We were a group of 9 people (11th to the 15th of April). Everything went well until I asked the front desk to change some information to my invoice/gest folio (‚??I just wanted one whole concept and the total‚??), the guy at the from desk did not have a clue how to do it, then the Office Mgr came, Derek Deo, and his answer was ‚??cannot do that‚??. I told him that when I travel I always ask and get what I was explaining to him. Terrible customer service & poor initiative! The crazy thing is that... Read more

This hotel is quiet and clearly caters to business clientele. However it was the perfect location for us since we were visiting family in Plantation. You definitely need a car to get around as there isn't anything within walking distance. It is a short drive from a ton of restaurants and shopping. Free parking in the FLL is great and a rare find. They serve Starbucks onsite which is great for the early morning caffeine fix. We didn't get to Bin 595 and the club lounge is closed over the weeken... Read more

Great place to stay on business. The staff provided an exceptionally warm welcome at check-in. I was pleased with the accommodations and found the service at the lounge to be very good. Plenty of restaurants nearby and some in walking distance.

I stayed here on a business trip to Ft. Lauderdale. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful after a snafu on my reservation. The rooms were quite nice, and I loved the Aveda products in the bathroom. I ate at the bar, and the food and service were lovely. I would stay here again.

I had an event to attend mid-day in the area and I took the opportunity to schedule a short getaway with my husband to the Renaissance. While I was at the event he could enjoy the amenities. The hotel is located west of the beaches so I didn't expect great views or beach side access, but as a Renaissance I knew there would be a standard of quality. I booked on Booking.com and they accommodated our request for early check in. Check-in went quickly and the ladies at the front desk were very we... Read more

Was a one night stop before our flight home after a trip around the state. Beautiful hotel, very modern. On the pricey side, however it was our last night and wanted to treat the family to a lavish hotel! Probably one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept on and simply didn't want to wake up in the morning! We were quite high up, however the sea views were breathtaking. Great tentative staff who were extremely friendly upon arrival and checkout!

The Renaissance hotel ranks as one of the best hotels I've personally had the pleasure of staying at. I had a wonderful weekend, attending a wedding venue here. The hotel is beautiful, the music is good and the service is excellent! Every single staff member was warm, friendly and hospitable. However I'd particularly like to give a mention to Edward, Toni, Sahsa and Sim... Brand new bed- soft and very comfortable. (see negative for information on the first night) Linens were luxurious. Hospitality of the staff from front desk to restaurant was all very helpful, warm and wonderful. Free parking, plenty of space. Pool was clean, warm. Pool towels provided at the pool so you don... The people are the best part of the Renaissance. David in the Club lounge is awesome. He always makes awesome recommendations and welcomes us home whenever we visit. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bartender is the best. She always has my drink ready before I even get to the bar. LOVE HER!!!

Stayed here for two days for meetings in Plantation. About a 40 minute drive from Miami airport, fairly easy access from the Turnpike. Check in was easy. Stayed in 915 on the club floor. Room was bright and spacious, with morning sun and a view of surrounding lake and swimming pool. Service was very solicitous though the food in the club lounge was poor. No free alcohol.

Stayed at this hotel for business. Nice rooms that were clean and had all you need. Beds are good and enough pillows to choose from. Breakfast is simple but more than enough. All staff was extremely nice to everybody. No issue or question was a problem to solve. Location is good if you need to be on business in the area for the other reasons I would not known since the beaches and city are further away. Mall is close within 15min. Would stay again when needed To be in the region.

The lobby area was stylish and while I didn't use the restaurant/bar it looked inviting. I was on the executive floor and my room was fine. I don't remember anything wrong or outstanding. I used the executive lounge for breakfast in the morning and was pleasantly surprised to find hot eggs; not something I usually find in such lounges. Overall, for a business trip, it was good va... The hotel is just a short trip from the airport. The staff is very friendly and more than willing to assist you with hotel information, local places to eat, and directions. One night I was just not feeling like going out to find a place to eat and decided to have diner in the Bin 595 restaurant. I had seen a dish online that was a seafood pasta meal and it sounded great. I stayed here for 2 days on a quick business trip in Plantation. The facade is really good and I didnt get any other than usual customer service. The room was nice with a good view (see the attached pics). The bathroom was neat and the bed was comfortable. Overall a fine stay! The price I paid for the room I feel was on the higher side, I know you can get a better hotel experience for that price and this is the reason my rating will not exceed 3/5.
