The staff at this hotel is top notch. We have come to really appreciate Marriott's lower-tier brands, and find they offer excellent value. Breakfast area is a bit cramped, but the staff makes it work. Hotel furnishings all felt new.

This Hotel is listed as "pet friendly" but the NON-REFUNDABLE CLEANING FEE is $100. That's more than the room actually cost for the night. Also be warned that these are one queen bed rooms only. No double, no king. I wasn't expecting that. It's clean and near shopping/food. Nice staff...but that fee totally threw me off and I won't be staying at a TownePlace ever again.

Came to spend some time in Pensacola on spring break. Stayed on points as cost was same as per night and did not need to be on the beach. The location was fine. Amenities were easy to find. Property was good/average. The breakfast area was awkward and way too small. Could not have family of 3 eat together for three mornings. Pool was not open but was in really shady area and needed cleaning. I prefer suites when traveling with family and this was fine.We were upgraded to one bedroom - thanks sta... Read more

We stayed just over a week ago for a long weekend. We stayed there because we brought our dogs and the reviews seemed to be good. The hotel was clean, the dog walking area was fine other than the dog owners not picking up after their dogs. The room had a broken fan in the bathroom and the outlet for the coffeemaker didn't work. Nothing major. It was quiet except for a dog down the hallway that barked, apparently was left alone. The few times I went into the lobby area, I saw no one at the front ... Read more

Traveling from DFW, TX to Fl with 2 bullmastiffs and a cat. We always worry what kind of hotel will let us stay with our pups. They are huge dogs but very well behaved. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was kind of small but had lots of closet space. The bathroom and kitchen areas were clean, well stocked, and all of the equipment worked.

While in town to tour UWF we had a great stay. Very clean and comfy beds. Lots of storage for everyone's things so no tripping over stuff. Shower and bathroom very roomy with a full closet as well. The Queen studio had a pull out that was also comfy, and the kitchenette was a great addition with a stove, oven, sink and full fridge. I didn't want to leave. My daughter said she would live there instead of a dorm. Also the hot breakfast was just a perfect start. They kept everything clean and nev... Read more

I travel for a living but found this place on points for a few nights while waiting on my house to close on a new construction. The pet fee is comparable to any other hotel in a similar fashion for what you pay. The rooms are 145 a night while I was there. I paid 75 for the week, not sure if price may have changed or not. The breakfast area is a little small and is odd I agree with the rest of everyone who mentioned that. The entrance is odd as well have a secured door which you can simply walk... Read more

This hotel is located just off I10 and near several decent restaurants within walking distance. Typical Marriott hotel with good rooms, pleasant staff. The room was nice size with kitchenette and comfortable bed. Cannot comment on the free breakfast bc we went to The Egg and I for breakfast.

Anyone who's searching for a pleasant stay at a professional establishment, don't stay at this hotel for the following reasons: - The rooms were smelly. The cleaning crew never put fresh sheets on the bed. Apparently, you have to ask for a room cleaning. I just thought it was standard. - The breakfast was horrible. During a 7+ day stay, they served the exact same thing everyday. I felt like they were just reheating and serving me the previous day's leftovers. - Hotel management (Johanna and G... Read more

My wife and our two children booked a two bedroom suite. We had heard good things about this hotel. To our dismay our room smelled like urine and there was hair in the bathtub. In addition, there was a large commercial floor dryer left on the table in our room. I called the front desk and spoke with Christian about the dryer. He promptly arrived to our room and apologized for the equipment that had been left there. We politely mentioned the urine odor. His response was that he did not smell anyt... Read more

Stayed recently on a stopover to Louisiana. Keys and room were ready upon arrival. Received a room close to the elevator, as requested. The young lady who checked us in was friendly and professional. She gave us directions to a local pizza place, stating, "that's where I would go". That was all we needed to hear. True to her word, she was spot on. Food was great. Our room was very clean and well apportioned.Bed was comfortable.Didn't get up in time for free breakfast, but was able to take advanta... Read more

The worst night(s) of sleep I've ever had. The sheets kept popping off the bed, the AC would come on full blast or not at all, the mattress was the worst I've ever slept on...we checked out this morning and I feel like I need a nap. The customer service was great; we ended up spending two nights of our reservation with family instead and the general manager called to make sure we were still staying and hadn't forgotten to check out. I just wish the quality of the room and kitchenette had been ni... Read more

We decided to stay a few days in Pensacola on our way home. This property came highly recommended by a family member who stayed here with his dog. This hotel is an easy drive to the beach and near some really good restaurants and shopping. GG and the staff are super nice and meet every request we made with a smile even helping me chase down my puppy when she got off her leash in the lobby. 5 stars!

Nice place to stay in Pensacola. Great price. We had a "studio" Queen room and it was nice for a 3 night stay. Complete kitchen including a large refrigerator. Nice size bathroom and 2 closets. Chair, ottoman, desk and desk chair. Nice size pool and quiet location. Recommended.

Safe, clean and pet friendly. Got in late. Front desk was fast and friendly getting us up to our room. Nice quiet night. Plenty of good food for breakfast . Host had that southern charm. Very sweet. On our way put the lady at the front desk gave us doggy paw cleaners. Will stay here on our way to Jacksonville.
