"This hotel charges a cleaning fee. Our room was dirty. Dirty floors, dirty bed linens.the floors had stains and the couches also had nasty stains. The plates in the cabinet wouldn't fit in the cabinet because the shelf wasnt deep enough. The door frame had been busted and the door stayed closed by changing it . Over rated!"

"We decided to take a quick trip down to Panama City Beach from Georgia to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. After seeing the positive reviews for Majestic Beach Resort, we booked a Gulf View Studio for the weekend. One thing that stood out immediately as inconvenient was that the parking deck was across the street and behind their Amenities building. It was quite a walk to get to the skywalk that crossed back over into Tower 1. Our room was on the 11th floor. It was a nice sized room, but not for long term stay. The balcony was much larger than expected and had a spectacular view of the ocean. The bed was full size...I highly doubt it was a queen. We assumed it was a King room, but looking back the description of the room didn't give details on the bed size. The bedding wasn't very comfortable and was actually pretty scratchy. Overall, I think its a very decent place to stay when you won't be spending much time in the room anyway."

"On Friday morning, we made a quick decision to take a weekend trip to the beach. No time for planning! Upon arriving at the Majestic Beach Resort we were greeted very nicely. We stayed in a studio room. We were disappointed to find that there wasn't at least enough to get you through until making it to the store the next morning, complementary coffee, paper towels and dishwashing liquid provided. Our bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Weeds were growing through the steps leading to the beach. Needless to say we were even more exhausted after the trip!"

"This is our 2nd visit to PCB. Both times we stayed at Majestic Beach Resort and loved our stay each time. Front desk staff was awesome: When we checked in our room had tile flooring that became VERY slippery with humidity from opening balcony door. We called down to front desk and asked if their was different room we could look at with carpet, they were extremely accommodating with our request. very helpful when I needed help with any issue and each time he saw us called us by name! The nachos at H2O and drink specials were awesome. The convenience of the market and great pizza were equally awesome. Overall I highly recommend staying at this resort. Great location, easy beach access, friendly staff"

"Absolutely beautiful condo! pleanty of room, and privacy with 2 bathrooms, a master bedroom and king size bed, bunk area, and pull out sofa, the view was amazing... pool was closed due to lightening indoor and outdoor... not great for the kids but thank you for looking after our safety! the kitchen was just like being at home with full size appliances, room for 8 people to eat between the bar and the table. Just wish the desk operator would have answered the phone when i called. 4 phone calls and they only answered once. Internet was a 10.00 a day fee.."

"Tips--call when you arrive to see if you can check in early. We arrived at 3pm and called the resort and we were able to check in early. You check in at Tower 1, and if you are staying in Tower 1 and you can't find a luggage cart, go check in Tower 2, we found a bunch in there. The elevators were very slow and hot. But what can you expect when you have two elevators and 23 floors full of guest. It was a hassle getting to your car, if you parked in the garage. The H2O bar did not have much to choose from for dinner type items. The staff at the resort was kind and understanding. Check out time was at 10am, but we were able to stay until 11am without being charged an additional fee. Some of the security people were rude, but most of them were nice. The furniture in our suite was very uncomfortable. We had to use the trow pillows to make it anywhere bearable. The TV in the living room/dinning room was so small we couldn't even enjoy it. The only reason I would not stay there again is because of the lengthy walk to the garage."

"Our 10th floor condo in tower II was very nice. There are 3 elevators that would get crowed at times but we had no problems with them we never waited over 3 to 5 minutes. The pool areas were disappointing one indoor pool and one that is covered by the building but not enclosed. So no sitting by the pool to get sun, although there is a small deck that runs along the beach with lounge chairs. Easy access to the beach, chair rentals were a little pricey.... Overall the place is very nice we had no problems. Would most definately stay here again!!!!"

"Had to come back a day early.
#2 The elevators broke the next day after we got there. We were on the 12th floor. It took us literally 2 hours to check out. Had to wait for a chart, had to wait for the elevator to the 12th floor and then wait for an elevator to get out of the hotel.
Staff was friendly, but really didn't know what to do about it.
Would not go back."

"The condo , view, area, were all excellent. The elevators are ridiculous! We waited for more than 40 mins at one point. They need to improve the elevator andI would book there again but not until they are fixed. Guess if you get the 1st couple floors it wouldn't be a problem to take the stairs...."

"The hotel in general is nice. But the elevators are VERY slow for that size of a hotel.
I was also told no pets were allowed at this hotel but I seen 4 of them there. One day it lightning very early on in the day and they closed the pools,hot tubs for the rest of the day.The security guards that they have working for them are RUDE you can not do anything without them yelling at you. Probably will not stay here again for the price I paid I have stay at less cost hotel in PCB and had way better service than I did at this hotel."

"We tried to check in a the Resort at approx. 5pm and were advised that we could not check in until all other arriving guests checked-in. We were told it could be hours and then there was still no guarantee we would be able to check in that day. They asked us to go to their 'sister' facility, (which was only a block away. They transferred our reservation. When we arrived at our room on the 16th floor, I was not happy with the overall appearance. The walls had black hand marks all down the hallway. The room did not have basic necessities (paper towels, dish soap, coffee packets, etc...), the carpets had not been vacuumed and there was no vacuum in the room. There was a great deal of dirt on the carpets and what appeared to be confetti (red, white stars). There was only basic cable, there was NO information availiable in the room with respect to: things about the area, information about the resort (pool, beach, restaurants, etc...). I called the front desk to inquire and was told that typically upon arrival guests receive a packet of information about the resort and area attractions, restaurants, etc.. The staff was very rude to us and not willing to help and answer any questions. I was also told that where we were staying was someones 'vacation home' and NOT a resort. I had asked about a TV/Movie Guide and was advised that the HOA only provides basic cable and the owner did not pay to upgrade to HBO etc... There was no DVD in the family room and therefore, our children could not watch movies. The facility was very large with 23 floors. The elevators were VERY VERY slow. If you had to go to your car, it was about a 45 minute walk & wait at the elevator. The pool was nice, the beach was nice but, thats it. "

"Great place to stay! This was our third time. The price is reasonable. Only downfall to the Majestic is they need more elevators. Having 23 floors and who knows how many people in condos, 4 elevators are not enough. We had to wait a long time each time to get up and down. Otherwise we had a great time!"

"I had the best time. Arrived early on Friday and was lucky enough to have my room ready before 4 p.m. My one bedroom with bunk roon was clean and ample space for my 3 sons, niece, nephew and myself. Beautiful view from the balcony. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessary utensils and cooking pans. Dryer did break down mid trip and one TV cable remote was missing. Was able to set up spot on the beach and leave my chairs and blankets there without worrying about anyone stealing them. Teenagers were around but staff was good about policing elevator to ensure that traffic kept flowing. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!"

"The place was dirty, sheets felt rough and stiff, the place looked like someone cleaned it in a hurry and did not take their time. Curtians and funiture are badly stained needs to be replaced. Very wild on the beach alot of under aged drinking and rough housing faul language etc. This is not a place to bring your family, looks like the resort would rather have the young wild crowd than families staying at it. From the out side and the website you think it's going to be a nice place, but when you get inside your room, it's dirty and not very inviting."

"The resort was beautiful and a perfect central location. We arrived at 3:45pm prepared to check in. We were told that our room wasn't ready. After waiting 45 minutes, I inquired again about checking in. I was abruptly informed by the front desk staff member that check in 'starts' at 4pm and that I was not guaranteed to check in at 4pm. I witnessed several complaints from other guests regarding her behavior. After waiting another 45 minutes, I was still informed that the room was not ready. After speaking to the manager, she politely informed me that the room was still not ready and they were working as fast as they can. We were not able to check in until 6pm. Needless to say, that was unacceptable to me after a six hour drive. The second issue was the lack of security on the property. It was the week of April 1st and there were thousands of students on spring break. Many of the students were unsupervised, intoxicated and obnoxious. There were continuous parties resulting in lack of sleep, lack of relaxation. The resort should have done a better job of monitoring the flow of people and the inappropriate behavior. Additional staff should have been hired to alleviate these issues. Overall, not sure if I would go back to the resort. IF I did, it would be just for the accomodations and it would be at a non-peak time."

"Never informed of the $40.00 deposit that you did get back for damages. Staff came to our room 2 days after being in there to take pictures of prior damages. That should have been done before we got there. Can opener didn't work properly, I had to go down to front desk to get one. At parking garage the keys didn't work to get in doors after hours. Security was suppose to be there but wasn't because, short staffed. Also had to drive through the parking garage across the street, to tell them at the front desk. A bit irritating. Called 3 times for toliet paper to be brought to our room. Also BEWARE if you are going anytime in March you can't have other friends/family from other Hotels come to visit you. Everyone wears a ID BADGE. If you loss it you pay $10.00 each. We had some family that stayed at another resort, they couldn't come visit, because they didn't have an ID BADGE. Staff wouldn't give any extra's only as many as the room would sleep. This was all because of SPRING BREAK that lasts all month (MARCH) long there. Wouldn't stay there again."

"My husband and I booked for a romantic getaway/birthday weekend.
We take responsibility for this but got a little confused and could not find our room at first; not reading the overhead sign pointing to Tower I and/or Tower II. Once we got to our room, it was clean and comfortable.
Working with vacation rentals myself, I probably scruntize housekeeping harder than the normal guest, but did notice a few housekeeping oversights. Nothing worth complaining about but definitely should have been seen. We immensely enjoyed our gulf front room.
Overall, we had a great weekend!

"I thought the room was very nice. However, I was misinformed that we would be staying in a 2 bath/1 Bedroom and there was only 1 bathroom. Also, we were told that we would be 'taken care of' when it came to our room's location. We wanted to ensure great beach access. Not so much as we were put on the 19th floor. Also, you have to park across the street on one level and take elevator to another level, figure out which way to go due to lack of signage, enter to an entirely different building which requires a card, get on another elevator to your floor. This took so long. One night our card wouldn't even read to let us in the building. We spent an hour trying to get some help. Finally after going back to the car and driving to the front, we found a security guard who nonchalantly brushed us off saying 'Yea, sometimes the cards don't work'. We were then sent on a maze of how to access our room from a different area. Also, for breakfast the market cafe wasn't even available, the front desk declaring 'somebody called in for work'. The cleaning crew practically met us at the door as we were checking out. When we told him we loaded the dishwasher, he was irritated that we didn't turn it on and complained about how long it took. Overall, the room was nice but it was my wedding weekend and I was expecting much more from this hotel. The representative misinformed me on the amenities and I would choose a different place to stay if I had to do it all over again. After all, we considered several places and this was a disappointment."

"It was a very relaxing and enjoyable trip, the resort was nice, the studio sweet we had was nice and clean, and the staff members were nice and very informational whenever you had a question or needed help with anything. I would recommend this resort, the only thing that caught us off guard was the $40.00 nonrefundable deposit that was not explained to us until we got ready to check-in at the resort, but other than that everything else was ok."

"WE HAD REQUESTED OCEAN FRONT BEDROOM WITH A STAND UP SHOWER, WHILE MAKING RESERVATION WE WERE PLACED ON HOLD TWICE WHILE THE RESERVATIONIST CALLED TO VERIFY. "The resort is very large and requires a good bit of walking to access your vehicle. The parking garage is nice and accommodates large vehicles better than most. There were security guards all over the place (in October no less), which were friendly and made us feel safer about our person and property. We stayed in a deluxe single which was not very fancy but plenty accommodating for a relaxing vacation."

"My husband and our 3 year old stayed here for 3 nights. We stayed in Tower 2 room 703 it was very clean and beautifully decorated. Fantastic place! My daughter loved having a bunk bed to sleep in. The bed in the master was not that comfortable because it was a little soft for my taste. However, My husband found it comfortable. You can hear the loud hum of the whirlpool tub motor being used upstairs. Not good for sleeping. Since it was Oct. when we went it was very pleasant not crowded! The weather was in the mid 80's in the day and low 70's at night. There is a heated indoor pool, but when you go back to your room you must go outside to get to the front door of your condo.....burrrr take along a warm wrap! It was awesome to see Dolphins swimming in the Gulf in the early morning from the balcony. It was wonderful to have everything you need in the fully equiped kitchen and a washer and dryer. The bedrooms were on the Front Beach St. side which was a little noisy for sleeping. You could hear trucks outside. The street lights kept the room bright at night, because the light could shine thru the blinds. That having been said this would not keep me from staying here again we found this Majestic Beach Resort to be top notch! We enjoyed our stay very much and would LOVE to return again."

"Majestic was very nice. It looks just like the photos and our room was awesome and very comfortable. It is in a convenient location and there are enough pools to keep you happy. The security guards, one in particular are a little over the edge, so always have your property tags with you. I traveled with my son and felt completely safe. He enjoyed the indoor pools and of course the beach was simply beautiful. If you travel with kids check out the Wonder Works museum, it is a blast. "
