"Got there to check in at 4 like my confirmation said & room was not ready until 5:30(said they were cleaning it what a JOKE). Went to the condo & had everything unloaded ready to go in room & tried to unlock door & they had given me the wrong keys called & they said I had to come back to get the right ones. Had to load everything back in car and go back to Royal check in office. Instead of giving me keys right then they made me stand in line while they checked in other guests. Finally got to get into my room at 6:45. Once inside room was nasty! Floors were BLACK with dirt & sand! 2nd bedroom the bed had bed bugs(called & conone came so I had to go buy spray and just locked off the room totally) then had to sleep on the cot because sofa bed was FILTHY & stained with god only knows what. I was given 2 towels for a 4 night stay. Half the lighting fixtures had no bulbs(had to go buy some) went to cook dinner & all the pans had food caked on them. Been to FLA over 40 times & this was the worst stay ever! Was charged a $90 cleaning fee & I had to clean everything before I could even use it!! Mold & sand all around the bottom of the shower. For the price this was ridiculous! I will never use this service again & would NEVER refer anyone to this place. Also on balcony went out to look & rail was loose & almost came off! I was on the 8th FLOOR! Given 1 kitchen towel & no detergent for dishwasher(had to go buy that also). I could understand one or two things going wrong we all are human but with all of this it was just rude, uncaring & overall careless! Dont bother calling the staff either they are too busy with the guests at their resort to have time for you."

"While the staff at check in and check out were very nice, ours was not. It was very run down and dirty. The sliding glass doors to the balcony did not work and we were unable to use the balcony. I left a message with the check in associate immediately after we arrived but this was not corrected. In addition, one of the TV's didn't work and that wasn't corrected either.

Not sure that I will stay there again and definitely will not stay at this unit."

"Everything was great except the tile floors in the condo have never been cleaned, The first day, walking barefoot, our feet were black within 10 minutes. I paid $90 for maid service, so did the person before me, the floors should have been clean. When I told the staff at the registration office, one lady was nice about it, the other tattoo girl had an attatude, saying that tile floors are to hard to clean."

"On my first day there I was accosted by who I found out to be a live in owner. She was very rude and nasty. She threatened to call the police on me because I was sitting on my ground floor patio watching my grandchildren in the pool. She rudely advised me I must be sitting at pool side even though I was closer to the pool than some people who were at the pool side. This was done in a loud rude manner. That really upset me and ruined my relaxed vacation. We were to leave on Tuesday, but left Monday because of her. I will not stay at the Moondrifter again due to the way they allow their residents to treat vacationers. We paid a substancial amount to be treated in such a way. This is the first time I have stayed somewhere that people treated me like this. Also we did not have a view of the ocean, never could get hot water in one of the showers. But I would have overlooked these things if I had not been treated in such a rude manner. I feel that she should reimburese me part of my fees as she spoiled my vacation."

"Condo we initially were assigned (# 302 or 306 ??) did not have the view we expected, shower was stained & had some rust & garbage disposal was loose and noisy. We returned to front desk and they re-assigned us to # 804. This view was awesome and entire condo was much more appealling. Only complaint was that bedroom had no window and was very dark so kept lights on most of time, except when sleeping. Also, legs of the table and chairs on deck were metal and rusting so table would not stand level but we were able to prop it up. This was my stepson from Seattle, Wa. first visit to the beach and he was thrilled. Location was excellent....right next to one of our favorite places, the Spinnaker and water and weather were perfect that time of year. Truly enjoyed our visit and plan to return in the future. THANKS !!"
