"We got a great rate and the room was very nice. Had 2 queen beds with bunk beds and 2 TV's. So my 2 teenage boys had there own 'man cave' with the bunkbed/TV nook. The staff had a lot to be desired. Some were friendly. Most were not. We went to the pirate themed pool with my grandson and were told he was too short to use the water slide and would not allow him to go with an adult even though he swims well. The slide does not go into the pool, it goes into a little area of water at the bottom-strange. We were also told by some of the staff that we were to stay at the hotel pool and could not use the other property pools although we were told differently by other staff members. Please know that the resort fees are large. Our bill for resort fees for 5 nights was 160 dollars. 12/night for parking plus 16/night resort fees plus tax and be sure to look at your bill. They charged us for parking twice on one night. Bus transportation could be much better. Needs to be more frequent. Bus transportation to the parks is included in resort fee but found that hotel guests at the Hilton next door would come over and use our buses as well without paying our resort fee. We go to Orlando each year. Probably will not stay here again. Much friendlier hotels in Downtown Disney area with less resort fees, great pools, and much better transportation."

"Overall the place was great except the kitchen staff decided to make peanut butter pancakes for the buffet breakfast and label them 'buttermilk' pancakes. My 5 year old, who is allergic to peanuts ate a few and within 45 minutes, we had Orange County paramedics on the property giving my boy an IV and respiratory assistance poolside. Other than that, the service and the food were great!"

"The resort was inviting and relaxing. We enjoyed the different pools and the 'room with a view.' The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our only complaint is the extra charges; $16.00/day resort charge, $12.00/day parking, $12.00/hr kids club, .25 ping pong ball rentals etc. This is typical for resorts, but none-the-less, annoying. Despite the charges, we would definitely return, especially given the current Florida resident rate."

Location is great and it's only a short drive to see the oceans, Atlantic/Gulf of Mex specially on full moon night. Hotel has everything u could need. We will go there again."

"Overall a beautiful resort. I would give it 5 stars. I was told the resort had only been open 3 weeks. Keeping that in mind I understand why the staff we were in contact with may of given us the wrong information. The positives were: The room was large and clean. I esp liked the bunkbed option for the kids. The food was excellent as well. We ate the breakfast buffet, which was reasonably priced for the kids and had room service one night which was excellent. The only thing I can complain about....which would have put my experience over the top but in the end took away from the stay was when we were given an upgrade to the bunkbed room which we were extemely excieted about. We would not have purchased it in advance for budget reasons. Then come to find out the upgrade was only for one night not the entire stay. Also we were doubble charged for parking, but the hotel took care of the parking issue downstairs at checkout. Always check you bill. Overall a great time! I would stay there again."

"The hotel is brand new so everything is still sparkling. It is a non-smoking hotel so everything still smells great also. The room was not extremely large but sufficient. Most importantly to me, the beds were comfortable. The pool areas are nice and my grandchildren loved the slide. If there is a downside at all, it is only that the taxes, resort fees, and parking fees added another $115.00 to a $350.00 total rate from Bookit. All told, the taxes and assorted fees account for a 55% increase to the $97/night rate. I am sure this issue arises at many of the resorts so I state it for informational purposes only. It seems excessive to me but may not phase other guests.

The only other item to mention is that the shuttle service to the parks is quite limited and unless you are staying at one parks for most of the day, it is best to drive your own vehicle.

All in all, the hotel is in a great location and is above average in quality and cleanliness. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would recommend the hotel to others while reiterating that it is a 'resort' and therefore eating and drinking on-site is quite expensive. It's best to do those activities at area establishments.
