"The hotel was truly beautiful and the staff was always extremely kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the restaurants available at the hotel were extremely expensive. The first morning, for 4 people to have a breakfast buffet, cost $80. We had to send people out to pick up breakfast elsewhere and bring it back in order to save money. The other problem we had was with the hotel's transportation to Disney. I am disabled and had to rent a scooter to take to the parks. We were told that if we needed the special bus that has a lift to transport the scooter, we could give them two hours notice and they would be there. Of the six times that we needed that bus to show up, they only showed up ONE TIME. Every other time, a regular bus would show up and some of the guys in our group would have to lift and carry the scooter onto and off of the bus. It was beyond irritating and I would have to say that the experience with the transportation company was the most stressful part of our vacation. There was even a time when a bus with a lift showed up and even though he would be driving right by our hotel, he REFUSED to take us. He yelled at us and another lady who was asking why he wouldn't take us. It was unbelievable and I called the company immediately to tell them what happened. They were shocked and kept apologizing and said they would pull him aside first thing in the morning. The pools at the hotel were very beautiful and the kids had a great time exploring and discovering each new pool. The staff even did a splash contest on the last day we were there and it got everyone at the pool involved. It was a lot of fun and I loved how the staff, once again, went out of their way to make it a fun vacation for the guests. The biggest problem we had was on the next to last day of our vacation, we got back to the hotel after a long day at Universal Studios. I turned the corner to get something out of our suitcase and there was a dirty toilet brush lying on top of our clothes. I called down to the front desk and a manager came up within five minutes. She was appalled and kept apologizing. She took the toilet brush and said she was going down to housekeeping and she would be right back. Within ten minutes, she returned with a bag and took ALL of our clothes out of our suitcase to take them to housekeeping to wash, even though they don't do laundry on site (they usually send out laundry). They washed and sent back our pajamas within the hour so that we had them to sleep in. The rest of the laundry was returned to us by 8:00 in the morning. So while the hotel was beautiful and the staff was very kind and helpful, there were too many problems that occurred for us to enjoy our vacation the way we wanted to."

"We thought this was a very beautiful hotel/resort. All the staff were kind, considerate and helpful.
The pools and outdoor restaurants were wonderful and fun. The small lake in the middle of the complex was a very beautiful and soothing feature. The sky and stars above it were awsome at night. It was a fun family resort.
Our granddaughter had loads of fun playing in the lazy river with us and all the other children she met along the way. We had a view of the pool below us and could see the evening fireworks off in the distance.
The purpose of our trip was to take our 5 yr old granddaughter to Disney World. The hotel provided daily shuttles to the Disney Parks. These worked out quite well, however, it would have been nice if there was one more return shuttle that returned early afternoon to allow for an afternoon nap. The bus drivers were also very helpful.
We were aware of the resort fee ahead of time but we were informed at check-in that there is also a $50 a day security deposit (which was $350 for the 7 days we were there).
Staff were very attentive to any problems and responded quickly (refrigerator in the room was not cooling properly but they had someone fix it within 15 min at 11pm at night).

"After reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried that things may not go as planned, and I wouldn't be happy with my hotel choice. I decided to chance it, knowing that most people who have positive experiences don't post reviews.
I must say I was very happy with my decision. The room looked exactly like it does in the picture (I choose the Queen/Queen with a balcony). Bedding was comfy, towels white and fluffy, and inroom amenities nice. The hotel was very clean, inside and out. I enjoyed the fitness center, getting my morning Starbucks, and all encounters with staff members were pleasant. Would definately recommend and return!"

The cons: the shuttle buses cannot be counted on to get you from and to the parks; we had to call to get room service two out of three days. The resort charges $16 plus tax for 'resort charges'. All in all, a pretty good value all things considered. We would probably return."

"The hotel is beautiful and the staff is super friendly...but with the cost of the daily resort fee and daily parking fee, which are individually taxed daily! It is not worth the stay. You can stay at a three star hotel for the cost of these fees alone. Not to mention the cost of meals on the premises. For that I rather stay directly on the Disney grounds. Sure the deal was good but after all is said and done you are paying luxury prices. Fool me once."

"When you first enter the hotel and see the lobby and grounds, you feel as if this could be the best vacation you have ever had. However, the poor quality of the service, the inflated costs of everything in the hotel (restaurant, 'Barista' coffee shop in lobby ($27 for cup of coffee, 2 milks and three small pastries), vending machine ($2.50 for a soda) and gift shop ($20 for bottle of sunscreen) and the high added expense of traveling to any Orlando attractions aside from Disney (free shuttles for that) due to costs of taxi (at least $45 each way), shuttle ($15/person to Universal Studio) , or daily parking fee of a car (I think $17, but did not rent car) make this an exceptionally poor value for your hard earned dollars.
For the cost of the stay, I felt that room service should at least clean the room which was not done after our first night. (I had to ask the concierge for that service, which seemed to annoy her). A nice touch would have been restocking the soap/shampoo since we were there for four days (every other hotel in this range I have stayed in has done this).
Other annoyances: Waitress forgot order at restaurant, check-out charges were about $20 higher at the desk when leaving compared to that on the sheet slid under my door just hours before(I was told that they had 'updated it' , though there were no new charges), housekeeping attempted to enter my room > 1 hour before checkout time while I was getting dressed/packed to leave. Restaurant food was mediocre, extremely expensive. We ended up ordering a pizza one night. The 'gift package' I was told to pick up when I arrived was really a pitch to give a discount to a future stay if I listened to a presentation on their time shares.
The last time I visited Orlando, I stayed at a hotel within walking distance to the iRide Trolley. This gave us the flexibility to try a number of restaurants, go to the movies, etc., without incurring huge expenses for traveling around town. I would recommend that anyone traveling to Orlando consider this. Lesson learned.
All in all, this hotel is like a shiny new car with nothing under the hood. Don't waste your money.

Tesoro restaurant could be a little more lavish for this hotel.
Service friendly,rooms clean.
I arrived late , there was no one at the desk , the bell hop went and got the receptionist, had to wait obout 10 minutes, it was 5am.
I had no complaints , because I had arrived so late that he did not charge me for the first day.so that was very considerate and the first days resort fee.
Only con was a child throwing a ball in the lobby up against a collum, very annoying in such a lovely hotel.
The Disney transportation was excellent."

"The hotel was very clean and the bed was FIRM, which was excellent. Frig was very small and difficult to store many drinks, food for breakfast. No microwave was disappointing, really limited what we could eat in the room. Did not eat in the restuarants, too expensive for us. The trash cans were TINY, more than once I took our trash downstairs to get it out of our room. The housekeeping lady on the 7th floor was extremely nice, I wish I had her name to thank her here. The parking fee was $15 a day and the resort fee was on top of that. Kids loved the pool. They did not have sheets in the room for the sofa bed and when we finally got there at 0100 we were too tired to get them that night. Overall a nice place close to the Disney parks, but expensive with all the extra charges."

"This is an absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff is professional and friendly. We had the balcony-type room and would recommend paying the few extra dollars to get a balcony. We faced the pool and could see the fireworks off in the distance while sitting comfortably on the balcony.
The breakfast buffet is well done with a nice selection of fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, and sweet rolls etc.. We ordered the brisket one night for dinner and said the we would like to share 1 meal and they brought it to us divided and more than enough for one person to eat. It was a great meal.
We were surprised at the resort tax per night and it added up over our stay, so be prepared for that addition.
The shuttles to Disney let off and picked up in the middle of a parking lot and once we found it, it worked out, but there is a little distance to walk to the designated spot.
I would recommend the Wyndham to everyone. It's a first class hotel."

"The Wyndham is a beautiful resort. We had a room with a balcony and were able to see the fireworks from Disney each night. The resort has five pools which the kids and adults liked very much. "Family of 4 spent 7days at hotel. Called before arrival to be put on the lower floor level. My request was granted. We were met by night desk person who is very nice and gave us all the info we needed to enjoy our stay. Room was very spacious and clean. Kids enjoyed the large Samsung HDTV. OOh yea i brought my PS3 netflix/gaming. Internet was very fast. Streamed Netflix very well (720p). Water pressure in shower was very good and water was hot. Did not run out of hot water. We loved the pools on property easy to get to and the water was WARM. Food at the pool area was reasonable. OOH yea if u pay with ur debit card they put extra amount on there. Said Pending transaction on-line but corrected the right amount 2days later (also happend at checkout pending checkout amount). Mini golf on site and is free. 18holes (kids loved it). Parking on site is safe and painless. I saw a security officer on site. tweny minutes from Universal studios. Overall i had an experience of 10 out of 10. oohh yea in the bar area in lower lobby had a guy down there playing the piano and singing all the good classics. U wont be disappointed. The business center is free and gorgeous (print out directions or boarding passes."

"We stayed at the Wyndham for this trip based on the availability and reviews. Would I go back again, the simple answer is 'No', it would not be my first choice, but it was a very nice hotel. I think where it lacked, was the customer service. Only the employees who were doing the cleaning, reached out and greeted us with smiles. Everyone else seemed to just be working. No one was rude, but no one went out of their way. It has some beautiful views and is very nicely designed. When we walked in, I felt like I was walking into a grand hotel with the back wall which was virtually a window to the beautifully landscaped areas and pool.
The maid service lacked and neglected to give us any towels one day. While we considered leaving no tip, we did, but I'm sure it was a noticeably low tip because when we called, no one once apologized. The towels were not correctly provided for three of our nights there. We ordered some balloons as a surprise for our son and they all lost their helium after 12 hrs. The quality was very cheap, but the thrill of getting balloons did outweigh the quality issue.
We also spent some time in the game room and 3 of the machines were not working and took our money.
The food was good, room service was quick and the standard fare of burgers were tasty. The wings at the Back Bay grill were not good at all, they had no real flavor along with the Strawberry Mojito. It could have been because we entered just before closing, so I'll cut them some slack. The waitress was very nice and let us stay to finish our food. Tesoro is another restaurant which provided a good buffet breakfast, but no turkey bacon or sausages which would have been a plus. The omelets were made on demand and were satisfying. The service was good all days but one, where we had to seek out our own milk for the coffee and the waiter at least three times. He also never collected our used plates. Again, we reflected this in the tip while not being insulting because they all do seem to work hard.
The beds were decent, but the TV always seemed to be accessing channels, while the flat screen was decent. We also spent several hours in the pool area and rented a cabana for 6 hrs at $25. The pool worker was helpful and supervised some pool games for the kids. This, we felt, was a great deal because there was no late checkout. I would have paid for late checkout but the cabana ended up being much better and our son spent several hrs in the water. The service by the bartender was also top notch. He checked on us without ever being pushy and was very helpful. We definitely reflected this in his tip. The Pina Colada was excellent from Back Bay.
We didn't bother with the shuttle because of the lengthy wait between departures and pickups. We just rented from Enterprise and that was fine. We paid the $15 a night to self park. When I first went to park, I had to get my ticket validated and the concierge just said he couldn't do anything and didn't direct me to where I could get it validated, which I figured next would be the front desk. On the other hand, front desk was very nice and the young lady who was there when we left even brought out our heavy bags herself. I didn't want to insult her with a tip because she was a concierge. Hope that was the right move. If not, sorry. It was appreciated.
We also paid a visit to Starbuck. the cashier was nice enough.
Finally, I went to the gym and it was acceptable with a sufficient number of machines that were clean.
Overall, it was a good stay, nice design and pretty. It will benefit from better customer service, better maid service and flexibility. (How about allowing guests to pay by the hr to check out later that 11 am? or to rent the cabana by the hr?). I would not rule it out, but would go back to Disney next time. It is on the Disney property, but does not have anything close to the service of Disney."

"Very dazzling beautiful at lobby area and environs. We did not appreciate the paid car park and the resort fee which was taxed on top of that. Each is approxmiately $17.00 per day so if you stay ten nights it can add up. There are three star hotels that are much more generous. The rooms could be equipped with a microwave especially when you have little ones. It means you are thinking of your clients' needs. The bathroom could be a little more luxurious and less frugal with their supplies especially bathroom tissue. Not a four star inside the rooms. But certainly very clean and dust free thank heavens. A little more pampering or kinder in its offerings and they can reach to a golden mark. The nickel and diming was too much."

"Our experience with the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort was overall ok. The thing is if you are disabled do not stay with this property. Their 'handicapped' accessible shuttles to the park are not. We took the shuttle 6 times before giving up and just paying taxi's to go back and forth.
Our first shuttle they went to put down the handicap lift and it got stuck. They left everyone waiting 30 minutes while a replacement came. When the replacement got their instead of reloading the bus and going the guy got out and tried to help the other shuttle fix it's ramp for 20 minutes. I ended up with a sun burn because of it. The gentleman when approached to implore him to please take us gave me a dirty look and went back to jumping up and down on the other frozen lift.
Day two, the lift wouldn't work as well, it got stuck.... finally my husband helped me to stand and brace at a bench while he took it up and then took me up.
The same kept happening until the final straw one evening on the way back from the park the lift wouldn't even go down with just the chair on it. 30 minutes later the people riding on the bus with us were getting ready to man handle the 200lb electric power chair down when the lift finally re-engaged.
Wyndham didn't seem to care about the issue when we brought it to them Even though they charge you $16 resort fee that includes the shuttle service they did not care that it wasn't up to date and in working order.
As a note we started using Disney's buses for inter-park visits they had no issue whatsoever with getting me and my chair onboard.
Another note we were a bit worried about security of the hotel since we continuously had restaurants slipping menus under the door. Yet when we ordered delivered food the resort adamantly was against letting them deliver to anything but the lobby for security. It makes you wonder."

"This was a very nice motel to stay at. We enjoyed the view out our window and swimming. We really liked the little T.V. in the bunk alcove for the kids. I enjoyed the convenience of the parks within the area.
The complaint of this was the extra cost $30 a day for parking and fees that weren't' included in the price. Not a nice surprise to see at the departure time when you think everything is taken care of. We did see the parking fee was extra but not
the other 15 dollars and all the extra taxes.
Housekeeping was not efficient for the amount of 6 guests. We had to call for extra towels 3 times. Coffee was not there for 3 adults and we had to ask for cups. One night came in late to unmade bunks with a sheet folded on one of them.??? Didn't take out dirty glass glasses and didn't replenish soaps on daily basis. For the cost of this motel these things should be a priority of service.

If I was to stay here again I would definitely have a rental car, the place is located inside disney world but there is nothing around it which is hard. We where at the parks most days and when we returned the restaurants were closed which meant that only option for us was the limited room service menu. We booked this place due to the free shuttles and free wifi BUT it was frustrating to find there was a daily resort fee which was for these costs! overall was a nice place to stay!"

"We found the hotel to be beautiful and more than we ever expected. The best part was the food. The Tesoro Cove family restaurant was fabulous - the brunch was amazing (fruit bar, eggs/bacon/potatos/french toast, chef making omlets, waffles - cereal station, muffin/danish/donut station - all drinks included - fresh squeezed orange juice was wonderful & the staff was warm and extremely friendly. They were so generous they offered every morning to send us off with a to-go cup of star-bucks coffee. We loved that the kids eat free breakfast buffet with an adult meal - this really helped our budget. We have 4 children (13, 11, 9, 7) and found the children's meals for lunch/dinner for $7 were adult portions (cheeseburgers were huge). Our children made new friends at the pools (because of the 6 towers of timeshare that sit behind the hotel, nice family atmoshere but also a nice corporate/upscale atmosphere at the main hotel pool -Kids enjoyed the gameroom and just loved this hotel. They couldn't wait to get back to it after the parks. We found the bus schedule very easy to adhere to even though it doesn't run every 25 minutes like the disney shuttles - there are plenty of options from any location/park for shuttle services. We enjoyed the back bay bar and also kids loved the 6 pools to choose from but especially enjoyed the pirate ship pool w/ giant slide & tiki bar was a very nice layed back setting expecially during the weekdays when the main hotel was running corporate events. We found the front desk staff to be less than friendly (they just weren't what you would expect in a disney environment). We also were beyound frustrated with housekeeping. 2 days in a row they didn't make 2 of the 4 beds in our room (2 bunk beds). They didn't consistently stock towels, soaps/sundries, or coffee station. They entered our room twice before 9am while were were there (once my husband was in a towel and the second time he was in his underware - very uncomfortable experience). They should knock and wait for us to answer the door. We had to ask everyday for enough towels for 6 people and it was evident that housekeeping is not well managed. Other than this - the hotel was awesome!! It would be the perfect spot to come to for some R&R, even if you are not interested in the parks. We saved so much by eating our meals back at the hotel because the food was very high quality (far better than the quality of the food in the disney parks). We would highly reccomend this hotel!!"

"We absolutely loved this hotel w/ 1 very big exception - housekeeping and staff. We have 4 children ages 13, 11, 9 and 7. We stayed in a room w/ 2 queen beds and had the alcove w/ 2 bunks for our older boys - the alcove had a separate TV -very convenient for our family. The queen beds were very comfortable and having 2 separte TV's was great! The hotel was beautiful - between 4-6 pools, outdoor environment was awesome with great pool side bars, hot tubs and cabanas. The hotel pool has a very nice upscale environment while next to it there is a giant pirate ship pool w/ big water slide, hut cabanas and a more rustic tiki bar environment. In the beginning of our stay the hotel pool hosted corporate events so it was nice to have the pirate pool for the kids. The food is suburb!! We enjoyed a breakfast buffet every morning - with the purchase of an adult meal a child eats for free so we paid for 3 adult meals and got 3 free - a deal in disney. This buffet was amazing - a chef making omlets, full waffle bar, cereal station, bacon/scrambled eggs/potato/sausages/pancakes or french toast and the best part all beverages included (fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, soda, juices. They had a beautiful fruit station and also danish/muffins/ donuts. This meal took us throughout the day until dinner. We found ourselves leaving the disney parks to eat back at the hotel as the children's hamburgers for $7 were an adult portion and very high quality. The staff in the Tesoro Cove Restaurant were awesome - very generous, kind and friendly. A wonderful family environment with kids. All-in-all, the food was superior to anything you get in $$ disney restaurants. The hotel was very clean and the kids loved the gameroom, made some good friends from the 6 time-share towers that surround the hotel. The only complaint was the front desk staff & Housekeeping - the front desk staff was not very accomadating, not friendly, warm or inviting. Housekeeping is a total disaster. We got in 1 night at 11pm to find the 2 bunk beds were not made at all (we have never experienced coming into a hotel room to find 1/2 of the beds made - this happened again the next day as the sheets were left folded ontop of the beds (after we graciously explained what had happened to the front desk). I would work each morning to leave the room completely picked up and organized to make it easier for them to come in and clean. The soaps/shampoos etc. were not re-stocked daily. The coffee station was not restocked consistently. They didn't leave enough towels (literally left 1 towel one day)so everyday I would ask housekeeping to please leave enough towels for 6 people. Frustrating to not have what you needed as you needed it. I would say housekeeping is very poorly managed. On our last day (of 7 nights) housekeeping opened our door at 9am and entered the room while we were there to ask when we were checking out - I was in my pajamas and my husband was standing there in his underware - they had walked in two days prior because they were mistaken that we were checking out that day and my husband was in a towel having just showered. We were appauled that they don't knock and wait until we answer the door. I had brought plastic bags from home for laundry bags (and they looked like the clear plastic bags the hotel uses)and they were missing, so I asked housekeeping to please look for the bags that were taken from our room - they found them and returned them to us. If the hotel management could straighten out the staff situations it would be perfect!!"

"At the time I booked the room I didn't know about the over $30 a night extra cost, for parking and amenities. We didn't use the amenities because we were gone to theme parks all day and it was too cold to use the pool when we returned. I had asked for extra towels because we had 6 people in our room and they brought them but didn't replace them the next day. They said there was a free gift but there wasn't. It was just a ploy for their timeshare. The restaurant was very expensive. The kids didn't like the pizza. The room was nice, clean and the kids liked the bunk bed. The mattress was hard for my taste and the pillows were too soft. It was nice to have a shuttle for the Disney theme parks. The drivers were very friendly and helpful."

"The Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort is a vacation complex but it has a HOTEL called the Wyndham Grand Orlando HOTEL....do not be confused...the cabbie will be though so you have to say Wyndham Grand Orlando Hotel and DO NOT tell the cabbie that it is in Bonnet Creek as he will take you to the vacation resort.
However, once you get to the hotel, everything is wonderful. The check in was smooth. The room was nice, spacious and well appointed and definitely clean. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast buffet is included for some and not for others, but is worth the price for a full range and delicouls fresh fruit too. The pool staff are great, the pool is nice but might be a bit crowded in the summer time. The concierge is helpful but be warned that when you ask for a cab, it is the limo service that comes as that is who the hotel has a contract with. If you want a regular (cheaper) cab, call one yourself. Also, if you take the limo to any of the Disney parks, the limo will pass on the $15 entry fee for the vehicle to you...if you call a yellow cab yourself, the fare is cheaper and the cab company absorbs the entry fee for the cab and does NOT pass it on to you!
The spa at the resort is lovely...the service is really good.
Deep Blu restaurant is pricey but well worth it for an adult dinner that is special. The Tescoro Restaurant (breakfast place is here too) is really excellent for the service and the food so don't be put off by the lack of decor...it looks like nothing at night..but the menu, food and service and price are well worth it.
All in all, a great place to stay on the Disneyworld property but not at Disney cost."

"Our stay did not start off well. Our room was not available at the time of check in (4 p.m., which seems later than most hotels). The staff did not seem to care at all that this would be an issue to for us because of dinner reservations we had at 5:45. Throughout our stay, we encountered this same apathy.
I agree with an earlier review that the bath tub has been neglected by housekeeping. The worse part of our stay is the shuttle service. It's not convenient to the parks' hours.
The best part of our stay was the actual room. We had a king size bed with bunk beds for our two sons. The room was great and I did not feel guilty watching TV while the kids slept in the bunk bed alcove.
Overall, I would not recommend the hotel because the access to the parks is very limited and the staff's attitude.

"We were very impressed with the beauty of this hotel/resort. Along with the beautiful hotel pool, we were permitted to use the various pools that are part of the attached Bonnet Creek time share buildings. You could walk around the circular complex on a boardwalk and enjoy the various pools which included several types of water slides (one was attached to a pirate ship) and several lazy river type pools. Our grandchildren, 4 and 6, enjoyed the pools so much that we gave up on our plans to visit Sea World and just spent that day at the Bonnet Creek pools.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
The food at the pool bar was very good and the breakfast buffet was fun for the children.
The hotel has its own bus for free transportation to Disney Parks and we had a great time with one of the bus drivers who was extremely nice.
One suggestion would be better signs as to which entrance gate is for the hotel and not the time share.
We all decided we will return to this hotel."

"Everything about the Wyndham was just fine with only a couple of exceptions. The charge's to park your car whether self park or Valet are excessive. 19.00 tax and always tip, are just excessive. The Valet staff however were all excellent, just expensive. The major disappointment in this Hotel, was the Concierge, they simply were without an opinion, and did not have any local knowledge of restaurants or in my case, no knowledge of Golf Courses. The most they could offer was to print off directions if you needed them. Then they could not do that either. But other than that, excellent Hotel."

"The room was comfy and big enought but house keeping was not good. you have to request several times to come and clean the room. they also dont put enought bath shampoo and gel in your room. They have also some secret charge . when I book the hotel online transportation to Disney parks was included but i had to pay for that. Restaurants are also expensive. I went to Orlando by flight and I did not have my car. It was not good. I recommend you to go there by your car or at least rent a car. It helps you to go out for dining."

"This was our 1st time staying in Orlando and wanted to find a family friendly hotel that also offered the amenities to escape from our children for an hour or two. The room was incredible! We were able to have a king size bed for ourselves and bunk beds for our two boys. Not having to worry about the boys fighting over a bed or pull out couch was a God send! The overall feel of the hotel was great! The staff were incredibley professional and friendly at all times. Having shuttle service to & from all the Disney parks was a lifesaver! We actually drove one day and that was a nightmare - we learned quickly the shuttle was the way to go! "The resort was very clean and the landscape was well kept and groomed. The only problem is there's no balcony unless you spend some heavy dollars, no free coffee and bagels in the morning unless you go spend more money. The room coffee isn't worth making. There are extra charges I was not aware of. A charge of 13.85 per day to park in the parking deck. This all adds up folks. Then low and behold there was a 16.00 dollar per day fee for use of the resorts ammenities such as the pools. I stayed for five days and spent 159.00 extra on there fees I didn't know was there. So further more note this as part of your experience everyone pays this. To top ity off they will automatically charge you 50.00 dollars per day of you stay for insadental fee. I stayed 5 days so as soon as I checked in 250.00 dollars was charged. ' YOU FOLKS ARE GOING TO SPEND MORE THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE'.... The restaurants are good but not for the price you pay. I paid 181.00 to eat at the Deep Blu Seafood restaurant there for four people I liked to had a stroke..... Check other resorts before you reserve a spot at this one....."

"Great place - room was great and nice size. The only downfall - one of the (The Blue) restaurants is a bit pricy and the food not worth the price. You can go to Downtown Disney and pay a bit less for better quality food at Fulton's Crab House.
However the Tesoro was more reasonably price and their breakfast buffet was great. Room Service was also great.
My granddaughter enjoyed it very much. Definite coming back next year for a bit longer.

"This is a very good hotel. The beds are wonderful with thick mattresses and plenty of soft cover, sheets and pillows. The staff was nice. None really went out of their way for us, but were nice. The location is great, right in the middle of Disney, however the shuttle to disney parks is very confusing. There is also a resort and parking fee of 16.00 and 13.00 for each day. However, we got a great rate so it was fine."

"Although food was good...wished there would have been more variety and choices other then fine dinning in the evening. Choices being pool grill with almost same menu for room service which we had to run to pool grill after ordering room service for condiments they just didn't provide? ..When in a resort enviorment the resturant(s) should be open round clock on high seasons early for breakfast-later casual dinners.Maybe switching up the menu or buffets for lunch and dinner with daily specials. We had to go out on rainy days because everything closed down and after 8 days tired of room service and same food. nnOther then resturants and food....our experience was good...resort nice...best for families with kids "

"Upon arriving at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort-Bonnet Creek.. Check-in was easy and all information was as per our requests. As stated in other reviews nice to have two queen beds and then a separate area with a t.v and bunk beds for the kids.we only ate once at the resort at the poolside bar. ( nacho's and drinks ) the price was reasonable. hotel staff was friendly. and quick to respond to needs ( safe not unlocking , extra towel's. ect. ) only problem with hotel was a unauthorized charge of $ 1028.10 to my credit card that I had left for resort / parking fee's. After, speaking to the wyndham guest relations manager, the hotel stated the mistake was their error ( but, no reason for the charge was ever given) and I was re-credited within the hour. with no problems and/or questions. Nice that you can choose from the property's 7 pools and spa's.I would stay here again and highly recommend if your looking for a place to stay near disney and/or universal themed area's..my travel was from may 26th 2012 thru june 2nd 2012.

"the wife and I, and our two boys stayed seven days and six nights and had an excellent time. The Resort was in an excellent location based on the five day hopper Disney pass we've purschased, is was very well kept, the staff was very friendly. The food was very good but pricey. The only complaint I have is the 16.00 a day hotel fees and 13.00 a day to park your own car at resort. Overall the resort was awesome. I would recommend a stay here to anyone visiting Orlando. "My family just stayed here and had a great time. Resort was very clean and staff was very friendly. The food was very good but pricey. The only complaint I have is the 50.00 a day hold that was put on my debit card. We were told it was 50.00, not 50.00 a day, so our debit card was hit for 350.00. They charge 16.00 a day fees and 13.00 a day to park your car at resort. Overall the resort was awesome and had a lot for us to do. I would recommend a stay here . We will definitely stay again."

"We got a great rate and the room was very nice. Had 2 queen beds with bunk beds and 2 TV's. So my 2 teenage boys had there own 'man cave' with the bunkbed/TV nook. The staff had a lot to be desired. Some were friendly. Most were not. We went to the pirate themed pool with my grandson and were told he was too short to use the water slide and would not allow him to go with an adult even though he swims well. The slide does not go into the pool, it goes into a little area of water at the bottom-strange. We were also told by some of the staff that we were to stay at the hotel pool and could not use the other property pools although we were told differently by other staff members. Please know that the resort fees are large. Our bill for resort fees for 5 nights was 160 dollars. 12/night for parking plus 16/night resort fees plus tax and be sure to look at your bill. They charged us for parking twice on one night. Bus transportation could be much better. Needs to be more frequent. Bus transportation to the parks is included in resort fee but found that hotel guests at the Hilton next door would come over and use our buses as well without paying our resort fee. We go to Orlando each year. Probably will not stay here again. Much friendlier hotels in Downtown Disney area with less resort fees, great pools, and much better transportation."

"Even tho very nice and clean hotel check in staff was very nice but every other staff member was not especially the workers at the coffe shop in the main lobby, and all the pools and hot tubs close really early if there is no life gaurds on duty than why cant we go to the hot tub when ever we feel like if we do so at our own risk, but the room was very nice took my brother a few hours past the four o'clock check in to get his room and they did not even comp him for having to wait that long and also be careful of the tickets being sold in the lobby for the attractions they raise the price to get you a discount if you go look at the time share and after all is said and done its still cheaper to go to the attractions and pay at the gate"

"This was our family's first trip to Disney including plane ride. We got to hotel late evening and the minmal contact with hotel staff was satisfactory. Room was large enough for 5 using the bunk bed. Our room was clean but for some reason the bunk bed bedding was never cleaned up as was the 2 queen beds the 8 nights we stayed there?? We also had to ask for toilet paper? For 2 days when we returned to our room, there was not an extra roll of toilet paper in the bathhroom. I would think this is standard for all hotels that when the room is readied for the day an extra roll is placed in the bathroom? The shuttle service for the most part was fine. There was one evening we waited at the Disney transportation center to return to the hotel for over an hr past the scheduled pick up time. We called the hotel and the staff person who answered was less than professional. She informed us that the shuttle service was a contracted company and not a service provided by the hotel. There was no shuttle service back to the hotel that night and this was confimed the next day. But the hotel staff person ending statment to us was ' well I'm not going to send a shuttle just to pick you up.' Needless to say we took the Waldorf Astoria bus that was across the street to get back the hotel. I was told that the hotel manager would like to speak to us when we returned but to date we have never heard a word from the hotel manager re this situation. All in all it was an ok hotel experience but would have to think hard about returning to this hotel. Certainly not the Disney experience that we witnessed in the rest of parks."

"Overall, the resort was beautiful, clean, and very high quality. I rated the resort a 4 vs. a 5 due to a couple of reasons. When trying to find out ahead of time what the Disney shuttle times were, the rep repeatedly told us she didn't want to quote exact times since they change. We were trying to get a feel for how often they run, but she wouldn't budge. When we arrived, the shuttle info was handed to us in print. However, they run between 1-2hrs roughly, with some exceptions. But, it also states that the shuttles are first come first serve. And, we are one of those families who leave last from the park, so we wanted to make sure we could get back. In order to make the last shuttle, we would have to leave the park before it closed and we weren't sure how many people may be ahead of us, so we didn't chance it. We drove our own car and paid the parking each day. If the shuttle had been more 'Disney friendly', we would have saved the $14 daily on Disney parking. We usually stay somewhere that has several shuttle times to get to the park and back without feeling like we would be stranded if we missed a bus. The pool/slide was awesome, although the slide closed at 6pm (a little early for us, personally). We do everything a little later it seems than the norm. We knew upfront about the parking fees and resort fees that would be added, so that was ok. We stayed in a room w/bunk bed/2 Q beds. We had plenty of room. We were glad to have the sink in the foyer area as well as in the bath. And, the tv for the kids bunk area was awesome. So, we could each watch our own thing. You may want to ask for addt'l blankets if you have someone who gets cold easily. The blankets for the bunks (and the bunks, themselves) aren't the most comfy/warm. Again, the grounds were beautiful. Oh, another Disney-related comment is the concierge did not have Disney brochures. I was expecting to be able to go to the concierge and find out all about the Disney parks. She only had one small brochure that explains all the Disney parks (a little disappointing) combined. I was hoping to get an Epcot, Animal Kingdom, MK, etc. from the hotel desk. But, no individual brochures. I felt the concierge desk could have been a little more forthcoming with info in the area. They advertised themselves as being on Disney property, but also no Magic Hours for guests, btw. But, if taking the Disney aspect out of the trip, the hotel was great! "

"Overall the place was great except the kitchen staff decided to make peanut butter pancakes for the buffet breakfast and label them 'buttermilk' pancakes. My 5 year old, who is allergic to peanuts ate a few and within 45 minutes, we had Orange County paramedics on the property giving my boy an IV and respiratory assistance poolside. Other than that, the service and the food were great!"

"The resort was inviting and relaxing. We enjoyed the different pools and the 'room with a view.' The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our only complaint is the extra charges; $16.00/day resort charge, $12.00/day parking, $12.00/hr kids club, .25 ping pong ball rentals etc. This is typical for resorts, but none-the-less, annoying. Despite the charges, we would definitely return, especially given the current Florida resident rate."

"Overall a beautiful resort. I would give it 5 stars. I was told the resort had only been open 3 weeks. Keeping that in mind I understand why the staff we were in contact with may of given us the wrong information. The positives were: The room was large and clean. I esp liked the bunkbed option for the kids. The food was excellent as well. We ate the breakfast buffet, which was reasonably priced for the kids and had room service one night which was excellent. The only thing I can complain about....which would have put my experience over the top but in the end took away from the stay was when we were given an upgrade to the bunkbed room which we were extemely excieted about. We would not have purchased it in advance for budget reasons. Then come to find out the upgrade was only for one night not the entire stay. Also we were doubble charged for parking, but the hotel took care of the parking issue downstairs at checkout. Always check you bill. Overall a great time! I would stay there again."
