"I had a blast! I liked how close my hotel was to everything, and loved the pool! There was one thing: I put my do not disturb sign on the door because I wanted to sleep a little late and they knocked on my door and called my room. I know they were trying to do a good job but for future some people sleep during the day and its hard for them to get up.. Thats why I put the do not disturb sign on the door."

"When we first arrived, we were early so we could not check in until 3pm. Then when we got to our room, two lights were out, but that didn't bother us. The room was clean otherwise...that was until the morning we left to which I found a cockroach in the bathroom and could not wait to leave. The continental breakfast was okay, and the pool was nice to cool off in. I was disappointed in the fact that they did not offer any other shuttles to different parks aside from Universal Studios."

"we booked this through a package. we were not allowed to check in early, even though we were told our room was ready. we spent the next 3 hrs after a flight from michigan waiting until 3pm. our room was average with 2 double beds. there were holes in the wall and paint peeling around the bathroom door frame. the grout in the bathroom was also disgusting. we had loud neighbors and when we called the desk and were told they would take care of it. now this was not 11pm or midnight. this was 1:30-3am amost every night. keep in mind we stayed 7 nights. there is no way my family will return to this hotel. im sorry to say my family and friends will only hear negative things."

"I would not recommend this hotel. The front desk people were not friendly. I was there for 8 nights. When I got there they did not have the room I booked way in advanced. I didn't know till I went in the room. They said they over-booked. I did not get any compensation, apology or anything. The first night I woke up to roaches in the bathroom so I slept with the lights on. I found a tick or bed bug in my bag when I was packing to leave. You pay an extra $3.99 a day for breakfast and wi-fi which I did not use. The breakfast was not much and they were cleaning it up before people left at 9:00 a.m. They took a copy of my credit card and charge that fee before you leave. I did not like having to leave a copy before I even got my room. The TV is way up on a closet so you have to raise your arm way in the air to get it to work and alot of the time the channels were fuzy and would not come in. Just not a good experience there. They said they would give back the $3.99 for the first night but they did not and said I would have to talk to somebody on Monday. I was leaving that day Sat. Again no apology, they just went on about there business and ignored me. The cleaning lady was pleasant but did not speak english."

"Everything on the website is complete lies. We arrived starving and asked what was good in walking distance. The desk man immediately said that we should take a cab. Instead we decided to see how far it was to walk and managed to find things on our own. Universal Studios is similarly not 'one mile away' as the website claims. It is a 2 mile walk. The shuttle to Universal Studios is extremely sketchy as well. It is an outside company that they use that left a group of eight of us stranded at Universal at 10 PM one night. When we called the hotel, the desk clerk at first told me that it must have been our fault (even though the lot of us had been waiting for 30 minutes) and then eventually (after four more phone calls) they confirmed that the shuttle had gone to a different pick up location. The hotel did pay the $6 cab fare, but not until after we were screamed at by the angry cab driver. And don't expect a true Continental Breakfast. There wasn't even bagels or yogurt. The options were some small cold pastries, instant oatmeal (with no bowls to cook it in) or two types of cereal. The rooms as well do not look like the pictures. There wasn't even a comforter or heavier blanket, just sheets. The wi-fi, while free takes forever to do anything. Similarly, the walls are paper thin and the hotel lets larger groups stay in a room than they should. The room next to us had eight people in it and they were blaring a TV and slamming into the walls all night. I had to call the desk multiple times after one am to get some quiet. I understand the concept of getting what you pay for, but I don't appreciate being lied to on their website and receiving poor service. There are a thousand other options nearby."
