It was absolutely horrible. I went through vrbo to rent a particular condo that was unavailable. Jon Caldwell with Emeral Coast Destinations, graciously(sarcasm here) volunteered 307 Watercrest. The pictures looked fine. We got there and it was terrible. The room was dirty.......floors, counters, dirty sheets, no pullout sofa sheets, blankets, pillows, no pillows in one of the masters, electrical plate loose from wall exposing wiring that my 2-year old could reach and wet towels finally fou... Old units that are barely cleaned from previous tennents. Old stove where 2 eyes didn't work and a microwave that randomly cooked things. Silverware and plates old and worn and missing half of the kitchen utensils. Bathrooms were cruise ship sized and moldy and sporadic water pressure with poor drainage. Really picky about not drying things on back porch but don't mind it from what looked like owner used units. Also didn't mind people pulling fire alarms and flicking cigarette butt wherever... This was a (3) ladies getaway weekend to the Seabreeze Jazz festival Our unit assignment was #810 was quiet and clean and have a wrap around balcony with full seating and lounge chairs. Some standard items were missing so we purchased what we needed. The double room TV was not working, although reported it was not resolved. Alternate TV was available. No CD/DVD player present, which was unusual for the amount we paid. Furniture was comfortable and had a pull out couch. But the master bed had ... Read more

We stayed in a three bedroom condo. The place was very clean, the security, pool & beach staff was very attentive we watched from our balcony each day and they attended to there rounds. The building in doing some remodeling but everything was open and running. The only trouble we had was with the elevators that only goes to the 6 floor the button have to be pushed just right to get it to come. Other the. That all was great.

Good location, nice pool, great ocean views, right on beach. Only issue I had was our condo #1003 although adequate. It needed updating and was very dirty. Carpet was dirty, mold in tub around hand support. Coffee maker didn't work. Stove was dirty. Silverware was dirty. Over all the stay was pleasant. Just wish condo had been cleaner. It's as if the owners never checked behind the cleaning crew. I would stay in the building again. Just a different condo.

Very nice location, construction going on during my visit caused limited parking. This is a nice ground floor unit, but could use some extra attention from the owners. It has a nice comfy bed in master bdrm but the other bdrm could sure use some new beds. Microwave handle broken, closet doors off track, leaning in back of closet. Couch listed as extra sleeping area but NO extra sheets or blankets , not enough towels in unit. Patio area in desperate need of attention, patio doors so dirty you co... Read more

I didnt enjoy my stay at all! Way too many rules for vacationing families! Pool and hot tub closes at 10pm-for real- its vacation!! The ground restrooms also close at 10pm! Not so good for the little crab hunters/fisherman! My son who is 8 got told by the security guard that he couldnt use his innertube in the pool!! Our 3rd night there our stuff which was on the beach- nice and tidy- was thrown around and wouldve been thrown away if some stranger wouldve have stopped them bc it was after 7pm! S... Read more

Recently renovated and redecorated unit in a recently renovated condominium development; the place is simply outstanding. The furnishings are new and the decorating was done very nicely. All of the appliances worked, with one exception (below), and the condo was VERY clean. The only maintenance issue we encountered was a noisy dryer in the washer/dryer stacked unit. I called the rental company, Emerald Beach Properties, at about 8:30 on Monday morning, and the maintenance person arrived and ... Read more

My family and I traveled to Panama City Beach in June 2016. This was our first time staying on the far end of Thomas Drive(close to St. Andrews State Park) and also our first time staying at Watercrest. Our overall experience was great! We all loved our unit and it had great beach and pool access. Unit 110 is a corner end unit and it goes right out to the pool area and beach without having to walk completely around to get to where you're going. This was by far the best unit we have ever stayed a... Read more

We stayed at Watercrest mid to late June 2016. They have up a sign that they are doing over a million dollar renovation. We stayed on the 17th floor. It is 18 floors but the top is premium-need a special key/card to get into. It was a nice place. Our room was on the corner and had a spectacular view of the ocean and you could also see the road behind you. A good 180 view. They are built to where they can have 3 rooms on each corner, one stacked behind the other. But you still have your privacy. ... Read more
