"Our stay was wonderful. Check-in was very quick and the staff was pleasant and informative. They gave us discount booklets to restaurants and entertainment venues. Our room was very nice. It was decorated so pretty and up to date and made our stay more enjoyable. The location was good and was close to restaurants and other interests. The beach was really pretty and clean, as well as the pool area."

"There are lots of other nicer places in this area to stay at than this hotel. The rooms were smaller than other properties we have been to, and the ammenities were just not up to snuff when you are paying premium dollar. The rugs had many stains in them, no tissues in the bathrooms, marginal and mismatched dishes and flatware. Missing dishware, and cookware items were woefully lacking. Maintainance rudely knocked on our door to deliver a 'repaired broken chair'. Well don't you think that could have been replaced prior to our arrival. Then the next day they came in to replace the A/C filter. Again, something that should have been done before we got there. The front desk staff was extremely rude to our son when he brought this to his attention, and threw a business card at him stating to call the number on the card if we had a problem. Reservation claimed unlimited free DVD rentals, but we were only given a coupon for 1. We were never offered the voucher for the $200 coupon book for the nearby shopping center. Other than that, it was great. Yea, right!! My suggestion would be to find a place that values you as a customer, and values the hard earned money you put into your stays. This is not that place."

"MY Fiance and I stayed at the Sterling Reef for a get a way weekend. The staff was gracious enough to put us on the 15th floor. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and the sunsets were very romantic. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner on the balcony.
The condo was very clean and well stocked. The bed was SO comfortable. What llittle interaction we had with the staff was very pleasant, they let us check in early. It wasn't that the staff wasn't available, we just didn't need the staff except to check in and check out.
IIf you stay in Panama City Beach, definitely look at the Sterling Reef!"

"My wife and I had a great time in Panama City staying at Sterling Reef from Oct 16-21. The check-in process was smooth, took about 10-15 minutes. They need to post a contact phone number with the reservation. The condo was clean and quiet. Parking was very good. Just wish the cold front didn't move in on us, will go earlier next time."

"It was AMAZING!!! We were initially placed in a Penthouse, which I did not know at the time of booking, which I LOVED, i was super clean, and BEAUTIFUL, and I'm not exaggerating. But unfortunately, my husband is deathly afraid of heights, so we were moved to the second floor. Itwas just as nice, just a different theme. Still, very clean, and spacious. I was kind of confused as to things like extra towels, and cleaning service, but we weren't bothered by not having them, so didn't bother asking anyone. anyways... I highly reccommend...... we LOVED it!!! We will more than likely return:)"

"Overall a good time and nice place...especially if you have smaller kids. Resort right on nice part of the beach. Room average but clean and accessible and nearby great food, shopping and WALMART. Pool was clean but cold for only low 80s days. A few issues checking in late (plane was delayed)...after 4 but before they close and leave at 5. It took 3 calls to get into the room on arrival and to get into the room (207B) you had to enter the door that says 207A??
Nothing fancy...but very family friendly, affordable and again...GREAT BEACH!"

"Our stay was outstanding . The staff were wonderful. But 1 staff person stood out more than the rest, that was Mike who worked the desk. He was exceptional. If I was to complain about anything it would be the carpet had lots of stains and the walls had scuffs all on them. The beach front was amazing. We stayed a week and enjoyed ever min. "

"Loved our 2 bedroom condo at the Sterling Reef Club. Right on the pristine baby powder beach, within walking distance of just about everything, clean & comfortable, all the amenities including a washer/dryer - what is not to like. Mike and Jimmy at the front desk were always friendly and helpful and the one time something broke the engineer was up in less that 5 minutes and had it fixed in 3. They have free DVDs for those quiet evenings and offer loads of discounts on the more exciting stuff in Panama City. The grown-ups loved it and the kids loved it. We will definitely make Sterling Reef our home base in Panama City Beach!"
