"This is the first time we stayed at Sterling Breeze. To start it takes a while to walk in your room and haul your luggage. We were not warned about the construction and the jackhammers were so loud there was no sleeping in. The pool was open except for on our last night. We had children with us and the pool was needed at the end of the day to tire them out. However, the security guard shut it down. He told us we could not enter, but there was other people in the pool!?! We went back to the room and finally saw the others getting out. Saturday night is not the best night to shut the pool down, especially when you have children who want to swim. We also had a problem with housekeeping and maintenance coming in on Saturday morning at 10 AM and we didn't leave until Sunday. Luckily, we were there to tell them we weren't leaving until Sunday. They did give us complimentary late check-out on Sunday and free DVDs during the stay, but never had the ones we wanted to watch. The room was night, but the walk in showers and jetted bathtubs is misrepresentation. It was just a regular bathtub! We also had a problem with the thermostat adjusting itself to different temperatures. I probably will not book here again, but overall the room was big enough for all of us to enjoy."

"The title sums up our recent stay. Upon arrival the desk had a wrong address for our party. Not a big deal, until the clerk attempted to charge me an additional $600 that she said was due, even though the reservation was paid in full. Managed to get that straightened out and had to haul all luggage to 18th floor with no luggage cart. thermostat would suddenly decide that top should be set at 65 degrees or 80 degrees randomly. Then Monday morning arrived. Jackhammering started at 8:45am, sounded like a dentists drill. Continued until around 4;30pm. Housekeeping thought that we were checking out after three days (booked the stay 3 and 4th is free promo). I called down and was assured that it was just an oversight and everything was covered. Well, tried to get backingo our room after a day on the beach and keys were denied. Re keyed again. Yesterday morning housekeeping attempted to enter the room at 8am. Have used bookit several times with no problems, hope this was just a bad property. "

"Well,
At first I was notified that the pool was to be closed due to construction. After that was solved, the wrong size of room was given to us in which the A/C unit was frozen like a solid block of ice and could not be repaired until several hours later. We were then moved to a larger room with an additional cost, and then on Tuesday, the rail construction with the jack hammers commenced for several hours straight. After this vacation, I feel like I need another one to recover. I am highly dissapointed in the whole thing. I love Panama City and the beaches are beautiful, but unfortunatly, I think I am done with the whole Sterling Breeze thing. By the time I left, my wallet was flat, after paying the upcharge it left nothing to go and enjoy the town, and from the jackhammers, my nerves were fried. We had 4 dissabled people on this trip and it was bad."
