"3BR/3BATH corner unit. May 2012. Customer service at the front desk and at the beach chairs was unsatisfactory. The showers were all moldy. Dirty, pet stained carpet to the point I was uncomfortable placing the baby on the carpet. The armoire in a child's bedroom is not bolted together so there is a high possibility that if bumped or pulled on, it could fall on the child. TV in one bedroom was broken--no help to fix. Beach chairs have to be reserved each day even though after a big tip on the first day, the guy told us we could have the same chairs. The next day, our belongings, which were bagged up and placed in between the chairs, were out of the bags and thrown all over the beach (30 ft linear distance). The chair guy admitted doing it. The front desk said they had no oversight with the chair people since it was contracted out (easy way to fix that is to cancel the contract and get better people). The corridors to the rooms were so narrow that a cart or baby stroller took up the entire space and no one could pass in either direction. There is no wifi in the condos and only one short cord so multiple people cannot be online at one time. We requested a blanket for the fold out sofa-bed and it took three days of phone calls and visits to the front desk to receive it. There were not enough chairs at the pool. When the "courtesy patrol... was asked to clear chairs that had towels but no people, they would not. When I complained and said that the chair situation was enough to make us not return, his replay was "I don't blame you.... The Calypso is not a "value... type condo. We paid top dollar and I feel like the Motel 6 type places may have been cleaner and had better service. I was hard not to let on to the kids how disappointed all the adults were in the Calypso."

"liked everything except the 40,00 non refundable damage waiver that was not disclosed until i walked up to the counter. this should be disclosed in the price on the bookit web site. i would like to know who gets this money? the owner or the management conpany or do they split it?"

"We stayed 4 nights at the Calypso and everything was excellent! The room was very nice, clean, and roomy. Also the price was better than others we have stayed in before. I would definately recommend staying here, as we will again. Calypso is my new favorite!"

I am a retired airline type who has traveled everywhere and stayed almost everywhere and this experience would be hard to beat for value and quality.The booking was seamless and bookit delivered just what they promised unlike so many times when your promised this and get that!!"

"We loved our room at the Calypso Resort and Towers...We had Gulf Front King Master one Bedroom...so much room...and clean...The front desk was so very nice...We go to the beach twice a year and we always stay at this place. Bookit is so great....they are in Panama City Beach so I can call them up and ask 'hey hows the weather, haha' before I book for the week...I really think they all are beginning to know who I am...seriously...haha....I love Bookit....wouldn't go anywhere else....."

" September 2011-Wonderful place to stay! Close to everything......beach & sunsets are off the chart . We arrived late due to flight delay , front desk was already closed, but it was not a problem. John from Beach Security found out paper work & we got into our beautiful clean Condo with out a hitch. This was my 4th visit to the Calypso & it was again first rate as always. Easy close drive to Airport too:)"
