"For the most part the hotel was adequate for my son & I. It is an older hotel however the staff were friendly & helpful & the room was clean. It is on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world & the view from the balcony was excellent.We were in PCB to visit friends & did not use the facilities so I cannot give an opinion on the condition of them, but for a place to stay, enjoy the beach & sleep I don't think you can do better for the money. There were party people there but we did not have any issues with noise. I would definitely stay there again."

"The hotel needs improvement. The pool located behind office was broke, the only pool available was at the Tides Building and this was not satisfactory at all. If you are to list as a resort then all the property should be available. If not then do not list as a resort in its entirety. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with my needs. Several of the rooms have adjacent rooms for large parties, this makes it very easy to hear other noises and unsafe conditions for my standards. I know I have already written down other properties to stay at in the future. The help at the desk should look for other employment, they deserve to work in better conditions as well."

"This place is a complete joke! We moved
Rooms 3 times. There were people smoking pot next door to us and nothing was done about it. There was beating, banging, screaming and stomping all hours of the night and no hotel security. The bath tub was cracked and felt like it was going to fall thru. The phone in our last room wouldnt work. The room was nasty and in our 7 days at this hotel they never cleaned our room until the 5th day when we complained. We were promised to have full service cleaning after that which we never received. Save your money. We spent the entire vacation stressed about the atmosphere in this hotel and couldn't enjoy any of it!! They ended up refunding us 20% of our stay which still was not enough for all the crap we had to do."

"I got nothing I was promised. The smell was awful. My granddaughters begged us to leave they called it a shack. The pool was not open. Very dissapointed little girls. People yelling all night, every night, beating and banging on things. We did get oceanside, That was pretty much all we got. Had I not already paid in advance, we would have left. Didn't have money to go elsewhere. OH! huge cockroaches also. Phone did not work, remote did not work, the tv even quit working. You could here everything outside and in other rooms as well."

"The accommodations were a 1-2 star at best. The service was poor. While in line a customer walked in and got a similar room the same price. For the price there is usually a comp breakfast but none there. Would never stay there again. The actual TV had to be replaced on friday and saturday. The replacement discontinued working early saturday morning. No ice machine available but a refrigerator. Need I say more?"

"We intentionally booked a room at the Boardwalk Beach resort and when we got there at 3 am there was a trailor in the parking lot area next to the rooms blaring music and serving food and drinks. I wondered how any of the guests got any sleep at that hotel. Then I went to try to check in early just so that my name was in for a room when one came available. The first lady was extremely rude with me and said they do not like to do that and she tries not to. So she then told me to come back at 10 am to check in early. I came back at 10 am and at that point the other lady at the desk informed me that the previous lady's shift had ended and that I had to come back at noon because that was when pre registration started. To me both front desk associates I spoke to were very rude and they should have honored what the other person had said especially after a 12 hour drive with 3 kids in the car. Not to mention they charged me extra fees. Thank god by noon we were greeted with a male associate at pre registration time that actually made a phone call for us so that we could get our room upgraded and to the Nautical watch Condos for the same price. These were much better and more family orientated for sure!"

"Hi,
When I initially booked, I thought my family and I were going to stay Paradise.
The pictures were very deceiving and I was very displeased with the choice that we made, however the price was really good.
The issues I had were, obviously someone had an almond party because they were all in the sofa bed mattress, all on the floors, the tub was awful, the door did not latch, the lamp had a shorttage, the alrm clock didnt stop ticking, the 'kitchen'... you know I can go on and on but the bottom line is this was the most HORRIBLE, FILTHY experience that I encountered in my lifetime of traveling. I informed the staff and they even came up to my room at Midnight to try to resolve the problems. We had just checked in around 11:00pm. This nice gentleman and lady brought clean towels and linen. There was a foul odor coming from the Comforter. They could not believe it either and if they had not seen it for themselves, I probably would have been made the Vacationer from hell. I kept calm because all I wanted was the issue to be resolved. The next morning, I waited for the Manager to call me, it didn't happened but I did speak with another Front Desk Manager. She recorded the concerns and they ended up moving us to another room which was better and more spacious and very clean. I hate throwing my career around but I am employed for a local news Station in Atlanta, and this is the line of work I do, and I informed them of that Luckily I was not working because they would have had a FIELD DAY with this.
My only suggestion is just continue to be honest about what consumers invest their money in.

"The beach was beautiful as we had heard, the hotel needs to be torn down and replaced by condos!!!! For the price we paid it was ridiculous...If we had paid one half of what we did it MIGHT have been acceptable. The rooms are way too small . The bathroom is about the size of a small closet, with no bars in the shower and no shelves of any kind. Bathroom floor dirty. We used towels to walk on. The overall cleanliness was poor. The sidewalks and elevator were dirty. Elevator was past inspection date. The free breakfast (for 2 we had 4 people) was a joke. If we had read the reviews before we went we would NOT have stayed there. Save your money, rent a condo and have fun!!!"

"I would never recommend this Hotel to anyone!! The room was dirty. There were people standing outside our door at all hours of the night yelling and fighting with each other. And turning our door knob trying to get in our room in the middle of the night. Needless to say, we got no sleep. We go to the beach for a relaxing time and this experience was not at all relaxing. I would say stay clear of this place. And I would not advise anyone with small children to go there!!!!"

"The Hotel is nothing like the pictures on the internet. the only thing I can say good about it is that it's right at the beach and the pool area was nice, and the location. Our room was filty. the sheets was stained the carpet was horrible, the elevator was filthy, they had crime scene tape around some parts of the property. This hotel needs to be on Hotel Impossible!!!!! I will not recomend this hotel to anyone!!!!!!"

"Hole in the wall!! Literally! When we arrived the room smelled like vomit and there were holes in the walls in the bathroom. There was no ice in the ice machines. Our beach towels were stolen off of the banisters outside our room. When we asked for more pillows, it took hours to get them to us. Our stay was for Aug 3 through Aug 6 but somehow while we were out for lunch the staff decided to check us out. When we return to our room, we were not able to get in with our room keys. When we went down to inquire what was going on, we were asked if we had extended our stay. We informed the staff that our checkl out date was the 6th. They looked at us like we were crazy. I had to show the staff my confirmation papers before they would issue more rooom keys. When we did finally check out the next day we were asked how our stay was. When we told them all of the issues that we had, there were no apologies or anything! I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy! One other note, someone needs to be aware that the elevators have not been inspected in a couple of years!!"

"The room was not as nice as the pictures on the internet. For what we paid for the room, it was a let down. The hallways were dirty; the elevators were dirty; there was not enough parking on the Hotel side for the amount of rooms there; we found food left in the fridge from the last occupants; the room didn't smell, but we didn't have that clean feeling, and the furniture look like they found it at Good Will, very used. The view of the beach was great! Our friends, that stayed in another room, found blood on their pillow when they took the pillow case off, and their clock didn't work. The mattress on one of the beds made you feel like the bed was at an angle when you were laying on it. Very disappointing!

"'Extremely Disappointed'. Please don't waste your money by staying at this hotel. It is run down, dirty, bed linens stained, bed pillows were stained with blood. The room stunk. The bathroom/ tub was dirty. The carpet was filthy. Poor housekeeping. The elevator lights didn't work most of the time. The hotel needs to be closed down. This hotel looks nothing like the pictures you see on the Internet. The bed mattresses are stained and sags. The list of complaints are endless. I will never stay at this hotel again. NEVER Again!!!!! I definitely would not recommend it to anyone. "

"Overall our stay was excellent the room was clean and very nice for the price and I only have a few complaints: there was never any ice in the ice machine's, the free breakfast could have had a few more choices and they need more staff working it you had to stand in line for about 30 min or more. to place your order then had to wait another 10-15 to get food, wish they had better internet (wifi) connection and I wish they would have had elevators on sides instead of middle of hotel !!!!"

"Overall this was a pretty good stay. The hotel itself is pretty old, but the room we stayed in was very clean. When we arrived I had to stand in line for close to an hour to check in. Really need some more staff and terminals on check in. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was very basic but for the price we paid I believe it was worth it. I will not stay here again. "The room smelled horrible. The elevator was sooooo slow so we used the stairs the whole stay. The one time we did ride the elevator it was filled with cigerette smoke. They only allowed one car to park. Any other car had to be parked in the overflow parking lot which was about a 1/2 mile away and we had to walk to the hotel. I will NEVER stay in this hotel again."

"LET ME FIRST START BY SAYING I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS. THIS WAS MY FAULT. THE LOTEL LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES. THIS PICTURE MUST HAVE BEEN TAKING WHEN THE STRUCTURE WAS FIRST BUILD. "Worst motel experience of my Life. Everything about it was terrible. The door facing had over 20 holes in it where the door chain had been put on and taken off. To flush the toilet you had to continue to hold down the handle until it flushed or it wouldn't. The sink was mostly stopped up so it took several minutes for the water to go down. The television reception was terrible and snowey. I booked the room for 2 nights but we were so disgusted with the filth that we left after the 1st day. It was worth throwing away the cost for the second night stay than to stay and be disgusted. Will never stay there again!!"

"God, the hotel rooms were HORRIBLE!!!! Hey, even an old hotel that is clean.... is nice. Took them two hours to find me a suitable room, while they were tryna sell me a condo room for an additional $250.00....

" We had ground floor room with 2 double beds, a microwave, coffee pot, fridge, table and a view of the ocean! This was perfect for us. We don't stay in our rooms enough to need all the 'extras' that the condos have/offer. The pool was a nice size and right outside of our room! We enjoyed the little balcony as well! This was the perfect place for what we needed! We will definitely be staying here again. The FREE breakfast was also a wonderful value, a free HUGE waffle or breakfast sandwich (bagel, sausage, egg, cheese biscuits, etc) and 1 free drink (coffee/juice). The staff was polite, and professional while still providing service with a personal touch. "

"The first day we stayed when we returned from the beach our room door had been left open by the cleaning staff. "This place was horrible, smelled bad, breakfast is more expensive than the mcdonalds down the street. Someone vandalized my car. Every time me and my fiance went out at night, we were harassed by some hooligans. Got attacked by 3 hooligans on the board walk. Room had a roach in it, freezer was frosted and nothing fit in it, fridge didn't cool down the drinks. Bathroom was terrible holy hell. No parking spots left after 9 p.m so we just walked everywhere. Hidden fees they called it 'Insurance' about 460 dollars for the fri,sat,sun night stay was horrible for the money. We waited in line literally an hour. Do not come here , wait for some where else to get some rooms open. Or spend your hard earned money for a 49 dollar a night hotel with roaches and bed bugs for 115 dollars a night. oh and the beach view was a big window that didnt open and a palm tree blocking the 'ocean view' ."

"There was no ice in the ice machines and none of the staff offered to get us any. Would have been nice to know that the breakfast is like a continental breakfast where you just get to pick one item. I did like the fact that the hotel is right there on the beach and we saw a lot of people walking around keeping the property clean. The hotel was ok for the money i just plan to save more to get a little better accomodations for my next trip. Also didn't know i was gonna have to pay an extra 10.00 for some fees."

"This hotel is horrible! Dirty sheets, dirty carpets, nasty smelling rooms, crappy beds, and lets not forget the broken toilets. I think the housekeeper even left the cleaning supplies behind because they were right there on the table. Way too much money for such a crappy hotel. Gulf view???? Where at because we never saw it, it must of been the palm trees that were blinding our view. NEVER again will we stay there. The only thing good about this hotel is that its right on the beach. MAJOR disappointment!!"

"Overall, the hotel was fine. Right on the beach just as stated. the only problem we had was noise at night. They did not have security to maintain quiet around the hotel. We had loud people walking down the walkway all hours of the night being very loud and disrespectful."

"I was very disappointed. This was advertised as a family resort. I was afraid to take my kids to the pool because of all the alcohol drinking and cigarette smoking. The pool was nasty. The rooms were nasty. Employees were smoking in the linen closet which the smell came out as we walked by every day.
Roach bugs crawling on the floor in the dining area. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone."

"If the price was 59/night I could have understood why the room was so nasty. Out dated linens, one of the beds had sand in it. I did not want to take my shoes off in the room it was so nasty. Smelled sour, basically it was a roof over our head and indoor plumbing with easy access to the beach."

"Hotel location is perfect, that's about all the good I can say. We arrived,went to find our room we walked around lost for about 30 minutes. There was no one in the building to direct you. If they had room numbers posted for what floors that would have been a great help(ex.3000-3200 third floor). Some of the railing was loose on the balcony. The ice machine was broken in the whole building all weekend long.The bag buggy was broken on one side.My husband saw a rat run under the soda machine in the lobby.The elevator holds three people at a time. No security cameras in lobby. The hotel was booked solid and needs upgrading with the money they are making."

Photos of the hotel showed a nice room (in reality smelled like stale smoke and dirty socks), a nice big pool (in reality was a small square pool that was so overcrowded we couldn't ever get in.) the elevators were slow and smelly, the ice machines were broken, when we first got there our room keys wouldnt open our door. "I would not recommend anyone to stay at this place. The staff was very slow at the front desk. The elevator was very hot and had a terrible smell. When we got to our room the smell was worse, the cable didn't work right, the blinds would not close, the comforters on the bed were nasty and burnt, the room was not clean at all. We tried to take the kids to the pool and it was full of waterbugs and dirt and smelt like beer. The beds were hard as a rock and the bathroom was just plain nasty."

"This was a fithy hotel. Mold on the curtains. The smell in room smelled like dirty feet. Windows where so dirty we couldn't enjoy our ocean view that we paid extra for. The TV remote would not work. Bathroom was disgusting. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone."

The bathroom was tiny and you could hear water under the tub when you stepped into it. If you are 18 looking for some where to stay for a party weekend, go for it. If you are older looking for a decent place to stay, don't go."

"Aweful, would not recommend this hotel/resort to any other person(s). No security presence, parking, Ice, Power-(1 day outage for entire resort) Cable-(worked sparingly). Elevator slow or not working properly, used the unsafe stairwell (s) the entire stay on the fourth floor (Room 4438).
Both beds were uncomfortable, room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. Mini refrigerator needs defrosting and the freezer portion is the only portion that worked. Needless to say, this is what happens when you make a last minute decision to take a trip to the beach for 'Fourth of July Weekend'. The only positive, we were right on the beach which is why we go to Panama City in the first place. I must say the staff was welcoming and helpful."

"The over all experience was about 3 of 5. The staff at the front desk was very nice however all other staff rather cleaning or passing by a manage looked very unhappy. Our room was just that of a standard hotel dark drab but clean. I only had to stay one night due to a last min decision to stay in PCB one more night. I would not stay at the Boardwalk for any length of time."

"This was our very first vacation as a family and it wasn't as great as we had planned. The beach was great! The hotel was a different story. The ice machines were broken, the room had a smell in it as we walked in, very costly for the stay. Elevators were very hot. Never got our coupons from the front desk. All snack machines on the floors were broken and the hotel wouldn't refund money. Cable kept going in and out. The refrig didn't work. Too much to mention."

This Hotel have to be making money for what they charge so i dont see why they dont remodel the whole thing. "The room at the Boardwalk Hotel was awful, I am never staying there again. My fiance and I went for a weekend to get away and right when we got there we were very disappointed with the appearance of the hotel because it was very rundown looking and our room was not clean. There was a roach in our room, urine left on the back of the toilet where housekeeping obviously did not clean, our bath tub was clogged and to top off the weekend my fiance and I both got bed bugs from staying there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!"

"The Boardwalk Hotel has changed. A friend and I stayed at the Boardwalk last year at the end of May. It was dirty, food was awful and the staff was unfriendly. I was hesitant on trying it again but I did. So different this time. The hotel was clean, food was good and the staff was friendly. Sure hope they stay that way. It was a great mini vacation for me and I will come back."

The front desk lady was just great and so sweet, I had such a hard time traveling that day, and they definitely showed me some Southern Hospitality! "My stay at this hotel was okay. It took me about 1 hour to check in, I am not a patient person, but when it was my time to check in Chanika, the front desk clerk, was so friendly and helpful with her advice, all te bad things I wanted to say seemed to escape my memory. My room had a very nice view....try to get room 4212 it is perfect! I was leary after reading the reviews but I found just the opposite. My room was clean, the carpet wasn't spotless but it was okay, I felt comfortable walking barefoot at times. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, I had ample towels. The mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but I did not expect to sleep like I sleep at home. Overall my stay here was comfortable."

"Room was extremely small. Not very clean, but at $ 89 per night, didn't expect too much. Rained most of the time we were so we didn't get to spend a lot of time on the beach. Going up and down the wet stairs was scary because the stairs and walk ways were very slippery. Need to add grips to the stairs before a lawsuit happens. Won't stay at this place again, but again... didn't expect much because of the rates."

"We stayed here for the weekend. We had to get our entire sleeper sofa removed f the room. It was wet with urine and molded! Not just in one spot but the entire sofa. Our toilet wouldn't flush and the shower wouldn't drain. The pool was overcrowded and everything was just dirty. They argued about giving me my free breakfast I was promised in my booking. The tv remote didn't work. The list goes on."

"When we first arrived, we had to wait in a long line for an hour & half. There wasn't but 2 or 3 employees on the desk. Finally got to the desk & checked in. We got a 1st floor room on the beach side, which was clean & really nice & fit our accomidations of 5. We stayed 2 nights & 3 days. We had great time on our weekend get away. Arrived Fri., went swimming in beach & pool. Went out to eat did a few activites & came back went to bed. Sat. morning we got up went to do a little grocery shopping. (snacks, donuts (for breakfast), drinks, & etc.) We had only 2 Free coupons for each day's breakfast of a breakfast sandwich or waffle & juice or coffee. So we had to get something for the other 3 people in the room, for breakfast. When we got back from grocery shopping. We went out to the beach & then to the pool. Went back to room, got dressed & went out for some sightseeing & picking up our coupon book at the Pier Park. We used one of the coupons to go into one of the museums. Then after we ate dinner & returned to our room about 10 P.M. No one had cleaned the room. (at least changed the beds & put clean towels in the room, & put more cups & supplies in there.) Anyway, the next morning, we got up, packed up, loaded up & checked out. Did some more sightseeing, ate dinner & headed home.
Next time we come down, we will stay some where else, where every member of our room get to eat a breakfast & we will have room service."

"The staff at this 'establishment' is extremely friendly and very cordial. This is probably due to the guilty conscience of allowing people to book rooms at this 'Resort Hotel'. When we checked in the first thing we noticed was the large puddle surrounding the refrigerator. Then we saw that the 'Gulf View' room with balcony that we reserved was in fact a Palm Tree View with a partial view of the pool and at best a minimal view of anything resembling beach. We then discovered that the toilet was broken, not as in 'will not flush', but as in 'about to fall off of the wall.' the person at the front desk was very accomodating and tried to get us another room. The first alternative smelled like mold and we could not access the second, because the keys would not work. We feel slightly cheated in the fact that we paid the higher rate for a gulf view and didn't get it. This included sections of the 'resort' being closed because the roof inexplicably fell in. "

"Upon arriving at the hotel, it was extremely difficult to check in due to the set up of parking lot. There were cars parked everywhere.. I stood in line for about 15 min in due to so many people checking in which I really didn't mind. Staff up front was friendly. The pool was always over crowded so my kids were unable to enjoy it. The pool is located in parking lot rather than behind hotel so you are unable to view the beach/ocean while laying out. The rooms seemed clean although everything was old, like they need to update everything. When we moved mattresses they were in need up upgrades as well. It was extremely loud at night while you were trying to sleep due to people yelling out in the hallways. I would not consider myself picky and I think this hotel has potential, however I would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone else. I hope they plan to make upgrades soon. It's such a beautiful beach and we drove many miles to enjoy it."

"This hotel is old...you get what you pay for, it's not perfect. Check in was terrible, I stood in line for an hour. I guess everyone arrived at the same time I did. The bathroom did not look clean we mentioned it to staff and they recleaned it. Don't spend much time in the room so all I need is a shower and decent bed, I guess this met that. "I booked a beach view room. Imagine my surprise when I ended up right behind the pool.
I also asked for a balcony. I ended up on the 1st floor.
My key card wouldn't open my back door, so we got locked out and had to walk all the way around to get back in our room.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly, but I definitely didn't get what I wanted. If I didn't have infant twins and it wasn't raining I would have gone to the front desk again to complain, but I was too tired at that point."

"We were hesitant to stay at the Boardwalk because of the 'not-so-good' reviews we had read. We decided to go ahead and give the Boardwalk a try and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Once we arrived, we needed to add another room to our reservation and wanted it to be nearby. They found us two rooms side by side although the hotel was almost completely booked. Once we checked in, we found that the air conditioner in one of our rooms wasn't blowing cold air. Within 45 minutes of calling the front desk, maintenace had removed the cooling unit (motor) and replaced with a new one and we had cold air. Would definitely stay here again!"

"room was not clean. one bed had dirty sheets on it. toilet was loose on floor and had to be real careful. sink faucets were loose and leaked.no toilet paper and took 3 hrs. to get some.cleaning staff not friendly at all. also took til sat evening to get coupon book. that was on 16th left on 17th didnt do us any good. also looks nothing like pics on website of boardwalk resort and convention center. party going on at outside which i assume was rented out went on until midnight with music u could hear for 6 blocks but people at party took up parking spaces we paid for. had to park way away from room and walk. would never go back."

"The saying, 'You get what you pay for', is true for this hotel. This hotel is as basic as they come. The rooms are small, the beds old, and the pillows flat. However, the overall price of $100 at a room on the beach is reasonable. The problem with this hotel is more so the clientele. The types of people who stay at this hotel are generally very loud and not respectfull of other people. People are partying and carrying on all hours of the night and into the morning. THE HOTEL SEEMS TO DO NOTHING ABOUT THE NOISE. Even with the door closed and on the fifth floor, I can still hear people yelling, screaming, and partying at the pool area. The hotel lets this behavior continue."

"This was the worst experience we have had while staying at PCB. The hotel was the poorest quality I have ever had to put my family in. Not only was the cleanliness unacceptable I did not know we needed a gaurd to watch our vehicle. My 2010 Yukon was vandalized! Someone either was trying to break into it or really needed the plastic molded door scraper. While they removed this part they damaged the door with their prying tool!
Bottom line if you are going to have low rates you need to advise people that 'since our rates are so low, we provide low quality stays, low quality rooms, no security for your property, so....... enjoy our crappy hotel'"

"Our stay at the Boardwalk Beach Resort was great. The location was fantastic (right on the water and within walking distance to clubs and restaurants). They let us check in early, which was really appreciated. You can tell the hotel is on the older side, but they seem to keep everything clean, so it didn't really bother me. The only thing that was slightly annoying was you could hear everything going on outside your door when the AC wasn't running to drown out the noise. A family with young children was right next door and they were hanging out on the balcony area early in the morning, which made sleeping in hard.
I didn't really appreciate the mandatory $2.95 tax charge for 'unlimited phone use' when I didn't even use the phone a single time. And if you're younger than 25, watch out for the security deposit you have to pay, which they won't even tell you about until after you've booked your room and paid for the non-refundable reservation.
All in all, I would say my stay in Panama City Beach was really awesome and I would return to this hotel."

"From the arrival to check out was not what I expected. First, the hotel staff (housekeeping) act as if they didn't know where the front entrance was, I thought that was very odd. Second, once we got to the check in counter, we had to pay for services we would not be using 'mandatory fees' that wasn't fair. Third, one of the rooms smelled so bad we had to change twice, because of the smell. Then once in, the rooms wasn't cleaned very well. We had items in our rooms from the last guest, water tumblers, medication (loose pills) on the floor and under the bed. At this point i'm very upset because I have a 1 year old child. The shower was slow to drain, I guess because of the sand that's left in after leaving the beach. Lastly, if you want a view choose beachfront, because poolside just means the side the pool is on (we had no view of the pool). "

"The day we checked in and got to the room, the bathroom had not been cleaned. The toilet had urine all over it and down the side, the floor was dirty and hair was everywhere. We called the front desk and complained and was told someone would be up first thing in the morning. I was ok with that because it was late when we checked in. So I got some bathroom cleaner and cleaned the toilet myself. The next morning came and went and no one showed up to clean the bathroom. We happened to be in the room when the housekeeper came by and told her what was going on and she wrote down our complaint on a piece of paper and said someone would come clean the bathroom. I'm thinking you're the housekeeper so why does someone else have to come clean it. No one ever showed up. We later found out she was the housekeeping manager. We then called the front desk again and complained and was told the manager would be in later and to call back. The manager was never onsite and we had to drive to another of their properties in order to try to catch the manager in his office. After several attempts, we finally were able to talk to the manager. He was very apologetic and offered to give us a refund of a portion of our reservation. We checked out the next day and after two weeks we never received the refund. So I called Bookit and was informed that the manager never called them to issue us a refund. DO NOT stay at this hotel. The rooms are awful and the customer service is TERRIBLE. We will not be coming back!! "

"I was a bit skeptical about booking this hotel because of the reviews others had left. Against my better judgement I booked it anyway at 89 bucks a night how bad could it be? We arrived at check in eager to get to the beach. When I checked in the staff was polite and even gave us a ground floor room. Excellent beach access and great views. Room was very clean! Beach was not due to the 'senior' season. Beer cans, bottles, broken glass, trash ect littered the beach. I am disappointed in the youth who party here. Respect things others enjoy! Other than that we had a great time! Location was convenient, price was right, clean room, and friendly staff. Thank you!"

"When I booked with bookit.com, I booked a room that sleeps six. I called and asked could I make the reservation if I only had four names and was advised I could add the names later. I booked the room. When I tried to add the two names, I was told that I was not an option by a bookit agent. During our stay, four people showed up at our front door and used a key issued to them by the front desk and opened our door on my wife and daughter. They began to argue with my wife that the room belonged to them. My wife called the front desk and the clerk said I would have to come to the front desk and straighten things out. This took place on the evening I had purchased a Florida non-resident fishing license and was my only evening to fish. I had to leave my boat and gear with someone to watch while I went to the front desk and stood there for 15 minutes in nothing but shorts so they could fix their mistake. My wife then came and told me none of our keys worked. We were all locked outside our room and could not get to our fishing gear until I had obtained new keys. The clerk said the problem was fixed, but not once apologized. I also checked with the front desk and they said that I could add people to the room for no additional charge, it's the same price for four as six and that was not a problem. The hotel itself advised they have problems with people who have made reservations thru bookit.com. I arrange vacations and book travel for groups and unless something is corrected or changed, bookit.com is off my list to my clients."

"We enjoyed our trip to PCB. The hotel is dated but is as clean as it could be. I was impressed by the presence of housekeeping throughout the property. The linens were clean. there is a huge difference in the amenities at the condo and at the hotels though that was discouraging. The main point is that if a family is looking for a place to stay on the beach that can be affordable and steps from the gulf.. you will be satisfied. If you are looking for upgrades and fancy, you may wish to spend more for the condo. Our room was clean (although outdated) and the pool was refreshing. AND the beach is just steps away. "

"This hotel was affordable and on the beach. It was as clean as a dated hotel can be. Staff were kind and present at all hours. The hotel could use a facelift to the inside of the rooms but the linens were clean and housekeeping was in place. The amenities are really only for those staying in the condos which was disappointing!!! I would recommend this hotel to families who are interested in vacationing affordable on the beach and not concerned with fancy upgrades. There is the pool and the ocean. "The room and environment was not what we expected for my family. The mirror looked like it had been spray painted, the lamp (the only light in the room) had a lamp shade that had been cut and glued back together. The toliet paper dispenser had been pulled off the wall and glued back (not very well). The TV remote did not match (or operate) the TV. Parking was a real issue and our car was drawn on while parked in the lot. There were cars without the parking pass parked in the lot. We were unable to take advantage of the pool as there were no times where the area was not full with people sitting on the steps, hanging on the ladders, and when chairs were available to sit down. There needs to be at least an occasional presents of hotel staff to regulate what goes on at the pool area; as much I observed was not family oriented. There should also be a hotel limit on the number of people that can stay in one room. We were not able to obtain our coupon book because authorized personnel were not present at guest services booths each time we went. The staff members at guest services (Pier Park) were very rude. Our final attempt to obtain the coupon booklet ended in the main office not opening until 12:00 noon; so we were unable to get the coupon book that was part of the package. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Everytime we passed a staff member we were greeted or if we asked for something our needs were meet or question answered."

"We usually go to PCB every year. The hotel was, in my opinion, the cleanest facility that we have stayed in yet. The staff was very courteous, and spoke to us everyday, even if it was just to say 'Good Morning'. Small talk like that means a lot to us, it makes us feel welcome. "This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Check- in took forever and when we finally got to our room it had a horrible odor in it. We told the receptionist and she let me look at two more rooms but they were in the same condition so we just stayed in the first room. We were suppose to have wifi and did not. I am a business woman and could not use my computer at all. This was ridiculous! Had I known this I would have never booked this place but of course they would not give me a refund so my family and I were stuck here. There was not a laundry mat on the premises either. What hotel does not have a washer and dryer? The room did not have an information book in it. I was suppose to get free breakfast for 2 and a free coupon book for pier park mall, which I never received . I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was just bad! The receptionist dont tell you anything you have to wander around and find everything on your own!"

"I was extremely dissappointed at the accomodations at the hotel and convention center. The rooms were dirty. The rugs were not cleaned. When we took a shower the tub overflowed. And no one cleaned the rooms. They even move us to another room/. At first it was ok, but no one came to clean that room eitther ( I had 2 rooms) We went to complain, they mentioned that due to spring break there would be minimal cleaning The personal at the front dest said it was stated in the paperwork. At check in, no one gave us any paperwork that stated cleaning would be at a minimal. I understand during spring break how bust it is, but that is no excuse for accomodations that are not clean to begin with and no cleaning at all. I would never recommend this property to anyone. "This is an older establishment. I have been going to PC my whole life. I am 41 and it has been there a lot longer than that. That being said, I had pretty low expectations to begin with, but was pleasantly surprised. The gulf front view room was a lot larger than any hotel room I've stayed in. The room was clean but does need a carpet upgrade. The bathroom was spotless and we had plenty of towels. The bed was even comfortable enough that my back didn't hurt each morning as expected. I had my 2 teenage daughters with me and could only work out staying 2 nights. Most places require at least a 3 night minimum if not the whole week during spring break. This was a huge plus. The pink sheet referred to earlier is for those age 25 and under. I had no hidden fees, there was a daily phone fee that was explained perfectly in all the information I saw. All in all, I had a pleasant stay with my girls and we enjoyed every minute. I would love to have stayed in a nice condo somewhere, but for the actual amount of time spent in the room, I can't knowingly waste that kind of money in this economy."

"let me start by saying i didnt have high expectations of this hotel to begin with and i'd glad i didnt pay a penny more for it. its an old hotel, no doubt about it, but our room was clean enough to be healthy and decent enough to be comfortable. we requested extra towels and got them quickly. i enjoyed the 2 bars...one by the pool, but inside. the other outside by the beach. drinks were strong. the front desk folks were nice..i wasnt happy with my first room becasue it didnt have a balcony and they allowed me to look at 2 other rooms with balconies and switch with no fuss. its in a pretty good location, close to walmart, wonder works, mini golf, restaurants, bars and 2 clubs. again, i didnt have high expectations to begin with, but on average i enjoyed my stay. I wouldnt recommend it to those with high standards and expectations. I would recommend it to those who just want an inexpensive but decent room on the beach for a few days.."

"WORST HOTEL EVERRRRR.....HAD TO ASK FOR THEM TO CLEAN THE ROOM THATS PART OF THEIR JOB IS TO CLEAN THE ROOM EVERYDAY. THE BLINDS WAS BROKE HAD TO ASK FOR THAT TO GET FIXED. "This was the worst hotel I have ever visited! After we drove 9 hours, it took over 30 minutes in line to check in. There were people behind the desk and not all were actually working...when asked if they could help, they said no. Pictures are very deceiving. The rooms are not that nice and the bathroom was way too small! It was a great gulf view, but no private balcony...so we couldn't even keep the curtains open to look at the view because people walking by can just look right into your room. But the best advice about staying here I can give you is....TAKE ALL YOUR VALUABLES to the beach!! My daughter took a friend and while we were on the beach, housekeeping came in and stole $200 from her purse!! Definitely will NOT stay here again!!"

"there is a lot of maintenance work that needs to be done on this resort. Toilet was not even stable to the ground, mold in corners of the floor, television wouldn't work unless you hit the top of it, dust, spiders, did not have free ice for the guest, alot of attention was paid to the outside of the building if they would put a lot more on the inside of their rooms they may have it together."

"This is by far the WORST place I have ever stayed. If your choice is to stay there to cut cost or stay home - - do yourself a favor and stay home. My family stayed there for 5 nights and our two rooms were serviced by housekeeping once. No one working there seems to have a clue about anything. The one nice thing was when we finally ran out of toilet paper due to lack of housekeeping service- they did send someone up with a roll - - - -I have too many bad comments to write here - the other negative reviews of this hotel are true - - stay away from this one!"

"Overall good service. hotel great for teenagers partying for spring break. Several people kicked out. Gulf view does not mean a balcony! the ad is decieving. We were given a room with one window that didn't even open. No balcony. I was very disappointed as this was my favorite part about the hotel. We were not given a balcony. Even though all the guests around us had a balcony and paid the same price at the door. Overall the trip was good, the hotel was nice. They didn't have an ice machine and sold it for 3.00 a bag. And housekeeping loved to wake you up at 9:30 in the morning. I wouldn't recommend the trip to a family, but for teenage spring breakers it does the trick at a great price."

AND TO BRING THE PINK PAPER BACK TO THEM WITH IN AN HOUR. SO WE DID. NOTHING WAS DAMAGED AND NOTHING WAS MISSING BESIDES AN ICE BUCKET AND WE NOTICED A CRACK IN THE BATHROOM CEILING. WHEN SHE GOT IN SHE WENT STRAIGHT TO THE BED BY THE DOOR WHICH I SLEPT IN, PULL THE COVERS AND SHEETS OFF OF THE LEFT FOOT OF THE BED AND THEN ASKED US DID WE KNOW THAT THERE WAS A RIP IN THE MATTRESS. WE SAID NO, SO SHE GLANCED AT THE REST OF THE ROOM DIDNT CHECK THE OTHER BED NOR FULLY PULL OFF THE COVER TO CHECK THE WHOLE BED. WE GET TO CHECK OUT, AND SHE TRIED TO CHARGE US $275 FOR SOMETHING WE DIDNT DO! AND ON TOP OF THAT SHE COULDNT EVEN FIND OUT PINK SHEET. SO SHE TOLD US 'DONT WORRIED ABOUT IT GO AHEAD ON' WIITH AN ATTITUDE! SO DAYS LATER MY SISTERS CARD HAD BEEN CHARGED $200!! IT TOOK HER CALLING THE COORPERATE OFFCE TO GET THEM TO PUT THE MONEY BACK ON HER CARD!! THESE PEOPLE WILL CON YOU! "Got to the hotel and convention center to be told 'Sorry your room has been double booked, we can give yo uan upgrade with two double beds and a balcony'. I booked a room that has two double beds AND a sofa sleeper, how was the new room an upgrade with only two double beds?! After going to the front desk 4, yes 4 times!!, we finally got two roll out beds in our room. The ladies at the front desk were useless, cards stopped working after 2nd day there of a 5 day stay. The lady gave our party of 5 free beer cards for the bar, well they must've told the bartenders to only serve us one free beer from 12-3 because thats all we ever got, they only served to people without the cards. Thank god it was springbreak and we all were drunk most of the time unless this would've been a miserable experience. "

"when i looked at the pictures of the room i thought they were okay, but once i walked in there i was completely disappointed. they don not have light bultbs instead they only have 2 lamps and it had doors that connected rooms (for large groups) but they didnt have a way to lock them!!! i was i the mindle of something and our neightbors tried to open it thank god i had put the iron board in fron of it to sostain it, otherwise they would have came in!. the Hotel had a really bad smell when going through the stairs (like urine). the stuff was somehow friendly but they could do a lot more better. they charge a 45 norefoundable fee if you are under 25 which is dumb because if something happends they are still going to charge you more. for the price they charge htey could do some improvement!!"

"Spring Break is the worse TIME at this RESORT , The Room did have any Chairs ,The PRICE did not meet the QUALITY . "This was the worst experience ever. There was hair on the shower walls, the electrical outlet wasn't secure to the wall, the toilet was made for a 4 year old, the beds were awful, and then they charged me $100 because there was smoking in the room. "Please heed my warning!!! I read these reviews and went anyway. I normally stay in one star cheap motels, and I thought this couldn't be any worse. Boy was I wrong! Those motels are the Ritz compared to this place. My room was what I expect from a place that charges $50 a night not $100. The furniture was broken, the beds were awful, there wasn't even any complimentary shampoo for guests. This all pales in comparison to the cleanliness of the room. When we were settling in we moved the bed covers to discover trash. But, it didn't stop there, oh no, there was more trash. Im pretty sure they didn't even look under the beds. Please don't waste your money... go stay at the Travelers lodge down the road and use the money you save to drive to the public beach. I am still waiting to hear back from the manager to see if I will get my money back for this horrible experience. We'll see."

THE MORNING OF THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO THE DESK AND ONCE AGAIN ASK FOR HOUSEKEEPING TO CLEAN OUR ROOMS..THEY NEVER CAME..INSTEAD THEY BOUGHT THE NEW SHOWER CURTAIN I HAD REQUESTED...THAT NIGHT I ASKED FOR US TO BE MOVED TO ANOTHER ROOM..NOT ONLY WERE THESE ROOMS DIRTY LIKE THE FIRST ONES BUT THERE WAS MILDEW ON THE CEILING & THE WALLS, THE ODOR OF MOLD WAS PRESENT AND BOTH OF OUR TUBS WAS CLOGGED ONCE AGAIN. I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT BLEACH AND PINE-SOL TO HELP WITH THE FILTH..WHEN WE ASK THE NIGHT MANAGER FOR OUR MONEY BACK OR AT LEAST HALF OF IT. Sheets clean but had holes, pillowcases frayed. Room needed lots of maintenance, much like a very old home. Everything worked for our visit but we weren't sure how long it would remain working. Staff was wonderful given the accommodations. Looking for luxury, this is not the place. You get what you pay for here."

"This place looked awesome over the internet, but once we got in we called because we were early getting down there. They did let us checkin early but when I talked to them they said our room and everything would be ready by noon and once we showed up we waited in line for an hour. The front desk would take care of people just walking up to the counter and not standing in the line. Once we finally got up there the woman rushed through our information and sent us on. Our room was suppose to be a pool view room, well all we got to see was the back of a building. Our tub wasn't draining very well when we first got in the room then it stopped draining completely and we called the come to fix it drained one good time then stopped right back up. The good thing about this hotel is the crew was always making sure that we had towels and the walk to get to the beach was literally right around the building. I don't suggest this place to anyone in my family, but I would say that if there are no kids going and you want something cheap this is a pretty good place."

"Pros: Great view of the gulf. Right on the beach. Walmart not too far. Great, Friendly Staff. Clean rooms. Sufficient breakfast. If you want a simple, neat place to go to and enjoy the beach, this is for you.
Cons: Small bathroom. We were hoping our room would have a private balcony to view the gulf, but it was a shared balcony - so if you want a private balcony, make sure with the hotel that that's what you're getting. Also, if you request a private balcony, make sure the view isn't covered up by palm trees. If you're looking for a breakfast buffet, this place isn't for you.
