Love staying here during the Thunder Beach bike rally, staff very friendly, they could install Wi-Fi. Great balcony view of the beach. I didn't do the continental breakfast, not much there. Walk across the street and there is an awesome breakfast buffet at the All American Diner. Very clean, and very comfortable. I have been staying here twice a year for 5 years now. Love this place.

My husband, myself and our two kids (6 & 3) stayed for a week at the Beach Break and we had a lovely time. Every staff member we encountered was nothing but cordial and friendly. The rooms were clean. The breakfast provided was your normal continental breakfast that didn't offer much variety but was fine for a light breakfast before heading out to the back. The Barefoot Grill next door was excellent. Overall, I have no complaints. The previous negative reviews must've come from those who were ex... Read more

Pros: Visit Panama City Beach this July 2016. I really love this place for its romantic view. Definitely I will come back again. Recommend for lovers at all ages. Cons: bottle and cigarette butts thrown along the beach.

I searched for our hotel by Internet, and even though it is listed by 2 stars, it seemed to be rated by others pretty good. Well it's NOT good! The pictures shown by the hotel are very misleading! Our room had several stained ceiling tiles, which looked nasty. The carpet was so filthy our feet were black from walking on it. The room was in much need of maintenance and cleaning! The free breakfast is a joke! It consisted of juices, milk, coffee, cold cereals, yogurt, fruit, and bagels. We left hu... Read more

It is right on the beach which is lovely. The room we were in is in dire need of renovation. It was pretty clean but the stove barely works and the tub didn't drain for hours. The wall sockets caused our chargers to get really hot when we plug in phones or computer. The small electrical box in the wall is ancient and frightening looking. The wifi doesn't reach our room so we had to go the lobby to use it. The front office staff is competent but the housekeeping staff wasn't responsive... Read more

If you're looking for a "nice" hotel, go elsewhere. Not worth $200+ a night. This would've been more feasible as a $100/ night hotel. We stayed here because we found out at the last minute we were going to PCB for vacation & everything else was unavailable on such short notice. We were wishing we would've just splurged a little more & rented a condo. Pros: ‚?Ębalcony view was nice ‚?Ęit really is right on the beach as it claims ‚?Ęthe staff was friendly Cons: ‚?Ę way overpriced ‚?Ęno elev... Read more

Not as nice as the pictures online. Very dated. You'd do better upgrading your room to the place next door that they also own. Legacy. The staff was super nice, Director Joe helped us upgrade our room. The price increase is not that much and well worth it to stay at Legacy in the bigger rooms.

This was a 4 day, 3 night stay for me & my 14yr old daughter. I have to say other than the stairs we had to climb (I recommend bringing luggage w/wheels that made it easier for us & beds are not the most comfortable (however they wasn't terrible, they were suitably comfortable. Parking @ hotel is limited, but was only an inconvenience 1 night. I loved the place. Right on the beach, staff was very friendly, even allowed us to check in a little early, friendly maids ( checked on us daily). We had ... Read more

We have been staying with Beachbreak by The Sea for the last 5 years. We have also stayed at thier property next door The Legacy. We just returned from a week at the Beachbreak, and we will never return. When we arrived, our clean room had not been vacuumed and their were toenails on the floor (gross)! They only came to make our beds and bring fresh towels once, the other times we had to go down to the office and ask for towels. The hot tub was not hot the entire week we were there, and the... Younger guests are treated poorly. I had a 5 night stay with two friends for our high school graduation trip. We each put down a $100 cash deposit, as required for guests under 25. They refused to return the deposit upon checkout until we assisted their housekeeping staff in cleaning our own room (sweeping, taking out the trash, etc.) Some of the staff was helpful and friendly, but others treated us with very minimal respect. Overall, the location was fantastic (beautiful beach, great restaurant... Read more

Those reviews that talk about the age, garbage, on and off cell and internet service, towel issues, pool cleanliness issues, NO ELEVATOR and the place has 4 floors....listen to them. They are spot on and factual reviews. We stayed here 5 nights. The first room had okay internet but slow and okay cell. Then they had to move me after the 2nd night due to some weird leak coming from the roof. I was then in the middle of the hotel and could not get cell service half the time or internet and had to s... Read more

The hotel was set up nicely. The hotel was clean and convenient location. The was many restaurants surrounding the hotel. The beach was right in the back of the hotel. A beautiful view from the hotel, from morning to night. The staff was very nice.

We stayed a couple nights in July. It was a pretty affordable rate and it's right on the beach with a restaurant directly next door. The beach area was clean and not over run. Rooms were nice but nothing fancy. We stayed on the third floor which is actually ground level with the parking lot but over looked the ocean. Our room had two large beds and a sofa as well as a walk through kitchen and small table with two chairs. They have a refrigerated vending machine and ice makers in the halls as wel... Read more

Wish I could post a better review, but unfortunately this place didn't nearly live up to expectations. The good - friendly staff, GREAT location, nice exterior gounds and pool. The bad - we were in a "double suite" - room 301. This one is badly, badly in need of a remodel, can't comment on the rest of the hotel of course. Ours though had: - Moldy smelling carpet in the front bedroom - 3+ burnt out light bulbs that hadn't been replaced - Exhaust fan in bathroom falling from the ceiling - Door ... Read more

We found this place over a year ago. Rooms are always clean. Parking lot was busy so my reviews are being read. Not a bad place on the beach for the money. Light breakfast included. We will be back again soon.

Spent 2 nights here during our road trip of The Panhandle, because we only stay at places for a maximum of 2 nights we tend to choose low budget motels, this one falls far short of others we have stayed at during this trip. The good - we arrived prior to the official 4 o'clock check in and were allowed into our room early, the iron in our room was broken and quickly replaced with a brand new one, the staff we met were very friendly and seemed genuinely keen to make our stay as comfortable as po... Booked a one night spur of the moment stay. Very tired older hotel. Typical of many cheap beach motels. Though the room was clean enough it still had issues. It is right on the beach which is great, but there is no way I could "vacation " here for a week or more. One night was my max. I used the restroom in a corridor and it was absolutely horrendous. First it reminded me of one I had used in the field in the army, two open toilets and one sink. Filthy is all I can say. Looked as though someone ... Read more

Not worth the money spent, No elevator, nasty stained carpet, was promised a nice room, and still ended up with dated, old, raggedy, furniture. Not safe, the rooms situated near the stairwells, could be easily accessed by anyone (could have climbed over the rail, so we couldn't even sleep with the balcony door open to listen to the ocean, It just ruined my vacation. Not enough electrical outlets, had to make coffee in the bathroom. The pictures didn't match the real description of the rooms. We ... Read more

This hotel is an older one without an elevator so we were lucky enough to be on the 2nd floor. It's really in a great location. Much to do within walking distance. Our rooms were clean, and we could get internet where some others had problems. The staff at the front desk while we were there, were quiet, not quick to smile. The beds were older but our beds were comfortable. This is a no frills place with down to earth people. We met so many nice people that said they have come back every yea... Read more

Over all a good stay. This might not sound like a good visit but it was. The shower was terrible, you had to squat to take a shower. I am only 5 foot 8 inches and had to lean down to wash my head and face. The room was a king, kitchenette and it was a small room. The room was very clean and the people at the front desk were very nice. Heads up if you want a quite area don't stay by the pool. Very loud around the pool area.

Stayed November 24 thru 26, 2016. Is it older and in need of renovation? Yes. Other then that, it was a clean, functional room right on the beach. Balcony view is awesome. Didn't use the pool but lots of other people seemed to enjoy it. Same with the hot tub. Would we stay here again? Probably, but we would look for an upgrade first.
