"Me and three other family members stayed at the Palm Grove on April 10th till April 12th 2013. We paid 208 for two nights. When we got their we had to be told by a random person we had to check in about two miles away at a different SeaHaven hotel. We didnt have to pay a deposit like we were told. The motel looks nice on the outside and the parking lot is extremely small. The room was small but clean. You can tell the fridge is old because they painted over the rust. The bathroom was the nices part of the room. it was clean and smelled good. We did find a used bar of soap at the top of the shower which was kind of gross. also the matresses had stains on then and the sheets were clean but had small stains on them. All in all it was an ok stay but i would recoomend it to a friend."

"Our original room had to be changed since nothing worked {no electric or water} the next room was dirty as well that we were given. Staff was never seen the whole time we were there. Only staff was at check in and she was rude and we got the feeling she could of cared a less about the condition of the rooms. No ice availabe, had to go across road to store and buy ice."

"Please avoid this place at all cost if you want to have an enjoyable vacation. I tired to save a few dollars and paid the ultimate price. This place should be condemned. It is not fit for human habitation. The photos are misleading to the point it should be considered criminal. The room - floors are a compilation of many types of very old nasty tile, there was a very scary 'ring of filth' were the floor meets the wall, the walls need paint and were improperly patched in places, the beds are like something from a garage sell that should be in a hunting cabin, the toilet leaked in our room, the 'kitchenette' was so nasty we did not feel safe cooking on it, there was no phone in the room, the curtains were soiled, and the few towels we were provided had holes in them. The outside - no much better. Trashy is the only word to adequately describe the place. Not even an ice machine on the premises. The in room refrigerator barley worked and had no ice maker. This place used to be called Peek's Motel, but I suspect they recently changed their name due to a lot of bad PR. Believe me if I had found that little tidbit of information earlier would not have stayed there myself. Again, do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars to stay at a decent place. Motel 6 looks like Ritz Carlton compared to this dump. "

"I would not even stay in the room lost my $115 and went and got another room somewhere else, it was so horrible, the door had been kicked in and the blinds wouldn't even cover the windows of the room that was on the main road. Never again. "

"The place was nasty, beds was hard!!! No wash clothes, had to go down the street to another hotel to get ice. Walls and roof has leak marks all over it. One of the keys to room would not work, the other one you would have to pull on door knob to open it. Will not recommend place to stay at!!!! Had dead cricket on be and chips left in floor from past guest,"
