Older hotel in a resort community. The room was clean, updated, had a fridge and a balcony with a water view. There are multiple pools and hot tubs in the community and you have access to them all. We drove to the better pool. The maintenance guy by our room told us where to go and park. It was a cold day and we enjoyed a couple hours going between pool and the hot tub. At night we went to a local restaurant called Beanies. Good reuben sandwiches, chicken wings and beers (inexpensive, cheap). Th... Read more

The room was okay. The location, across the street from Tampa Bay, had the most beautiful sunsets. Able to walk to restaurants. Really a perfect area. Four issues - first, my room was not ready when I got there and I got there way past check-in; second, it was virtually impossible to use my cellphone unless I sat outside my room and still the reception was iffy; third, I had very limited access to the internet. Very disappointing. Fourth, when I checked out, I had to pay an extra fee becau... Read more

We stayed here while visiting family nearby -- the three bedroom villa was perfect for 2 adults and 3 teens. We really enjoyed having the extra space staying in the villas. The balcony view over the marina is beautiful. We didn't dine at the restaurant this time, but in the past have found the food to be good, not great; the restaurant can be loud. Our villa was close to the elevator and one could hear it running throughout the night on the first floor. Two bedrooms were on the second floor an... Read more

Traveled in August 2015 with family. Nice quiet place, located between Tampa and Sarasota. Building and rooms were old but maintained. our room is upstairs and have a balcony over looking the river/delta in the back of the property. Not located on the beach. Close walk across the street and parking to the beach. Can't swim in the beach adjacent to the property due to red algae. Restaurants nearby are good. Sport rental onside. Da Best Fish and Chip food stand (name?) located outside the property... Read more

This was our 3rd year of staying at the Inn and very much love the setting, workout area, basketball court, restaurants and the peace and quiet and will come back next year. We noticed a few items this year that need attention: 1). When we opened door to dishwasher whole Dishwasher came out of opening. Checked and no screws securing to countertop 2.) Garbage can wall dried food...my wife tried to clean some but still noticable. 3.). Have never seen a cockroach in 3 years but killed 2 this ye... Read more

This is an outstanding facility, on the waterfront. Alex the manager made our stay! Rooms are huge and well furnished, food is good, amenities complete. Two pools, a few bars, an outdoor spa, a good place for kayaking, plenty of peace. We will definitely be back.

Arrived after dark and couldn't find reception. Not clear as the resort is split in two. Once located check in was easy and helpful. Room nice with a sea view/ water view. Parking close to room. Room ok - large dead moth on floor so housekeeping average. Comfy beds but curtains do not close properly and we couldn't work out how to turn the outside light off so room quite light all night. Nice to look at water view (across access road) whilst having coffee in bed first thing in the morning. Quiet... Read more

We like it here because it is far from the hustle and bustle and traffic of the gulf front beaches. A nice little resort tucked away in a fairly rural area. It's on a beautiful little peninsula on Tampa Bay. Great sunsets over the St Pete bridge. Marina with charter fishing with Capt Oliver (Tampa Bay fishing). A restaurant facing the sunset and a bar on the sound. Dolphins and manatees here and there. Short fishing pier, no license required. Three pools (one is salt water) and a private beach. ... This place has a wide open view of Tampa Bay, from either inside the restaurant or outside tables by the Tiki Bar. Service is on the slow side if you are in a hurry, but is fine if you are not. Their kitchen is a considerable distance from the tables. Your server will be running back an forth like crazy, but it's just too far away to please everyone. Food is just average, and a little overpriced, but we keep coming back because it's close to our house and we love the view. Not that we come ... Read more

Only thing I didn't care for is that there was no where to plug my phone in next to the bed. Other than that is was great. I will come back for a family vacation and consider staying there again. I wasn't able to see the outside because it was dark and I left before the sun came up but I'm sure it's as beautiful as the room.
