Saw some reviews complaining about places to eat in the vicinity of the resort. Do not understand this. There is every kind of restuarant within a few miles of the resort.
I have stayed at several of the resorts in PCB and this one is up at the top of my list."

"My first stay at Long Beach Resort was very disappointing. I thought I was going to be staying at a resort as stated during my reservation but instead and much to my dismay I ended up staying in a privately owned condominium. The room upon entry had rust on the front door and from that point forward it just went from bad to worse. The room accommodations were outdated and the condition of the room was completely filthy. I am so glad that we decided to bring sheets, because we ended up using them for the bed. We had to completely wash down the shower, toilet and vanity area and disinfect the entire condominium. And to add injury to insult, the front desk attendant had the nerve to ask for a $48 non refundable damage security deposit. Let's go over our definitions please.....deposit means the fee will be refunded.....this charge is non-refundable. Which means, this is a fee. Given the condition of the room (and we were upgraded to the one bedroom...couldnt imagine what the studio what possibly have looked like) there should not be a charge accessed to your customers for damages. The upkeep of the grounds does not dictate such a fee. The cost of the room is considerably overpriced and I would NEVER stay in this hotel or any other resort property affiliated with Long Beach or Edgewater."

"I have stayed at Long Beach Resort before this trip. My first experience was great. Very Nice two bedroom two bath condo. Very nicely furnished. This trip though I was a little dissapointed in the one bedroom condo we stayed in. The living room furniture was dirty. I did not want to sit on it. We had to put a bed sheet on it before we could use it. The bedroom and bath were large and nice though. We did not like the fact that we were not allowed to put a beach canopy in front of the resorts rental beach chairs, although people could place their private umbrellas in front of them. This was a big disappointment to us. We like to be as close to the shore line as possible."

"I just got back from Long Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, Fl. I've seen a lot of negative reviews on here, but my experience was very different. I didn't want to leave. We had a one bedroom one bath condo. It was fixed up real cute. The bed was big and comfortable. The balcony was huge. The tub was very large. There isn't any wifi but we knew this before we went. You can go down to the Hangout beside the pool and get online. My condo seemed to be plenty clean and all that I wanted or needed. It was a great location. The guy at the front desk was very nice and I even checked in a couple hours early. Everyone seemed to be really nice and helpful. We never had any problems and I plan on going back and staying at Long Beach. Didn't want to come home!"

"WELL! WE WERE POMISED 2 BEDS THERE WAS ONLY ONE AND A PULL OUT SOFA THAT WAS UNCOMFORTABE. THE WEB SIGNT SAID THERE WAS INTERNET, WELL IT WAS ONLY BY THE POOL! THE STAFF DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON. AT FIRST THEY SAID WE COULD ORDER INTERNET FOR ADDITIONAL FEE. THE PROVIDER CALLED ME BACK AND SAID THEY HAVEN'T SERVICED LONG BEACH CONDO IN 2 YEARS! WE ASK TO STAY ANOTHER NIGHT THEY WANTED TO CHARGE US ANOTHER 40.00 FEE FOR INSURANCE AND THEN MOVE US TO ANOTHER TOWER. SO WE JUST LEFT. AND WILL NEVER BE BACK. I RECOMMEND THEY LEVEL THIS PLACE AND START OVER. NEEDS A LOT OF UP DATES.."

"The room was nice, clean. We did however have an issue with the key cards losing their codes. Only 1 pool was open, and it wasn't heated. The pool side snack bar wasn't open 1 day of our 3 day stay. But overall it was nice vacation. We would stay their again."

"I had an accident in the Condon due to a steel divider for the sliding glass door. The divider is to tall (approx 3-4 inches high) and I trip over it and cut my foot that required 5 stitches in my right big toe MANAGEMENT REFUSED TO PAY FOR THE HOSPITAL BILL."

"This was my first trip to Panama City, and we went during Spring Break so you know it was crowded with teenagers. The room was nice and clean, but the furniture needed updating. The view was fantastic, and we liked the balcony. A few things you need to know before booking this resort...it is not a typical beach resort - staff does not clean your room everyday - if you need fresh towels or beach towels ~ you have to go get them from the front desk and they are not always open! Housekeepers come when you checkout - there is not a restraraunt on the property and their is no night life by the pool...music, kaeoke, etc. You have to pay a $40 damage fee that is NONREFUNDABLE~ so basically you give them $40 bucks for nothing - the room looked better when we left."

"Our trip was great. The long beach resort had great views and accomidations. Our room had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. It was very spacious and clean. The beach was beautiful. We saw dolphins outside off our balcony one morning. The pool is very clean and pretty with two waterfalls and a large hot tub. We had no complications during our stay and saved money by making our own food in the fully stocked kitchen. We took a day trip to shell island by renting a pontoon boat which I fully reccommend. It was beautiful and full of florida wildlife. Have fun!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Long Beach Resort, our room was awesome more than we expected. We arrived early and was allowed to check in early. We brought our motorcylce on a trailer and there was ampule parking and we felt secure leaving our bike in parking lot, The security team was very visible and helpful. We will definetly book again with our travel agency and stay again at LONG BEACH RESORT IN PANAMA CITY BEACH,"

"The grounds at long beach resort looked well kept. as well as the lobby when getting off on the 10 floor and standing in front of my door I was very surprise to see the paint peeling off the front door and rust all around were the paint had peeled. When entering into the room I was hit with a smell that smell like rotten food. There was rust on the refrigerator and it look like drinks had been spilled all over the carpet. The worse was when I went into the bedroom the bedspread had white stains on it. I have been going to panama city for over ten years and I have stay at serveral hotels I would not recomend Long Beach Resort .there are some Great places Majestic Beach Towers,Emerald Beach,Edgewater. or all nice clean and have friendly staff. not sure what happen with long beach very suprise and disappointed."

"The location was nice and clean. The front door looked horrible, but in contrast, the inside was very clean. They gave us the king size bed that we requested which was nice.nnWe would definitely stay there again. No complaints about our place. It was everything we expected. Elevators were nice and fast. Clean. Staff was friendly.nnOn a side note, this weekend was very busy. Traffic was a little ridiculous. Restaurants were at least a 45 minute to 1.5 hour wait. Luckily the kitchen we had worked for us."

"Great place if relaxation is what you are after. Not much to do as far as live band entertainment, or caribbean cruises. The view of the ocean and the condo was beautiful. The food and places to eat weren't that great. Not many choices, and only one breakfast place if you can tolerate the Waffle House. I am more of a South Florida person, however my husband and I decided to do something different and drive to Panama. Overall it was nice, the condo was very clean and the staff was helpful and nice. But no big oohhhs and aahhhs about Panama . Will be heading back to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale (Hollywood Beach)"

"The condo was very nice but the pool wasn't heated and we were not able to enjoy the swimming. The water was very cold and we called up to the Office but there never was anything done about it. I would have to say that I would not recommend this to anyone that enjoys the pool as well as we do. If we had know this was the way the pool was we would have never booked it."

"Wonderful visit to Panama City Beach after Labor Day. No crowds. Rooms and facilities were not lacking except that the swimming pool was ice cold. Beach waters were warmer and thoroughly enjoyed with direct access from the condos. Cell phone and wifi signals were very weak or non-existant in the condos. "

"This was my first time visiting PCB. Bookit did a great job booking me a very nice condo (Long Beach Resort). It was more than expected. I was travelling alone and I appreciated security presence that made me feel comfortable. The Resort is convenient to attractions and shopping. My vacation turn out to be great."

"My husband, son and niece stayed in a one bedroom condo summer of '10 and it was fantastic. The property is very nice, well maintained, the condo was a great size for 4 people with a full kitchen and sliding doors from both the bedroom and living room to a huge balcony overlooking the ocean. The security at the gate upon entrance was great not to mention the staff was very friendly. It is on Front Beach Rd in the middle of everything. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Panama City. The prices here compared to Destin and Ft Walton Beach is phenomenal. "
