It was not as large a facility as I anticipated but it was still massive. There were 2 or 3 major conventions happening at the same time as ours and they never missed a beat as far as I could tell. The convention food was average to middling but served efficiently and in sufficient quantities. The restaurant food was better than expected at the Tobias Flat Bread Watering Hole. The braised short ribs were delish and reasonably priced. I had the sandwich instead of the entree (nobody needs to e... Read more

Went down for mothers day weekend, this hotel is so under rated. To me it is one of the best deals in Orlando. The accommodations are a 10 out of 10. The service is superb, the location is great to all attractions. Unfortunately the golf course is being redesigned and will not reopen until October. WI'll return many times this summer.

My wife and I came to town for a weekend getaway and Megacon. All hotels right by the convention center were sold out but we were very pleased with this hotel. It was very busy most times but check in and valet were always fast. I would like another option for parking that did we did not have to pay for though; $16 per day for self parking or $21 a day for valet.

I stayed at this hotel 5/24/16 to 5/29/16 to attend the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) annual meeting. The place was excellent. It has a state of the art fitness fitness center, two large outdoor lounge pools, an outdoor lap pool, an outdoor kiddie pool, and two outdoor hot tubs. The pool area was open til midnight, greatly appreciated after a long day of meetings. The hotel is directly connected to the convention center, which is VERY convenient. The on-site buffet res... We were in Orlando for a Lacrosse tournament and only spent one night at this resort, but it impressed us enough to want to return for a longer stay. As Florida residents, we have spent a lot of time in Orlando for various recreation and athletic events and the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort is by far the nicest facility we have experienced. During our short stay I enjoyed the fact that we did not have to leave the property to eat, as there are many different dining choices that cater to a wide vari... Read more

Stayed for two weeks and visited the parks. This was our second time here and we really enjoyed our stay. Staff are quite helpful & polite. I wouldn't say they go out of their way for you. Amenities fantastic, plenty of restaurants. A couple of downfalls- we requested a pool view room & did not get it, quite disappointed. Parking was terrible when conferences were on. It really should be managed better- no need for cars to be allowed to block others in! There is plenty of space! The sheets on ... Read more

We had a huge company event that went very well. The hotel is well organized; they managed to feed more than thousand people with hot food in a short time. The hotel rooms are classic, but well functioning. Bathroom is ok, no complaints. No slippers in room. Wifi ok, sign-in every day needed. We had wifi included in rate. We came here out of season as my other half had been here before with work. As such the standard of service is impeccable as they deal with a lot of business travellers, due to their conference facilities. It's brilliantly located for the Parks, especially Orlando and they do put on free transport to these. They have great food facilities and the Steak restaurant is lovely if a bit on the pricey side; however you do get more than you pay for and the staff are wonderful. With 3 pools and 2 wh... It is a large place with three pools and several restaurants, as well as a few shops. I found the grounds and the hotel to be absolutely lovely. My two teenage daughters and myself stayed at this beautiful resort for 9 nights in June and loved it! This was our second time to stay at the hotel, having stayed there last June too. The upmarket, laid back atmosphere makes it a great place to return to after a busy day out and about. This was our 12th trip to Orlando and we have stayed in numerous hotels over the years, but we hope to make The Rosen Shingle Creek our home from home from now on.

Decided to stay here for this business trip to check the place out, and glad I did. This resort is huge. Practically everything is here, and no need to leave. Ten restaurants, three pools, a spa, tennis court, golf, wonderful staff, and free wifi. The only thing I wish there were more t.v. stations...especially the travel channel. Regardless of that, this will be my first choice for accommodations in Orlando from now on.

I would just check what conventions are going on while you are there - it tends to get busy in the lobby's and parking when conventions are in town. They have plenty of places to eat on site - including 24-hour 18 Monroe Street. I like the idea of a family pool, since most of the time we are travelling with our kids, however, we did stay there as a couple and it was nice to be alone in the "quiet" pool with just adults.

When we arrived early, our room wasn't ready yet so they offered us a suite instead of the King bed room that we had booked. It was an amazing room with tons of space but it only had a Queen size murphy bed that wasn't very comfortable. It was our fault for seeing the grand room and keeping it, we should have gone for comfort instead of the expansive room. We stayed 4 nights and I came home with a very sore back. Don't get me wrong, the resort is wonderful and the staff is great but make sur... Read more

I stayed here for a conference, and brought my four-year old with me (her first time to go with me on a business trip). We arrived before my conference started and spent a day at Disney. Disney is very convenient to get to from the hotel - takes about 15-20 minutes to drive (on a Sunday). The hotel is a golf resort, and it's massive. I don't usually stay at places like this, but it was the site of my conference. And it turned out to be great for having a kid in tow. They have several pools, and... Read more

We used this hotel as a base for a large convention in the Orlando Center. It is approximately 5 minutes away and a cab ride will cost 9.00 with tip or a limo service from hotel at 10.00 with tip. The hotel itself is well appointed, very clean and a gem. The 3 pools are all kept up constantly by staff. The bar at night is staffed by helpful bartenders. A hint, if you want a little quiet see Leo in the bar right off lobby. Food choices are good, this is a resort, without resort over pricing. An e... Read more

We stayed here for a week in August as a family of five. We were late arriving so I called the hotel to let them know, and the lady I spoke to offered me a choice of rooms. I left it to her to choose, and she did not disappoint. Couldn't fault this hotel, it has everything you need and probably more. The pools are great, we ate in a couple of the restaurants which were very good and not overpriced, and sampled most of the bars. It has its own supermarket which also sells hot food, sandwiches and... Read more

We stayed here for 2 weeks in may and we couldn't fault it! My partner had emailed Troy before we came, and said we were celebrating our engagement. We were very Kindly upgraded to a petite suite with stunning views at sunrise, so much space, and there was a lovely welcome suprise waiting for us. We can't thank you enough. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is fab, not too far from the parks, but still within a short distance from everything. We fell in love with the hotel ... Read more

Stayed here for 2 weeks during September, the hotel is great, the staff were friendly, the location is perfect for Disney and Universal. This hotel made our holiday perfect. The only disappointment I had was we were given a petite suite but after coming in from the room, noticed the inter-connecting door on our side was open, luckily nothing had been taken, but a swift run down to reception and a new room was provided, they even offered to help move our bags. Parking is normally $16 a day but as... Read more

I didn't stay or see the rooms because I was only visiting the hotel for business meetings. From what I did experience, it was absolutely beautiful. This place is huge! Has restaurants and shops. The staff fed us with nicely cooked food. I enjoyed my time and would love to have the chance to stay.
