakfast was ... Read more

We stayed one night and then decided to stay another night. Although we had to change rooms after the first night because it was a Friday night we didn't mind. Beverly was very accommodating to us and our needs. This hotel is within walking distance to the beach. You can see the water from the balconies but not much of the view of the sandy beach. It is well worth the walk to the beautiful beach! It is a great location with a choice of restaurants, some within walking distance.

Excellent location right on St. Augustine Beach! The restaurant across the street had excellent, well-priced food and drinks. The pool and hot tub were clean and maintained. The room was spacious and the beds were super comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was acceptable for the price (free).

Microwaves & refrigerators in the rooms. We had an oceanfront room with a great view. This hotel has completely changed my subpar feelings towards Hampton Inns. It was SO nice. Perfect location, directly on the beach. Nice looking pool & hot tub. The sand was so soft with lots of sea shells. Nearby was a Publix grocery store & restaurants as cheap as $1 slice pizza. Great views. I cannot imagine staying at a better place on the beach. My diamond member status was acknowledged.

This hotel is in a beautiful location on the beach and just across the street from several great restaurants. The hotel amenities were great and the staff was uniformly kind and welcoming. We had an issue with our room but the management resolved it beyond any expectation that we had. We will return again and I strongly recommend this hotel.

We had our Marine Corps reunion there and everything was fantastic until hurricane Matthew hit. Unfortunately our reunion was cut short, but maybe we will be back. Everything was GREAT!!!!! Looking forward to returning to St Augustine....

We made our reservations many months before our stay. We reserved an oceanfront suite room and when we arrived we were put in a normal size room with a king bed. The room is so small we couldn't even unpack and had to live out of a suitcase for six days. This is all unacceptable and if corporate can't make phone reservations and communicate them to the front desk that is not fair to the paying customer. It made R stay miserable will not return!!

Fantastic location. Staff very nice. Housekeeping less than adequate for a week long stay. Breakfast well managed clean and menu changes. Great overall for beach front hotel. If you want ocean view ask for top floor

I typically stay here every year (or at least as often as I can afford to come). I return to this location mostly because of familiarity but also because I really enjoy all the hotel has to offer. Typically, the only places I've run into hiccups involve checking in. We enjoyed this stay and can only complain about issues that occurred during check in which could be easy fixes for management. As a guest, I don't ask or expect much--mostly just that I am not bothered (by noise, issues, drama) wh... Read more

I will start by saying its in a quiet spot, on a good stretch of beach with little to no cars, which I really liked. The room was the balcony suite again, I really really liked it. the rest of the hotel could use a good cleaning, but I was ok. I really liked the staff, and the room! Breakfast was not great most mornings, but....its free kind of.

We chose to stay at this location for 1 night as we are Hilton Honors Elite members and wanted to enjoy an oceanfront room while we were in town. After checking in we left to go out on the town, we got back about 8 pm at night and as we were walking through the double doors of the hotel a large Black Cat jumped out in front of me and pounced down to the floor still doing what a cat would do wanting to explore and brush up against legs and feet. I was terrified because, I'm not fond of cats and h... Read more
