This hotel has been our midway stop from Texas to Orlando since 1994. The staff has ALWAYS been extremely helpful and gone out of their way to make sure we were provided with what we needed. Our recent visit, I screwed up our reservation and only reserved 1 room. The manager, Kiyomi Whittier went out of her way to help us and make sure we were taken care of. The rooms are nice, even though the hotel is starting to show it's age. Get a 4th floor or higher Gulf view, it's amazing. The beach is 100... Read more

As most of us have come to expect of the Hampton Inn brand, the Hampton Pensacola Beach is solidly competent in all of the most important areas: cleanliness, efficiency of service and comfortable bedding. The well-attended breakfast is always challenging to keep fresh, but the staff here makes it happen. Of course, being right on the expansive white sand beach of Santa Rosa Island and just a quick walk from several restaurants and shops doesn't hurt. A real vacation stop with no worries!

Had a great stay, rooms were nice and staff friendly and helpful. 4 th floor view is wonderful. Grandsons loved the soft white beach. Good location, several good restaurants in walking distance. Complimentary breakfast was very good. The drive along the natural seashore was exciting for our grandkids, they had never seen a beach without hotels. Planning more stays here in the future.

Excellent service by all staff, kind, considerate and genuinely engaged. Location on the beach with safe, secure access to the Gulf, two great pools and direct access to adjoining Hilton amenities were added plus! If you need a place to take young children this would be an excellent candidate. Breakfast was very good; fresh fruit, waffles assorted cereals; choice eggs and meats were all great for variety. Food quality was excellent!

This Gulf View room at the Hampton Inn on Pensacola Beach is a ridiculous joke. Glad 'extra' money was paid for it. I'm being sarcastic! I'm absolutely livid! Who charges $1500.00 for five days for a first floor room, right by the pool and loud music with no balcony with the so called 'gulf view' being via a window and the view is constructed! Complete rip off!. Seriously people, don't waste your time. It's a miserable experience. Also, housekeeping leaves post notes, yes, you read right, post-... Read more

We used a 3rd party booking site, and had about 12 phonically trying to correct dates and rooms, totally NOT the hotels fault, but save yourself the headache and book directly through the hotel. The Hotel was clean, front desk service was great. Room was dirty, but it was corrected within minutes. Beach was a little rough for younger kids, tons of shells and a 2 foot drop off. Breakfast was large, but lacked protein options. Pools were great. Overall a good option for a few nights.

Having lived in and around Pensacola most of my life, the beach has little appeal. My stay at Hampton Inn, Pensacola Beach in June 2016 was very special, not because of Pensacola Beach, but because Hampton Inn re-established the expectations of the destination. The staff was so very welcoming and warm, as was the weather. Typically, beach access properties lack the level of refinement that urban properties possess. This property was no exception. However, the condition of the property was outsta... Read more

The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is awesome. Not your average donut / breakfast cereal continental breakfast. There is a wide variety of hot and cold breakfast foods to choose from. Our room was very clean but the mattress and pillows were old. It didn't make for a good night of sleep. Other than the bed and pillows the hotel was a good value.

We planned this family vacation a couple months ago and could not be more satisfied with our stay. The only thing we would like to have changed is out check in time. We had arrived around 11am from Georgia and was told we couldn't check in until 3pm but the staff allowed us to unload our baggage and would let us know as soon as room was available so we just stayed out on the beach and pool until then. We gave this hotel another chance after a bad experience last year. I'm so glad we did because we had a wonderful stay! The location can't be beat! The hotel sits on the beach, and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The cleaning staff was awesome and made sure our room stayed in top condition. We got a room for the July 4 weekend--gulf front view with balcony, a price upwards of $450 per night. At a Hampton Inn? Why would anyone pay this? I'll give you three reasons. 1) The beach. 2) The beach. 3) The beach. There are five or so hotels next to each other on this street, but the HI is a winner. Great things about the hotel: breakfast, hot coffee all the time, friendly staff, convenient location, awesome beach! Not so great things: our room smelled like body odor, I had to burn incense the whole 4 days we were there. When we checked in the bathroom floor had not been swept and there was hair in the shower. First off, I would just like to say that booking.com doesn't have a clear description for some of their room selections. If you see a discounted gulf view room that doesn't specifically say "balcony", then you're signing up for a first floor room with no balcony and a view of the pool. I used rewards points in order to book the hotel. Some of the things need to be updated but overall the hotel was nice and the staff works very hard. The biggest issue is that the hotel charges extra for chairs at the beach through a third part. When I was looking at booking the hotel it fluctuated between 350-450. Hotel was clean and staff was very nice. Good location to the beach which is why we stayed. Pretty crowded since this was our first time to the beach during peak season. Will return off season for a more relaxed atmosphere. The beach was beautiful and the water was 88 degrees. It was a little stormy during our stay but we loved the area!

The only real issue I have with my stay was the cleanliness of my room when I arrived. The location is excellent. The beds are very comfortable. The front desk staff very friendly. I also would have liked it more if you could get lunch or snack food in lobby.

Pleasantly surprised at the friendliest staff at every turn. I had encounters with three of the front counter people and two support personnel. Almost to a point that they were having a contest to see who could be friendlier. Really made you feel special and welcome. Will stay there again for sure.

Stayed here for one night in May on a trip to New Orleans from Orlando, had a sea view room, could do with a refurb as it looked a bit dated.. Good location and the seafood restaurant across the road was nice. Breakfast was buffet style and could do with being a bit more substantial especially with the price you pay for the hotel

The hotel itself is on the beach and a little older so it has some wear and tear! The staff was friendly and helpful! The room was comfortable but not as clean as others I have stayed. There is a lovely view, places to eat outside and two nice pools if you want an early swim. It gets really crowded in the afternoon! Over all pleasant stay.

We were staying here on a last minute beach getaway. The staff was very friendly especially Kyle. My credit card on file on the website had expired and he called to confirm if we are coming. Additionally he held our room for 20min or so until I was able to get updated credit card for him. At check in he was super friendly to my family. My daughter was so excited about the beach and Kyle said he had a special ocean friend waiting for her and gave her a small stuffed dolphin that she has been snug... Read more

It's a Hampton Inn, not the Ritz Carlton as long as you realize that you'll have a nice stay. The hotel staff was top notch, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and have nice views, especially the gulf front rooms. The pools are very small, but the beach is great so who needs a pool.

We stayed at this Hampton from July 31-Aug 4. The stay was very good, but the WI-FI was very spotty and almost unusable. The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating, and so was the housekeeping staff. The maid for our room (449 on aug 3 )even gave my daughter the stuff dalphin, which she named skipper , to my daughter she left it on the bed for her. I am surprised that they seem to handle the mass amount of people with such ease. And one last comment: Although the breakfast is free ... Read more

A beach front resort with no beach. I chose this hotel for a quick vacation with my wife and kids. Since we got here, it has been a disaster to the point that it is funny. First of all, the previous occupants of our room were obviously smokers and the staff did not seem to care that our rooms smells like an ashtray. We were told that there are no other available rooms. The staff at the desk simply did not care. Next, we noticed that the toilet did not flush at all without lifting the tank lid ... Read more

We stayed here for a few nights and overall it was a very enjoyable, nice stay. We have stayed at Hampton Inns across the country and have come to expect a certain level of cleanliness, hospitality, and value for the money. This location is simply fantastic! Just out the back door to 2 small pools (we didn't use), a deck bar, and then steps to the beach. The stay was not without issue, however. When we first arrived our room smelled of smoke (previous occupants). The front desk was very fr... Read more

We were in Pensacola Beach for a 2 night stay. We arrived a little early on our first day and were eager to hit the beach. We were pleased that our room was ready. We rushed up and changed into our suits, only to get out back and discover we could not access the beach due to dredging and contruction to revitalize the beach. While this was dissapointing, it was out of the hotel's control. That being said... They handled this poorly. I was not alerted prior to my stay. There was absolutely zero me... Read more

We are generally a fan of Hampton Inns, but the one on Pensacola Beach, fell way below our expectations. The hotel is extremely over crowded, but of course, this was July 31-Aug. 2, and lots of families are still vacationing. The beds are still very comfortable there. One of the elevators wasn't working the entire time. The dining area is not nearly large enough for all the people, and there were long lines for the breakfast. We opted to walk and find breakfast elsewhere both mornings. Ou... Read more

We travel a lot and always stay with Hampton. This hotel was by far the most run down Hampton I've been in. We had stains on our bedding and long black hairs in shower. The furniture had seen better days. The chairs in dining area are ripped and torn and not enough seating as well. Best part of stay was the beach outside

Waking up by the beach was absolutely wonderful. We made this trip over Labor day. This hotel was clean and neat and very enjoyable to stay at. It's not one of the newer Hamptons but it is very nice and tidy. With coffee always ready, we took our early morning walks in the sand every day we were there. The staff at the Pensacola Beach Hampton are friendly and welcoming. The location is great within walking distance of restaurants and right on the beach. This was our second stay at this hotel. The service as always at Hilton was awesome! The location and price can't be beat. The rooms however need some attention. The bottom of one of the lights was rusted, the window seal was nasty, and the bathroom could have used an extra scrub. The mattress was also like sleeping on an air mattress very soft and uncomfortable! The front desk staff is quite professional and very accommodating. However the breakfast is nasty (powdered eggs or similar) and the breakfast staff is rude. When getting coffee the rudest of the staff seemed annoyed that I was getting coffee and just seemed unhappy about everything. The view from the beach side rooms and the location for a relaxing time can't be beat.. but the walls are a little thin and the neighbors conversations and ringing cell phones are hard to ignore.
