The lobby, the room and the pool was very nice. The pool was outdoor but it was heated so we really enjoyed it. Thought the neighboorhood was a little "trashy" but for one night driving trough it was fine. The wifi was slow! We couldn't use it at all.

I stay at this hotel for three nights while visiting my son. It is located a block from the Interstate and on a busy highway. There is quite a bit of traffic and sometimes it was tough getting out of the parking lot. There are plenty of restaurants and stores that are close. It is about a 15 minute drive from downtown Pensacola. Every night I was there I saw large tour buses parked overnight. I was concerned that I was in for a sleepiness night but the hotel was quiet. When I arrived the pers... Read more

Coming back from Disney World, we planned to stay in Tallahassee. To our amazement and dismay, every hotel there was sold out -- and if you COULD have found a room, the going rate was nearly $400! It was college graduation weekend and the hotels were gouging for all they were worth! So, having no choice, we drove 190 miles west to Pensacola and found this Holiday Inn after that exhausting nighttime drive. We got a room immediately and it was made even better because we were so tired. Nice r... Read more

Felt very welcomed and were helped tremendously about where to eat at the front desk. Toreous and Fanyshia were great. Right off IH10 and easy access to get around Pensacola. Wish the $8.99 breakfast was included in the price.

I recently stayed here while in Pensacola on business. It's your typical Holiday Inn. Didn't really have any complaints (except that I was surprised that they didn't have free coffee and tea in the lobby all day). I would just say that there are other hotels in the same area that I have stayed at that are just as nice, provide equal or better service, and give you a free breakfast for either the same or even more affordable rate.

We chose this Holiday Inn for a recent road trip in which we wanted to make an overnight stay in Pensacola, and we wanted to use IHG points. The property is convenient in that it's right next to I-10, but beware it's not easy to get INTO the property due to a concrete curb that runs for the entire block in front of it, so you can only turn into it if you're driving SOUTH on Davis Hwy. If you're coming from I-10, you'll need to drive north until you can make a U-turn and come back south down... Read more

The Holiday Inn Pensacola N Davis Hwy - The rooms are large, and clean. They offer a breakfast which is very nice to start your day (6:00AM - Start time). They have a small pool and work out room out back which is open 24/7. I found the people who work there very nice in helping you out even at all hours, since I checked in at 12:30 AM and the night person was very helpful and informative on my questions. The rooms are mid range. I would consider staying there again, it fit my needs and wan... Read more

The cons: this hotel needs maintenance. Nothing major, just minor and inconveniencing. The wifi was quite unstable. Again, just annoying. But if we'd had significant business to get done online it would have been beyond annoying. The staff was very pleasant and courteous, but was having trouble with the registration/computer system; at least twice our room keys got deactivated because of confusion with our reservations. The pros: the staff was very courteous and promptly fixed the key prob... Read more

We stayed here for three nights while visiting with friends in Pensacola. No complaints. Wi-fi was fine for us. Beds, linens, and towels were clean and all as they should have been. The staff we dealt with were pleasant. Parking was easy. No noise issues. Hot water was plentiful. There is a Denny's across the street that has a wonderful breakfast. We didn't try the restaurant in the hotel because the Denny's breakfast was so good! Our only small complaint is that our room was suppose... Read more

It was a fantastic stay at this Holiday Inn. Besides the warm pool, spacious and clean room. The staff did everything to make our stay an enjoyable one. Shout out to Toreous for going above and beyond and exceeding all expectations. He is an example of true hospitality.

When we arrived, we were originally booked at another hotel, but the hotel was not satisfactory. We went to the Holiday Inn, and they were able to accommodate us for both of the nights that we needed. Mr. Toreous Hall went above and beyond to assist us and was very pleasant to us for our entire stay. He was friendly and professional.

Stayed here for one night and all the staff was very friendly. Beds were very comfy and the room felt clean. Even the sofa pull out bed was comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good but even the staff there was very nice and asked us before closing down everything.

We stayed at this location for 5 days. The staff were friendly the parking lot was secure and it was clean from the outside to the inside. The house keeping staff greeted us every time we saw them. We visited the beach, zoo and aviation museum. This hotel was a quick drive to each of these locations.(approx 20 mins). Restaurants and entertainment is close for the kids.(bowling chuck e cheese) Thanks. We will be back!

The beds are very comfortable, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Fast food restaurants are very close. The location is great . They have a bar and restaurant down stairs called Kems. But if you don't want to go downstairs they will deliver it to your room. The waffle house is next door to the hotel as well. The food is delicious. We visit at least 2x a year.

This is a big hotel with lots of amenities. The staff was very professional and nice. The location of the hotel isn't too bad either. But the the big plus is that you have a fully stocked bar and grill on the first floor next to the lobby. The bar staff are pretty cool people as well. There was one noteworthy event that occurred though. Upon me arriving downstairs to try out the bar, there was a highly intoxicated female individual sitting at the bar(and no, she wasn't attractive). This individu... Read more

They were awful the place was so load with kids we could not get any sleep and when we told the front desk we were not even compensated for our night of sleeplessness I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone especially for the prices they charge you should at least get a good nights sleep

I just hosted a Navy Reunion for 52 people at this property. Absolutely fantastic. Staff was nothing short of amazing. Restaurant, Bar, Banquet, Front Desk, everyone was Outstanding. Cameron Hill the Hotel Sales Director delivered above and beyond what I expected. Absolutely Great.

Would have rated the hotel Good overall but that is not an option when selecting a rating. Hotel staff friendly at check-in, hotel/room clean & room had all necessary amenities. Pool small and in need of some refurbishment around the side but still welcome after a long day driving. Gym really quite old & in need of updating but equipment worked and we were glad we had it there to use. We had a drink at the bar which was welcoming & actually ate at Kems as we were unable to get a table at a nearb... Read more

We were passing through on our way through to Texas. It was in a good location and near the essentials. The rooms were very clean and nice. Would have loved to have breakfast included. The only annoyance was the bathroom vanity had this weird curve outward that made using the sink difficult. Probably not the best choice if you have a lot of little people with you. Or bring a stool ;)

Ended up at this hotel from Central Florida thinking the worst would happen in Central Florida. The staff at this Holiday Inn was professional, friendly, helpful, they knew we were stressed out, the rooms were comft, large. The housekeeping and maintenance staff top notch.. Great location off of I-10. Close to Great attractions. The coffee was outstanding every morning.

Related to a business trip to area, needed accommodations for several nights. Not a pleasant drive from airport due to heavy traffic and many stop lights. Much better when coming in from I 10. Seems to be a newer hotel, nice room layouts and fairly quiet. Meaning noise from new construction next door.. this relates to daylight hours only. Staff is friendly and accommodating as well. Restaurant has some good meals. Not Gourmet, but good. Will be back when in Pensacola area.

An older hotel, that is beginning to show some signs of age and wear. Many of the long time personnel have left, and I fear, so has the charm and personal style that made this hotel once so outstanding. This was a hotel that remembered its quests by name and by requested accomadation. Not now. Knew things were different when the front desk started to recommend restaurants in the area...an old shell game(the front desk people are rewarded by the restaurants for steering people to them) that demea... I stayed here twice, once with my family when we came to tour UWF and once alone when my son stayed overnight at the college for orientation. Its pretty close to UWF and is a really nice hotel. We went in the pool and the hot tub, enjoyed both! We ate dinner at the restaurant in the hotel and everyone liked their meal. We also had a drink in the bar which was very good! No complaints at all! I chose to come back when I was staying alone because I felt very safe staying here!

My stay with this hotel is always refreshing and fantastic. This time though, we were very shocked to find that our room didn't have a microwave. We called down stairs to see if it was maybe an oversight. They said they no longer do microwaves, you have to come downstairs to use theirs. Considering the fact that we stay for several days at a time we definitely need a microwave. I suspect it is probably to get people to by from their restaurant" KEMS". However that doesn't necessarily mean t... Read more

Nice hotel. The only complaint or thing that everyone needs to be aware of is how difficult it is to get in and out - since you turn right into it and out of it. No issues at all. People working there seem very nice.
