"Location was great! The Continential Breakfast was good! But the room was dirty, we had to mop the floor ourselves with a bath towel when we arrived.The balcony was full of cigarette butts. The beds are old and need to be replaced, but we did have new pillows.Houskeeping was my biggest complaint - dirty,dirty dirty! and we did not have any wash towels. I asked the front desk on my way out the door the one morning and when we returned that evening we still had no wash towels.Next time I will read the reviews - It looks like I would have been warned! Clean it up!!! lots of money for dirty!!!!"

"As for the hotel it was good and bad. Very clean and a very nice view of the Gulf. Did not find the staff all that friendly they almost never smiled. I asked for a light bulb to be put in mt table lamp as it did not have one. They never got me a light bulb. Their vending machines also did not work on my floor. I told them about the problem, but sadly it was never corrected. I would not stay there again nor recommend it to any of my friends"

"This hotel is in a great location. Right on the beach with balcony facing the ocean. The pool area is impressive looking. HOWEVER...the place is old and in desperate need of room updates. Cleanliness is obviously not a priority. After spending all day in the sun, we regularly had to call the front desk for clean towels in order to get a shower because the cleaning stafff STILL had not been to the room...and we still had to wait for over an hour. This was a 4:00 in the afternoon! The pool was dirty...we were there for a week and NEVER saw them clean it except when glass was broken in the pool once. There was dirty, scummy, brown bubbles around the edges of the pool. The poolside bar was open sporadically. Thank goodness the room was paid on points and not with cash...I would have been seriously displeased."
