"When we got to our room my wife inmediately wanted to leave. The beds are uncomfortable, the T.V. is not a Plasma. It is an old T.V. There is no refrigerator or microwave or dvd player. Wi-Fy was 9.95 per 24 hours. My niece who was staying there too requested a refrigerator because she has an infant and they were charging her $15.00 extra per day. The hotel is under renovations, but we were in an area that was already renovated and still did not like the room. The bathroom does not have a fan so the bad smells stay in the room. I do have to say the sorroundings will be beautiful ones the renovations are finished. We had made reservations for 10 nights. We stayed the 10 nights but spend as much time as possible outside the resort. We wanted a relaxing vacation away from our stressfull lives but it turned out to be a very busy vacation coming and going all the time to compensate for the horrible room."

"I would definitely NOT stay here until room renovations are completely done. There are too many other hotels in the area that have to be better than this one. Wanted a wakeup call but neither phone in the room worked. The light next to the bed didn't even have a light bulb in it. Wi-fi was $9.95 for 24 hours. The hallway carpet next to us was a soaking mess. I had sandals on and my feet still got wetl At first it smelled like bleach but the next day it smelled like a stinky swanp. The 'lagoons' by our room were completely dry. The pool/hot tub did stay open 24 hours and Gatorville, the outdoor bar/restaurant, was nice."

"My family stayed here for the Christmas holiday. We wanted to be in Orlando, Florida and to enjoy Disney with our children. Our first room was horrible and smelled of mildew. We were moved to an upgraded room - less deplorable - but no better. The toilet handle wreaked with a piercing noise when flushed. It was annoying. The bathroom ceiling fan attached to the bathroom light was the same way. We took baths in the dark to avoid turning on the light to avoid the loud sound. The iron needed to be replaced, the guest phone was broken and we had several MIDNIGHT interruptions during our first two night's stay. We even had a security guard to stop by the room because he was told there was no record of our reservation. While all these things were immediately resolved, it was frustrating.

Not such a good start to an exciting holiday. This place was the pits!!!

"On arrival we were given a room that smelled of clorox and our door wouldn't close. We went back to lobby to complain and I dealt this time with the manager and told him how disappointed I was about the room (nothing like the website photos). He gave us new room and assured me that it would be much better and that hotel was under renovation. The 2nd room was just as shabby! My family was very displeased. When we came back from the park the next day we could not open our room using our card key. I had to go twice to the front desk to get key reformated and was finally told by housekeeper that Engineering or Security needed to come and open. The front desk person told us we needed to go wait for him in front of our room (no courtesy). We then complained to the manager around who personally called Security and had them walk us to our room and opened it. We had booked for 3 nights. We left after 2 and spoke to front desk about refund. I will not go back!"

"The hotel's bathroom water horse is liking. Room has no free wifi. The floor is broken and blanket is dirty! Very Lowe class hotel. Rate is high room quality is bad. Also, the building is too far away to the lobby very inconvenient !"

"I will never stay at this hotel again and not recommend it to any of my friends. The first room they put us in was dirty and old...tears in the curtain. They were nice enough to put us in a better room, that still needed updating. The floors were 'wood' so you could hear the guest above you walking the whole time. This part of Orlando wasn't our favorite either, not very relaxing.

There were old cigar butts by chairs at the pool we went to. Which was totally disgusting.

The morning of our flight home....no hot water for a shower.

The hotel also dosn't offer WiFi...I didn't realize this when I booked so that is my fault I guess. I thought everyone had WiFi by now...free or not."

"I do have to say that I booked this trip without reading any of the reviews sooo I was a bit concerned AFTER I read the bad reviews and had done the non refundable option. After arriving at the Wyndham I was pleasantly surprised.

They layout was simple to follow and reaching my room was easy even though it was located towards the back of the resort. My room was a bit outdated but overall perfect for my trip. The view was beautiful from my window. The room was clean and there was def. no strange 'odder' like so many other people have complained about. There was one small tiny stain on one of the curtains but even that wasnt noticeable until i was very close and actually LOOKING for negative things.

I would def plan to stay here again.

"Amazing hotel. Very modern and beautiful. Great restaurants and pools. Rooms are also modern and comfortable. Trams come to the parks every two hours however the actual hotel was great. The service is also great. The workers never say yes when you ask them for anything."

"Overall the hotel and trip were good, however my disappointment came at check-in when we were told about an additional $6. per day fee since we hadn't booked the required time period. The next shocker was waking up to insects and' a roach type of bug in bathroom and closet. I am a Rewards card member so I expected more from both.

Despite these few issues we made the trip a great one. The hotel is close to most stuff, so I would recommend if your looking to get to Orlando on a budget but if your use to a higher standard then make a different choice. Just keep your clothes off the floor and watch where you step if barefoot"

"Upon our arrival to Wyndham on Saturday, May 12th, the employees were not the best; however, after a couple of minutes of talking we were like old friends. Also, we were able to check-in at 1pm which was very helpful. It's true that you have to pay for internet service; however, it's free in the hotel lobby and it's free all day if you purchase a drink at the pool bar. My boyfriend was 'roped' into a Time-Share appointment. It was suppose to be a 120 minute (I state this in minutes because that's what they do instead of giving you a hour timeframe) tour; however, he was there for 3 hours prior to waiting in a huge non-moving line for his free packages. He was very irate with the lack of assistance after waiting in a non-moving line. So a 120 minute tour turned into over a 210 minute tour; and he left without his promised free packages. They did make it up to him the next day; however, they were rude and unhelpful during the inital tour. The room wasn't pristine; and the bed wasn't the best....but if you are on vacation, how much time do you spend in the your hotel room? The pool area was very nice; however, during our stay they had an International Aquatic Fitness Tour there and they took up the majority on the pools. I found this to be in bad taste, especially since you pay to use all the pools and relax. Also, you heard the drum and bass earlier than 10am in the mornings. Also, if you think you are going to sleep in - forget about that idea. The staff is there prior to 7am and they are sweeping, collecting laundry or wheeling the baskets and carriages by the rooms frequently. Also, they don't speak quietly either. I was up prior to 7am a lot. Overall, the location was very convienent; however, they do have some bugs at the hotel. They are pushing their newer hotel, so I guess this hotel falls by the wayside."

"Honestly, I read many bad reviews and even called the Resort with my concerns prior to taking the trip. I was there with my wife for a trade show fro three nights. We got there and was assigned a room. When we went to the room it was a double bed - not a king as we requested. I went back to the front desk and told them. They were very polite and apologetic and re-assigned a room and upgraded it at no extra charge. We did experience that the room may of been closed for a while and needed to be aired out. It was clean and acceptable. WE did enjoy walking the ground and the pools/hot tub and sauna were all in working order. The gift shop was nice and the help at the coffee shop very friendly. Anyone working - maid staff grounds keepers greeted us with 'good morning' DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. We would stay here again as well as refer to friends and family. This is an affordable place to stay located close to shops, food, I-4"

"I stayed at the this location because we were going to universal and Islands of adventure. The hotel was close to the parks which was great, and we took there shuttle to the park which was also great. There's always cabs in front of the resort which great if you want to party at City Walk. Overall I had a good experience the staff was nice and the hot tub and pool area is open 24/7. If your a 20 something the guest seemed to be older, not a spring break resort but it's 10-15min from downtown Orlando where the clubs scene is."

"THIS ENTIRE VACATION WAS HORRIBLE BECAUSE OF THE WYNDHAM. IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL ON THE INTERNET, WHICH THEY DON'T HAVE THERE. THE ROOMS WERE FILTHY, SMELLY, BEDS NOT CHANGED. THE COMFORTER HAD A HUGE BLACK STAIN ON IT FOR 4 DAYS. DUST ALL OVER THE PLACE. OLD TV SETS. I HAD TO GET UP AND CHANGE THE CHANNEL, THE REMOTES DIDN'T WORK PROPERLY. THE WORST THING WAS A CONSTAIN SMELL OF SEWERAGE. IN THE SHOWER, IN THE VENTS ECT. THE AIR CONDITIONER MADE SUCH A LOUD NOISE IT WOKE ME UP EVERYNIGHT.DIRTY COUCH, FILTHY ARMS. THE DOOR HIT THE TOILET SEAT. YOU COULDN'T OPEN THE BATHROOM DOOR ALL THE WAY.CURTAINS FILTHY. FRONT DESK WAS NOT FRIENDLY. I ORDERED ROOM SERVICE. THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. I WAS TOLD TO PUT MY TRAY ON THE FLOOR OUTSIDE OF MY ROOM. SINCE I DIDN'T EAT THAT DISGUSTING FOOD, ALL NIGHT I HEARD A LOUD NOISE WHICH WAS A HUGH POSSUM THAT WAS OUTSIDE MY DOOR EATING THE FOOD I DIDN'T. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK TO HELP BECAUSE I NEEDED TO GET OUT OF THE ROOM TO GO TO THE AIRPORT AND NO ONE CAME. WHEN I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK, NO ONE NEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. ALSO I ASKED FOR A 3 O'CLOCK WAKE UP CALL ON THE NIGHT I WS LEAVING AND ALL 4 NIGHT I GOT A WAKE UP CALL. I WAS ALSO TOLD BY AN EMPLOYEE THAT IT IS NOT GOING TO BE THE WYNDHAM IN A MONTH BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO RENOVATE. DISGUSTING PLACE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SPEND LESS DAYS AT A BETTER HOTEL........ ALSO I NEVER GOT A ' WELCOME PACKET' BUT WAS PUSHED OVER TO SPEAK TO A CLERK WHOM BAGGERED ME INTO SEEING A NEW HOTEL ROOM THAT WOULD TAKE 2 HOURS OF MY TIME. I REPEATEDLY SAID I WASN'Y INTERERESTED, AFTER TRAVELING 7 HOURS TO GET TO ORLANDO I DIDN'T NEED THIS OVERBEARING SALESPERSON THAT WAS LOOKING TO SELL A CONDO FOR COMMISSION. I COULDN'T STAND HER. SHE WOULD ' APPEAR' IN STORES WHILE I WAS SHOPPING WITH MY SON, LIKE A STALKER AND AGAIN WANTED ME TO SEE A SO CALLED ' HOTEL ROOM'...I JUST WANTED TO TAK MY SON TO UNIVERSAL. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. NOW HE'S SCARED TO DEATH AFTER THE POSSUM EXPERIENCE.......NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!"

"This hotel is old and raggedy. Not as nice as the pictures make it seem. The toilet did not work, attempts to fix it were slow and ineffective (had to keep calling for maintanence to return). The phone did not work and was never repaired. Fuzzy TV. The best aspect of this hotel is the location. Will not return to this hotel!!!"

"Wyndam Orlando Resort is definitely the 'laid back' type of resort. Rooms are simple, decor is mediocre. The best things about the resort are the gardens, lagoons, walking trails, pools, restaurants. It is incredibly relaxing, family friendly and peaceful. You truly feel as though you are in a resort outside of the city. The resort is huge.



Our only issue we had was our initial room had several cockroaches in it which was not pleasant, once we alerted staff members they immediately upgraded us into a large clean suite at no cost.



Overall the experience was nice, though if I were to return I would be weary of staying in the standard rooms again. "

"Just back from a 2week holiday and will definately stay here again and would recommend to others. Hotel is situated on International drive in a perfest location, without feeling too busy. The 2 pools and hot tub were amazing and the whole resort was very clean and tidy with loads of amenities. The restuarant at the pool bar served excellent food and all staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spaceus and Housekeeping did a great job. We joined Wyndham requests which is well worth doing!!!!!"
