"Hotel was right on the beach. Balcony was smaller that what we were use too. We had a king bed with sleepr sofa. The room was older, needed updating and the sleeper sofa bed was HORRIBLE. Also, we found the location on Front Beach Road to be a little noisy. We will probably not stay here again."

"We had a GREAT VACATION...it was mine and my husbands first vacation without family or amimals in 11 years =) It was great. The room was very spacey for the two of us and had its own kitchen which was great....best part is it is right on the Beach =) We were on the 11th floor so the view was AMAZIng!!! I have alredy recommended this hotel to so many people since being home. I can not say enough great things about it. The room, the location, the staff. It was all great. I have decided that we will be returning to the Legacy often."

"The Legacy ended up being a pretty good stay. The room was older, but not in terrible shape. The room didn't 'feel' the cleanest, but we really didn't notice any disgusting issues. From the balcony, the view of the beach is phenomenal and having an area to sit is just amazing. The inside had every appliance we needed such as a large fridge, toaster, microwave. They charge for Wifi internet which is completely stupid since my 4g coverage was great (Verizon). The continental breakfast is a joke, don't rely on it. However we did grab a few bagels and run out the door in the morning. It's a small breakfast, so it WILL get mobbed by hoards of hungry beach-goers just after 7am.

Super convenient since it's ON the beach and parking was really easy. I suggest parking your car underneath the building in the morning around 9-10am when people are checking out. Then don't move it! If they run out of parking there is an overflow lot across the street, not a big deal unless its raining outside. The Barefoot Bar next door is great and gives you a 10% discount. I'd definitely go back."

"This hotel is just far enough away from Pier Park that you have to get a taxi which it &8.00 each way plus the tip. The bed was not comfortable. The Jaguzzi did not work. They did give us an extra free night for the jaquzzi not working. The maintenance man was very friendly .. The girls behind the desk were not. They are a very busy hotel. Parking not great either. Next time I will stay at a hotel close to Pier Park so we can walk."

"parking was terrible. me and my girls had to walk across the street and park behind a gas station. rooms looked like a basic days inn nothing like i thought a room for 162.00 a night should look. pull out sofa could not be slept on it was so uncomfortable. the tv in the living room didnt work. balcony was shady looking, needed a paint job and needed to be cleaned! staff not very friendly and elevators were a nightmare, had to wait forever to find that you were going up instead of down because lights didnt work! will never stay there again and would not tell a friend!!!"

"room wasnt cleaned every day i had to keep calling to front desk and tell them i want my room cleaned and towels finally had to buy soap cause they wouldn't give us any house keeping was nasty the one doing to breakfast was on the phone the on time so you had to wait on food to be refilled no places to sit cause people couldn't throw there plates away and she wouldn't clean it up!!! doors wouldn't lock and close i had to park across the road the whole time pool was very nasty hot tub didn't work half the time and so very nasty my room smelled like smoke front desk wouldn't change us dont know what coupon book your are surpose to get but we didn't DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY STAYING HERE I PAYED MONEY FOR MY VACATION TO BE SO BAD

"Stayed in a double suite for 3 nights Jul 5-8. Tend to agree more with the negative comments. Fairly noticeable odor when first walked in room. Bathroom faucet was dirty, obviously missed during previous cleaning. First stop after getting settled was Wally World for Lysol and disinfectant wipes. Door to balcony hard to close...guess others had the same problem since we could hear them bang theirs to close too. One remote for two tvs. Staff failed to clean room first day--had to go get resupply of towels. Only cleaned room second day after I asked. Ditto previous comments on parking. Continental breakfast ok, about what I expected. The biggest plus for this place is the beach view. Although I knew this was peak season, I expected a bit more for the $792.00 I paid for three nights. I get the whole supply and demand thing, but felt this was overpriced. I have a friend who has already booked for end of month-- I'm recommending she go elsewhere."

Everything was clean and in good condition in & out of the room. Plenty of lawn chairs w/ pads & unbrella's already set-up on the beach by staff so you don't need to lug a bunch of stuff in/out when spending time at the beach. Breakfast was provided. Family freindly

Staff didn't keep-up with the breakfast bar (I.E. no coffee, sugar) Pull-out bead was extreamly uncomfortable (would bring a pad or inflatable bed to throw over it).

"The check in was a nightmare and the people rude. The breakfast is bad, is not what is advertise. The hotel is in need of an update. The room looks like a cheap motel. They have no parking. Is very overprice. the people that clean takes everything from your nightstand including your personal papers and when you complain at front desk they don't care. The hotel doesn't offer chairs at the beach for their guests. The pool is too small. In general i will not stay there again or recommend to anybody."

"We really enjoyed our trip to Legacy by the Sea in Panama City Beach. I've vacationed many times to PCB and stayed in a small 1 bedroom hotel with 4 or 5 people each time. The 2 bedroom double suite we stayed in at the Legacy was really nice awesome gulf view and the service was really good. The staff was incredibly friendly. The kitchen was nice to have to make sandwiches for lunch and the occasional dinner. There is privacy between the 2 rooms which makes it nice when a teenager wants to stay up late and watch tv. I recommend this place to anyone on a budget but wants the extra room."

"For the cost and to get a condo in June it was 'OK' but don't think it was a great deal. I will pay a little more next time to have an indoor pool and free wi-fi, which it has neither. Staff is friendly but parking is a problem and not a 'fun' place for kids."

"This hotel is aware of credit card fraud but will not advise the guest until after the scam is complete. Scam artist call on the hotel phone, in the middle of the night waking you from a sound sleep. They introduce themselves as the front desk advising the computers crashed and they need your cc info.nnHousekeepping needs improvement. Did not clean the bathroom floor and did not put clean sheets on the bed."

"Spent four nights at Legacy and had a nice time. My only concern was the bed. The king size bed had a matress that needed to be replaced but other than that it was pretty good. Large balcony and a nice set up in the kitchen. I'd stay there again and hope the next time the bed is better. "

"Hotel was outdated but clean. The beds were not very comfortable. It was in a good location, but parking was very limited. If you plan on bringing chairs and an umbrella, I would choose another hotel. There were about 50 chairs and umbrellas set up that cost $40 a day and if you brought your own, you could not set them up in front of the others. There were also jet ski rentals set up on either side of the hotel."

Rooms are dated but if you want brand new rooms and flat screen TVs then go elsewhere and spend A LOT MORE. Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. "I booked a king room with a spearate living area with a kitchen. There was a sofa bed in the living area but that space was so small you couldn't move when the bed was open. There was about 3ft between the sofa bed and the kitchen. The noise level is loud and we were on a no smoking floor but the people in the next room were smoking and the smoke came through the common door. Fortunately the manager of the hotel assisted us to move to another room. The rooms are about a 2-3star. There is not much parking but we were there at an off season time but during the summer this could be a problem. "

"Very nice rooms exellent for the value, the only thing is limited parking but we were always able to find a spot to park with no problem, no Wi-Fi but you can always use the guest internet for free its just right by the front of the check-in desk we were able to save $$$$ on breakfast every morning they have donuts, bagels, yugurts, cereal, milk, coffe, juice, also superwalmart is about 4 miles and you can buy anything to prepare your meals in the room beautifull place to stay, i definetly reccomend this hotel."

"Was visiting for spring break. They charge a $100 deposit per person under age of 25. The room was very clean. The furniture, tv's and decor was very outdated. Parking is very limited however they have sister hotels close by that you can park in if there is not parking in their parking lot. They made us wear wrist bands the entire stay and they had us fill out an inspection paper and checked the room before the we were given the deposit back. Right on the beach. Loud with all the spring breakers. Would probably stay again if i returned."

"Nice hotel, bar/grill restaurant next door and a nice place (Sharkey's) two spots down on the beach. There's a convenience store across the street, with some 'beach' shops. Rental lounge chairs on the beach, but there's plenty of room to lay your own stuff down. Balcony offers a great view. The pier is a 10-15 walk, and it's worth it ($3 charge.) There's a hip new mall across from the pier with plenty of shops and restaurants. Trendy. Nice place for families or couples. ... The Legacy seemed to be a place where regulars come down to the beach from AL & GA ... a tad older folks."

"We arrived early and we knew the check in time was 4pm but lots of the rooms were ready. I don't know but was it because we booked thru an agency that our room was the last to be cleaned? We checked in around 3:30. The room was clean I thought but found hair in the tub and the coffee maker did not work. The lady came to clean she did not vacuum or put any more shampoo or soap in the room. I did not complain because we were only staying two nights. The room was nice but could have been cleaned better. The staff at the front desk when we arrived was really friendly. The breakfast was ok too many people in such a little space."

"We found the room to be clean but outdated which we overlooked for it was clean and the view was fantastic. The kitchen was great since we were on a budget and could not afford to eat out everyday. They do need to replace the couch beds, me and my husband slept on it one night and it was awful. My son did not mind it so we let him have the couch bed. The staff was was always very helpful and efficiency when we needed it. Overall I will stay there again and it is walking distance from pier park."

"Great convenience to beach and nearby restuarants, plain jane decor in rooms but clean and aequate. Parking was limited, need to improve.

Request for non-smoking room not honored, maintenance attempted to cover up smoke smell with room spray but not effective. Since the weaher was beautiful, we were outside most of the time.



Overall our stay was very enjoyable and would come back if could be assured a non-smoking room."

"First of all I read many reviews about this hotel. I found it in excellent condition. The Front Desk staff was very helpful. My name was spelled wrong in my reservation for some reason, but they got it straight. I did panic a little but the desk clerk promised me that I would have a room. They did let us check in. Even though we were there many hours before check in time.

I only had one problem while I was there. There were some adults at the pool drinking. I am not impressed with adults that insist on talking ugly with children around. I told the clerk about the 'glass bottles' around the pool and it was quickly taken care of. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Only con was the parking. Not enough. We are not party people so we didn't leave after 5:30 and didn't have a problem with parking. "

"Everything it was so wonderful the parking is small but if you get lucky you get you spot also i think that people that travel more than 4 hours they should check in more early and check out late (check in 1:00 pm check out 12:00 pm) other then that i give a point from 1 to 10 i give a 9.5.

"We thought it was clean and nice place to stay. Kitchen was ok to cook a small meal in. We ate most of our meals out. Free breakfast had donuts, cereal, muffins and bagels, not very diabetic friendly. Parking is tight but they do offer places to park across the street. Our biggest problem was you had to pay for internet service. I was not aware of this when i booked or i would not have booked there as my husband had to be able to get online for work and i like to get on to check out places to eat and things so we had to take our computers with us and find somewhere they offered free wi-fi. Was somewhat noisy if you are a light sleeper you can hear the traffic outside and the tv in the rooms next to you. Bedroom tv did not have a good picture it had a lot of static but the living room tv was much better. I didn't go to watch tv i went for the beach so that didn't really bother me much. I thought it was a decent place to stay with a good price for ocean front. It advertises that it is within walking distance of pier park but it is over a mile so i would not want to walk there at night but we did walk down on the beach to it during the day. I also like that it had Barefoot Beach Club next door to get lunch at and not have to go far for something to eat. "
