Aloha! The Pacific Resort Hotel is one of my favorite places to stay in the land of hotels in Orlando, Florida. Not only is this a great conference venue (thank you CNP Expo!) but it's also great for families visiting Universal Studios. Your room key acts as your fast pass to all the attractions and it gets you into Islands of Adventure an hour before the park opens to the public. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the guest experience is definitely 5 stars!

Stayed one night to visit the two theme parks, Island of Adventure and Universal Studios. The family group, 6 adults and 3 children had three adjacent rooms tower 1. Great check in at 7am, the clerk, I forget her name, was super efficient processing the party so we could get our room keys to access the Express Pass machines in the lobby. Luggage Services took care of our bags while we headed off to the parks for the day. The water taxi to City walk was the perfect way to return to the hotel aft... Read more

On our first visit we just slept here. Now with just the two of us and no kids we chose this hotel for the quiet beauty and ease of access to the parks. From the hotel its a short relaxing walk to both parks, or ride a free water taxie or shuttle bus to City walk. Looking to relax and enjoy new delights we planned ahead for the Wantilan Luau with its South Pacific food and music, Hula and fire dancers. We also found real sandy beach vollyball and a torch lighting ceremony with a fire dancer. ... Read more

The most beautiful exotic design and architecture, recalling the elegance of "the golden age of Travel" and a most enjoyable replica of life in the palace of a kahuna on a Pacific island. We booked a 2 week Holiday in Orlando @ another apartment but decided to book 2 nights @ this hotel for our visits to Universal. First the good bits, the free 'fast pass tickets' are fantastic. You use your room key to print them off in the hotel reception & when you are in 'Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure' you show them @ the entrance to each ride & go to the front of the queue with only a maximum 5 min wait. This was my first trip to Universal. When I looked at photos of this hotel online, I thought the royal Pacific theme looked a little cheesy. In person, the hotel looks beautiful and the theme is done well. Staff at check in and the information desk were very helpful. There was a lot of information for us newbies to take in. I loved the orange hibiscus looking flower design on the floor carpets throughout the hotel. Our room was very clean, and we loved the toiletries in the room. When we called ... Read more

The resort is beautiful and this review is unnecessary to report this. Rooms are spacious, and nicely furnitured. Outside space is pleasant and guests have everything they can possibly fathom to enjoy some time off. Universal studios parks are 15 mins away either in foot or by water taxi. Breakfast is not included and the buffet can be expensive (over 20 usd for adults and 13 for the kids) but there is also a nice cafe on the premises with average prices and a good selection. The moment we arrived at the hotel, staff went out of their way to get us everything we needed for our stay. The staff at the airport had all our tickets ready for us, we had a shuttle waiting for us, and we arrived at the hotel ready and relaxed. The concierge staff was exceptional, very helpful and patient. The restaurants in the hotel are expensive, but the service we received was impressive! The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Thanks so much!

Two weeks staying here whilst we did the Disney/Universal theme parks to death. Great hotel, although getting charged $20 a day plus tax for parking my car there was a bit steep considering how much you are already paying just to stay there! Spacious room, but curious sliding door to separate the sink from the toilet and shower, which doesn't close shut leaving a half inch gap. Also it's frosted glass, so no great when you are on the 'throne'! Also it came off the end runner three times whilst... Read more

We were happy staying here for 3 nights while visiting the Universal parks. The room rates are about double what you'd pay for a comparable room a few miles away, but the unlimited express pass, early park entrance, and 10 minute walk to the parks makes it worthwhile. All staff we me met were knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. The only thing we didn't like was the renovated bathroom doors. There is no bathroom door for the toilet, it is a frosted glass slider. Really pretty, clean, fancy hotel. Was very impressed. Yes, you could stay at a cheaper hotel on International Drive (and I have in the past), but if you're going to Universal Studios, it's worth staying here for the free Express Passes alone. We have stayed here many times before and have always been well pleased with hotel and staff. The facilities are great. For the most part staff was friendly but when it came to problems management was not responsive. Spent two nights for a quick trip to Universal Studios. Very clean, courtesy staff, great pool and onsite restaurants. Best way to enjoy Universal in the summer. Quick boat ride back and forth from the hotel. Nice getaway in the middle of the day from the July heat. The morning lili-pad flowers in the "moat" are a must see. Eat at Jake's outside at night by the waterfall. Truly an upscale environment. The rooms are small but well appointed.

We stayed here for one night so that we could get the Universal privileges. The pool area was nice enough and the rooms were fine. Lobby is pretty great- really makes you feel like you are in the South Pacific (not that I would know). Towards the end of our trip, though, we stayed at the Hard Rock which was exponentially better than the Royal Pacific for our 2 kids. The hotel was very pretty, clean and nice. They let us check in at 10 am and called our room to make sure we liked it. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the pool. It looks beautiful but it is only about 4 ft deep, no slides or sand or anything extra like a lazy river. They do have a hot tub. It appears to be a pool more for adults to just relax after the parks. You get front of the line access for the day you check in and the day you leave, so we only stayed one day.
