"We really enjoyed our stay at the Beachcomber By The Sea! Great view of the ocean, convenient to so many places nearby like Pier Park and restaurants galore! The room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend friends and family to go there especially if they are looking for an affordable clean place to stay. I wouldn't mind staying there again when I go back to Panama City Beach!"

"The pull out couch was the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. But the view was great, staff was friendly. Needed to keep a broom and dust pan for the sand accumulation in the room. I agree about the tv's. Mine has a blurry strip accross the top."

"Couch had stains on it. Broken glass on the floor ( cut my wifes foot) Urine stains behind toilet used razor sitting on ledge in shower. Pool had cracks on the top that would have been easy to fix. Made 2 complaints about cleanliness and no-one came up to clean nor did they offer to move me to a new room. Im very disapointed with my room. The beds were new.. thats about the best thing i can say about our room."

"The rooms and the televisions need to be updated. There should be internet connection (free) in every room. The swimming pool (only 1) should be much larger or have another pool. The location of the hotel is great. There was a wonderful view of the fireworks on July 4th from our balcony. The rooms are clean and most of the staff was freindly. The cost was too high considering the out-dated rooms, televisions, and lack of internet."

"Just returned from my vacation to Panama City Beach and have to say that the motel was very good. The staff was over the top. Everything I asked for ( extra towels, coffee, ect. ) was taken care immediately. None of 'I'll get to you when I finish this'. The only negative was the furnishings and televisions need to be updated, but everything was clean and in working order. I will stay there again and would recommend it to anyone."

"We have stayed here before, and it is always a pleasure. Too bad the weather didn't hold out for us, though. The only complaint I have is that there is no free wifi thus my value rating of 4 - you have to pay for access. These days, even McDonalds has free access, so a hotel not having it seems odd. I really wouldn't have cared except that the weather was bad and it would have been nice to have been able to use the internet while it poured rain outside. On the flip side, I needed to send a fax once I arrived, and this was done for free. We love staying here, and will do so in the future."

"Overall, a nice vacation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom could have been cleaned a little better than it was, especially the Tub. The breakfast left a lot to be desired also, you have your choice of Bagel or Muffin, no Donuts or dry cereal, could be a problem if you are travelling with small children. We would like to return to PCB, but, I think we will look for a different hotel."

"I came into town to just get away for the weekend...never knowing it was bike weekend. The room was adequate for a beach town. I was thankful to have found a room but they had availability. For the price I paid it was a fairly good deal. "

"This was the end of a week long vacation along the Florida panhandle. Our first impression at the desk was a little worrisome. Girl behind the desk was I guess at the end of a long day and not the friendliest. Room was very nice and clean as were the facilities, I.e., pool, beach, etc. Prices for one day beach lounge and umbrella was a little steep we thought considering we had stayed a couple of months ago at a competitor hotel a few doors down and only cost $20 a day. However overall our stay was enjoyable and would stay again with hopes of a friendlier staff at the checkin.

"My family and I went to Panama City in the month of September. I had booked Beachbreak by the Sea because it had great reviews. I called in in advance to have a non smoking room because my daughter has Ashma. When we got to the room it smelled like cigarette really bad. I had house keeping spray the room and it made it worse. I went downstairs to tell the staff about the non smoking room smelling like cigarette and they gave me another room to check out after I persisted. The other room smelled the same. I checked out a total of 5 rooms and wasted 4 hours of my vacation. There were two staff personal on site a Caucasian female and African American female. The White female did not care about my issue and was not doing her job but the other lady did. She was able to change my family to another hotel after a few hours of waiting and the issue was solved. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone with family. I always looked at bad reviews and thought that the people writing them were to harsh.This hotel was very dirty and the customer service was horrible. I would not stay here even if I got offered to stay here for free. "
