"Checked in after hours about 8pm on Thursday. Did not have gate code, so had to park across street. No signs as to where lobby was. After finding lobby no one inside. found call box and temp keys. Tried to check in next morning after temp keys locked us out of room at 8am. Still no one at desk till 9am! Cleaning lady helped us get into room. Front desk personel was lacking. Nice place clean and newer. 80plus dollars for cleaning fee! for only 3 nights. We left it cleaner than when we arrived."

"What a great vacation...just got back from another glorious week at the Palazzo.

Absolutely no complaints about the staff or condo...we were a little upset that the real estate agent wanted to show our unit, but after discussing it with the front desk personnel we were not bothered with another phone call. The young lady at the front desk provided a lot of information about local restaurants and later medical facilities in the area after our parasailing incident.

Kudos to the Logan from Aquatic Adventures, who took great care of us on the beach. In addition to the rest of the staff after a mishap parasailing. They were very apologetic and concerned that things didn't go as planned. Hopefully next year will be better for parasailing."

"Booked a one bed room Gulf View for me and my two daughters. Overall expeience was great with the exception of room not really clean. Had food droppings on floor and on furniture. Parking, as stated in previous reviews, was right on. Some spots were very difficult to get in and out of. Beaches were full of seaweed. Would have been nice for city to clean beaches every night like they do in Gulf Shores, AL or Pensacola. Other than that, the actual condo was very nice. Loved the kitchen and grannite counter tops."

"Enjoyed the room (except the floors were dirty), view and location. The worse thing about the Cond's is that the parking places are way to small and very difficult to park and exit parking...Great for bikes and mini cars..The staff was very friendly and helpful....Would re-visit in the future.."

"Our stay was great. We arrived a day early and they were able to accommodate us with the same unit we were scheduled to have so we didnt have to move after one night. We stayed in #903 and it was perfect for our family of five. The floors,ceiling fans and fixtures could of used a good cleaning but overall we were happy with our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the sunrise/sunset. The staff was friendly,courteous and prompt in attending to our needs and advising of area resturants,attractions and shopping centers to visit. We will definitely stay at the Plazzo again."

"It wasnt good! The mirowave didnt work.. we called the front desk the next morning, they never got up there to fix it. Was a major inconvenience with 3 small children with one on the bottle. Had no internet for 2 days. We requested a room on the 4th floor or as far down as possible and we were put on the 13th floor. It took 10 minutes to catch an elevator. "

"Everything went as planned. The condo #905 @ Palazzo we stayed in was very nice. Great water front view. A closer airport would have been nice. Drive time from airport at Fort Walton Beach was about 1 hour away from condo. Parking at the condo and access to the beach were good. "

"We were absolutely thrilled with the condo we stayed in. It was so much more than we expected. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the dolphins in the morning from the balcony and not having to fight for beach chairs/umbrella (thank you Damien).

We've been to Cancun and believe that we enjoyed this vacation more than that one. Cleaner beaches, friendly people, being able to travel freely, no language barrier, and not having to travel outside the country was a major plus.

A couple of pointers: If you need to travel down from one end of the strip to the other quickly, take the back roads instead of Front Beach Road. It can be pretty crowded on the strip on the weekends and in the evening. The jet ski dolphin tour is a must if you want an upclose view of them. If you go to shell island, look for the sand dollars that hang out under the sand on the cove side of the island. Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen.

We're already planning the next trip and will definitely be looking at the Palazzo for our lodging."
