They are really effective team-players and protect the image of the hotel by going the extra mile to provide customer satisfaction (my wife was very impressed when they did their biggest effort to get her a cup of hot chocolate that for some reason was not available at the time)/. also would like take this opportunity to suggest a little bit of re-training to the 18 Monroe Street Market supervisor who apparently was not very happy working the night of 01/02/2012 (we were there for a snack at 19:52)/ we were very much surprised watching her throwing things and slamming chairs/I tried to cheer her up however it was a little hard for me even to get her name since she was not wearing her name badge/.I guess a little bit of re-training it's all it takes/.even with that little negative impression we would give the highest rating to the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel facility/

"We stayed at Rosen Shingle Creek for the first time last week. The resort was absolutely Beautiful! There are some things I would like to see change though before returning. When you go on vacation you expect things to be costly. When you stay at such a high end resort you certainly shouldn't have to pay to park there. I have never had to pay to park at a resort before and this adds substantially to the cost of your stay. When I booked the trip it was $12 a day for self-parking. When I got there it was $16 a day and $20 plus for valet. The parking is quite a distance from the hotel entrance. This is more than it costs to park at the theme parks and where are you supposed to put your car? I was very put off by this. As we were checking into our room there was a repair man in there. I was apprehensive to stay in the room but I was told he was just checking the fridge because the top was VERY hot and it is encased in a wood cabinet. It was indeed VERY hot. The man was very nice and we were heading out for a few hours and he said he was swapping out the fridge then. We returned 4 hours later and the hot fridge was still there and I had to call again. The first day of housekeeping they came in and left towels on the toilet :( and made one bed. Nothing else was done. Someone must have gotten a phone call and forgot where they left off. I loved this resort. The location was great and the grounds were beautiful. If you don't mind VERY expensive drinks and parking and can overlook the housekeeping and maintenance then GO! It was CLEAN and BEAUTIFUL! If they sent me a discount and a voucher for free parking I would go back for sure!"

"My parents and I stayed at Rosen Shingle Creek during the week of Christmas. I can only describe our initial reaction as shock. The hotel is huge with several pools. The rooms are nicely sized with double sinks separated from the shower area. The only negative thing was that you had to pay $10 to use the gym; however, that seems a very normal charge at hotels like this. But for future guests, know that you get charged $10 every time you use your room key to the gym. In addition, parking was $16 per night but I suspect that is because the hotel also has a conference center. We were told all 1500 rooms were sold out but we never heard other guests through the room and the front staff were very courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and all my parents can talk about is how amazing their stay was. Also should mention that the location is very nice. Only a few miles from the outlet mall on International Drive and Point Orlando but off the beaten path with all the traffic."

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Self parking presented a very long hike every time we left or entered, but was secure and well marked. My only negative was the resturants all closed too early. Something needs to be open after midnight in case you get back from the parks too late."

"We planned on spending New Year's Eve at Epcot. After finding out that ALL the parks were 'packed', we changed our plans. We remembered upon checking in at the hotel, we had been told there would be a new year's eve celebration at one of the hotel bars. We first had a wonderful dinner at the Osceola Cafe including champagne and mimosas. The staff there was EXCELLENT! Afterwards we rang in the new year with hundreds of people, both young and old at Headwater's Lounge. We would recommend this hotel to anyone for pleasure or business. IT HAS IT ALL, and the entire hotel staff is there to meet your needs. The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. For the golfers, it has a spectacular golf course. "Went with another couple to this Hotel that we have stayed at many times(8 ). Had a problem with overbooking at hotel and our friends were sent to Rosen Plaza. After speaking with Bookit and Hotel Management, they were transfered back and Management went out of his way to make this trip memorable. "Okay, you will get a card for discounts on food, and maybe one day you will get the discount on all food purchases. But, then the next day you will not and will be told that the discount only applies to certain food joints in the hotel. Which will leave you confused, especially if the discount was accepted an hour earlier by a different cashier in the same place. Also, this is not like other hotel chains, where wireless is connect and go! Not that easy! You must go thru a registration process that is aggravating, to say the least - and will frustrate even the best of us! The room had a musty smell at first (like wet carpet) and the a/c was not on when we entered it. Therefore, we called maintenance to come and deodorize the room. It was okay after that! That bartender at the pool (where we also ordered food) was given our discount food card, then within minutes gave us a receipt to sign with 'NO DISCOUNT AT ALL' (watch these people, they're slick) I will go again because overall the hotel is nice."

I travel with 2 todlers and this place is very convenient is big, clean, located really close to Disney, deli open until 12am, 24 hour room service...it works for me! staff was great, checkout was at 11:00 am I called at 10:30 askinhg for a late checkout if possible and they extended it until 1:00pm... that made my day since we have 2 little ones and needed to pick up all the toys, get them ready... and that for me is priceless, WAY TO GO!!!!"

"I have stayed in some of the 'Best Hotels' in the world and I can state that the Rosen Shingle Creek belongs in that category.Starting from check in and ending in check out,the staff had one objective and that was to make our party as comfortable as possible.Service,in other words was their primary goal.This service included all the employees we came in contact with.Housekeepers,wait staff at restaurants,room service and especially the dedicated people who staffed the VIP lounge.We were a party of 5 having 2 rooms on the 14th floor.We stayed at the hotel from Dec.19 until Dec.23rd 2011.I will happily recommend the Rosen Shingle Creek to all who ask me.

"I will never stay at this hotel again. The housekeeping staff was the worst. My grandchild was sick during the night so I had to take the sheets off the bed. We left the room at 8:00 the next morning and returned at 3:00 pm the housekeeper had not clean the room. at 3:20 the housekeeper knocks on the door and said she's ready to clean now. I ask her if she could wait 20 minutes because we were getting dress to go to park/dinner, I told her i needed clean sheets she looks at me with the evil eye and replys in a nasty tone that she is ready to clean NOW and why do I need clean sheets. Finally she left and said she would return. We finished getting dress and left the room in about 20 minutes. We returned back to the hotel at 1:00am and the room had not been touched. I called the front desk and they sent one sheet to the room for me to put on the bed. The next morning I get a knock on my door at 8:15 when I answered a housekeeper ask me if I was checking out.I said yes but what time is checkout she replyed I don't know what time are you checking out.I thought I had missed a memo that checkout at that hotel is earlier then 11:00 I called the front desk and they informed me checkout is at 11:00. By 10:30 that morning I recieved

The only issue we had this time was poor service by the housekeeper; she never gave us shampoo or lotion, and one day our comforter dissappeared. But, usually, the service is very good. Overall, it is a beautiful and elegant hotel. Be forwarned that it is more of a business/convention hotel than a family vacation hotel, with the food and amenities quite pricey compared to many of the other Orlando hotels. "I had a wonderful 3 day R&R stay. Beautiful property with well trained, accomodating staff. Nice amentities, very nice spa with a well equipped, state of the art fitness center. I loved the fact that they had a lap pool so that I could swim my laps. Great variety of restaurant choices and although I only ate one meal there (at the pool side restaurant) it was excellent. I also loved that they have a 24 hour HUGE food/sundries store with just about everything anyone could possibly need or want. My only complaints are 1. the self valet parking was a long, long walk and

2. the cheezy coffee maker and coffee in the room. Mine didn't even work so I ended up going down to get my own @the Starbucks and getting it room service, which was about the best coffee I've ever had. Over all an excellent experience. I can't wait to go back!"

"Needing some R&R, my husband and I decided to head toward Orlando. Since I frequently book reservations on-line, I took advantage of a last minute special offered through BookIt.com. This was a delightful surprise...the best kept secret in Orlando or on-line! We stayed at Harris Rosen's Shingle Creek Golf Resort. It is an amazing property with all the amenities anyone could want - 4 restaurants (but only needed one - The Osceola Cafe - absolutely fabulous, and we are hard to please when it comes to eating away from home!), spa, golf course and golf academy, ballrooms, convention center, a convenience store located in the lower lobby (it has anything you need or want, so there's really no need to leave the hotel to go off site for shopping)! The valet parking was a treat for us and the guys were models of efficiency. We had no issues with the room or comfort problems, so all we can offer is this: 'Try it, you'll love it!' My husband wanted to stay longer just to try the Osceola Cafe again! Unfortunately, work and other issues bade us return to the real world, but for two nights, we lived like royalty! We usuallly stay at 4 star establishments, but I can certainly understand why AAA has awarded this property the '4 Diamond' rating. It is nice to know that someone can actually think in terms of what people need and want when they are away from home, and make it happen! Thanks Mr. Harris. We will pass the word along that for comfort and value, Rosen's Shingle Creek will be our home away from home!"

Large complex with many shops and locations to eat or drink. Pool area was kept very nicely. Only downside is i didn’t valet part so the parking lot was a good walk away. Many resorts i have stayed at like this have golf carts giving people a shuttle to the lobby but here they were all grounds crew. I recommend if your older get the valet!!"

My room was on the 11th floor, A King single with a Kings view.

Ony disappointment was the towels and wash clothes were not replaced the following day when the room service cleaned, a bit surprising, Contacting the front desk, they came with new towels

immediately.



I visit Orlando 3 times a year for work and pleasure, I will stay there again this fall. Thank You.

"We stayed here the week of Christmas this year also booked on bookit.com and got a stellar deal. The hotel and staff was fabulous and it's a beautiful hotel.

There was a bit of a problem at checkin so keep your confirmation paperwork but the staff made it right and comped up valet parking to make up for the mix up, which I thought was very nice of them.

The restaurants were a bit expensive, but other than that it was a great place to stay very close to Universal. "

I booked this reservation on BOOKIT.COM and was amazed at the price I paid and the complimentary amenities offered through BOOKIT. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays with an area with a real fireplace and gorgeous Christmas tree for photos. Our children really enjoyed the arcade room as well! There is really not much negative to say, except that the complimentary shuttle to the theme parks was not what we expected, so we wound up driving and paying $15 for parking per day. The rooms were very clean but the bed skirts were dragging on the floor, which looked messy for this type of hotel with such a high rating. I would definitely stay at the Rosen Shingle Creek again and recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Orlando."

"My Mother and I celebrated her 65th birtday with a girls weekend in Orlando. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The staff was exceptional. Highly recommend the Conceirge Service. The parking situation is the only downside to the resort. We were overcharged and then had to walk a great distance to the hotel. Not everyone desires valet service with the only option paid parking. The hotel is in a private location yet close to all resorts. We are looking forward to returning.

Hopefully the parking situation will be addressed to meet the needs of the guests. "

Usually the reception you receive at the front desk will tell you how your stay will be, and this was really so. The front desk staff was really warm and receptive. The staff from room attendants to waiters were great .
