"This hotel is very good. This was a first time vacation with my girlfriend and we loved it. The room became our own little apartment, as if we were living there for months, even years. The free breakfast is amazing, don't be spoiled by the other bad reviews, They serve hot food every morning, including Belgium waffles, french toast, scrambled eggs, sausage, and occasionally bacon. They have plenty of cereal, desserts, and drinks including coffee and orange juice. The staff is very nice and clean, they even held our bags at the desk b/c we had a late flight. The complimentary shuttles are amazing, the only downside is they run only at certain times, usually once in the morning and once in the afternoon. But it still beats paying for parking and gas. The pool and hot tub were open from 9am - 11pm and they were the best. We would come home after a long day of walking and just take a nice dip into the heated pool. The hot tub was very relaxing. Overall this hotel is amazing and we will definitely stay there again. The price was unbelievable. I also would recommend the Disney Hopper Passes and the Orlando Flex Ticket- the hopping from one park to another is an amazing feature."

Pool, hot tub, playground, arcade were fun for the kids. Very close to Disney, SeaWorld, and Gatorland. Made traveling easy. Great deal for the money. Very clean room, quiet, good housekeeping. "We stay someplace new every time and this was our third. Rated second out of the three but not bad at all. Breakfast was great but the after hours drinks suck. They fail to mention the drinks include a choice of beer or.....beer. They are in a pretty nice location but really well hidden. Bring your GPS, a really good map or really good directions. Worst part of the entire trip was the lack of hot water early in the morning. Apparently they shut down the hot water heaters to save electricity at night. I believe they have the 'instant' hot water heaters, but they still require 5-10 minutes run time to heat up the pipes. All in all I would stay again but hopefully not during a band convention (breakfast was a little crowded)."

"Stayed here for a week in January 09, had a great time. The 2 bedroom suite was spacious and clean, with 2 bathrooms and 3 large TVs and kitchenette - all that we needed, traveling with 3 kids. Close to many restaurants, shopping and Disney. Pool and breakfast were great. One drawback was that the wireless connection was often slow. Check-in was quick, staff were polite, but not overly friendly. Would stay here again for sure for the value and amenities. "

"Hotel staff was very nice and friendly. We were offered a free room upgrade when checking in. Rooms were clean and I enjoyed the two flat panel televisions. Breakfast was good, had a pretty good variety to choose from. The free shuttle is nice, but only leaves from the hotel once a day at 9:15 AM and it only departs from universal studios/sea world once per day between 6:30 and 7:00. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay here."

The kitchen, although small, was sufficient and we cooked several nights - the location very convenient to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and the happy hour a pleasant bonus. We had plenty of everything - huge closets to store our purchases and luggage - a safe which was a great peace-of-mind item. Pool and playground great. Shuttles to the parks convenient and free. I would not hesitate to stay here again anytime, it would be a pleasure!"

"I stayed here with my family for 20 nights in April/May 2008. We found the Royale to be a very clean hotel in an excellent location. The staff were friendly and most helpful. Admittedly after 2 weeks the breakfast was a little monotonous, but hey, by this time I needed to loose a few pounds anyway! We had an endless choice of good food for evening meals within easy walking distance. As far as value for money goes, this is the real deal, and I look forward to another stay at the Royale in a year or 2"

"Perfect hotel to meet friends & family to socialize. The kids played in the pool while the adults lounged in the sun. We arrived @ 2:30 and were allowed to check in early. I never waited in line to check in or out. This is a nicely decorated hotel, not a resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom that slept 10. The double beds were not as comfortable as a Comfort Suites, but I chose the Quality Suite for the 'hot buffet breakfast' vice 'contenintal breakfast'. One bonus is a short walk to Old Town and Flippers Pizza. In the end, it's great value hotel."

"There is no better place for the large family on a budget. Two bedrooms, each with two double beds and a sofa bed in living area. Two full bathrooms. Where else can you get this without having to pay for two separate rooms. Breakfast buffet was ok, but seating is a problem after 7 AM."

"I searched for the the best hotel to suit our needs at the best value, and this Hotel is everything they claim. I was looking for one bedroom suite for the 3 of us, my wife and daughter. It was extremely clean, comfortable, great showers, beds are comfortable, the staff will do anything they can to make your stay the best. I asked them in advance if I needed to switch rooms for any reason they said no problem, we did not need to switch, the room was great. We had 2 26 inch flat panel hi def tvs in our suite. We had a king bed in the bedroom and a pull out couch in the living room. Kitchen had micro, stove, fridge, and with dishes and pots etc. The morning breakfast was great, eggs, saugage, danish, toast, the works. The rooms were newly renovated like new. The pool is heated, with 2 hot tubs. I liked the lay out with the pool in the courtyard. It is just a fun Florida Hotel that is a great place to stay for families. This hotel may not be high luxury but is is high quality and if your are going to orlando to have fun, for the money I would recommend this hotel. "
