"Well, we drove all night long to Panama City Beach and it was fantastic. Calypso was in a perfect location and right next to a new shopping area called Pier Park. It was beautiful. We had a great time and we didn`t even have to drive there. It had everything: food, shops, mall, and a movie theater. But whatever you do, do not go to the Hofbrau Beer Garden, they have roaches and the food was nasty, but everywhere else was great."

"All I can say is WOW. The Calypso is by far the best condo or hotel that I have ever stayed at. I just got home after spending a week there with my family and I really hope/think we will return next year and every year to be honest. The super clean environment and very friendly staff made me feel like I was right at home. The balcony view of the Gulf of Mexico and the swimming pools were also relaxing. Nicely stocked kitchen too. The tiki bar was also really cool to hang out at. I just can't say enough good things about the place to justify how awesome it really is. Thank you to everyone at the Calypso for providing us with such a wonderful experience. Cya next year!"

"The condo was excellent. However, when we booked the condo I was told it was a family resort and spring breakers under age 25 would not be admitted unless with a family. Well, they lied!! We were there March 16-20, 2009. Every morning at least 500 kids under 25 headed to the private beach carrying coolers full of beer I know because they left beer cans everywhere. We were never able to use our free chairs because they were full of kids morning until night. Every time you got on the elevator it reeked of beer and was always full of drunken kids. The noise wasn't bad except for two nights. Every time we left the parking garage, which was only for the resort, then returned it was full of cars without a permit issued by the resort. You also couldn't sit by the two pools because the kids always had the chairs saved. If I were ever to return it wouldn't be anywhere near Spring Break. I was told it lasts for a month. We went then because it was the only time we could take our granddaughter."
