"Honestly, I read many bad reviews and even called the Resort with my concerns prior to taking the trip. I was there with my wife for a trade show fro three nights. We got there and was assigned a room. When we went to the room it was a double bed - not a king as we requested. I went back to the front desk and told them. They were very polite and apologetic and re-assigned a room and upgraded it at no extra charge. We did experience that the room may of been closed for a while and needed to be aired out. It was clean and acceptable. WE did enjoy walking the ground and the pools/hot tub and sauna were all in working order. The gift shop was nice and the help at the coffee shop very friendly. Anyone working - maid staff grounds keepers greeted us with 'good morning' DO NOT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. We would stay here again as well as refer to friends and family. This is an affordable place to stay located close to shops, food, I-4"

"I stayed at the this location because we were going to universal and Islands of adventure. The hotel was close to the parks which was great, and we took there shuttle to the park which was also great. There's always cabs in front of the resort which great if you want to party at City Walk. Overall I had a good experience the staff was nice and the hot tub and pool area is open 24/7. If your a 20 something the guest seemed to be older, not a spring break resort but it's 10-15min from downtown Orlando where the clubs scene is."

"THIS ENTIRE VACATION WAS HORRIBLE BECAUSE OF THE WYNDHAM. IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL ON THE INTERNET, WHICH THEY DON'T HAVE THERE. THE ROOMS WERE FILTHY, SMELLY, BEDS NOT CHANGED. THE COMFORTER HAD A HUGE BLACK STAIN ON IT FOR 4 DAYS. DUST ALL OVER THE PLACE. OLD TV SETS. I HAD TO GET UP AND CHANGE THE CHANNEL, THE REMOTES DIDN'T WORK PROPERLY. THE WORST THING WAS A CONSTAIN SMELL OF SEWERAGE. IN THE SHOWER, IN THE VENTS ECT. THE AIR CONDITIONER MADE SUCH A LOUD NOISE IT WOKE ME UP EVERYNIGHT.DIRTY COUCH, FILTHY ARMS. THE DOOR HIT THE TOILET SEAT. YOU COULDN'T OPEN THE BATHROOM DOOR ALL THE WAY.CURTAINS FILTHY. FRONT DESK WAS NOT FRIENDLY. I ORDERED ROOM SERVICE. THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. I WAS TOLD TO PUT MY TRAY ON THE FLOOR OUTSIDE OF MY ROOM. SINCE I DIDN'T EAT THAT DISGUSTING FOOD, ALL NIGHT I HEARD A LOUD NOISE WHICH WAS A HUGH POSSUM THAT WAS OUTSIDE MY DOOR EATING THE FOOD I DIDN'T. I CALLED THE FRONT DESK TO HELP BECAUSE I NEEDED TO GET OUT OF THE ROOM TO GO TO THE AIRPORT AND NO ONE CAME. WHEN I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK, NO ONE NEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. ALSO I ASKED FOR A 3 O'CLOCK WAKE UP CALL ON THE NIGHT I WS LEAVING AND ALL 4 NIGHT I GOT A WAKE UP CALL. I WAS ALSO TOLD BY AN EMPLOYEE THAT IT IS NOT GOING TO BE THE WYNDHAM IN A MONTH BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT TO RENOVATE. DISGUSTING PLACE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SPEND LESS DAYS AT A BETTER HOTEL........ ALSO I NEVER GOT A ' WELCOME PACKET' BUT WAS PUSHED OVER TO SPEAK TO A CLERK WHOM BAGGERED ME INTO SEEING A NEW HOTEL ROOM THAT WOULD TAKE 2 HOURS OF MY TIME. I REPEATEDLY SAID I WASN'Y INTERERESTED, AFTER TRAVELING 7 HOURS TO GET TO ORLANDO I DIDN'T NEED THIS OVERBEARING SALESPERSON THAT WAS LOOKING TO SELL A CONDO FOR COMMISSION. I COULDN'T STAND HER. SHE WOULD ' APPEAR' IN STORES WHILE I WAS SHOPPING WITH MY SON, LIKE A STALKER AND AGAIN WANTED ME TO SEE A SO CALLED ' HOTEL ROOM'...I JUST WANTED TO TAK MY SON TO UNIVERSAL. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. NOW HE'S SCARED TO DEATH AFTER THE POSSUM EXPERIENCE.......NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!"

"This hotel is old and raggedy. Not as nice as the pictures make it seem. The toilet did not work, attempts to fix it were slow and ineffective (had to keep calling for maintanence to return). The phone did not work and was never repaired. Fuzzy TV. The best aspect of this hotel is the location. Will not return to this hotel!!!"
