"We have stayed at the Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando twice now, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and secure place to stay. We really like that the hotel has security guards, and gated parking. We also like the staff in the restaurant and the front desk check in. Everyone is friendly. The motel is clean, the beds are comfortable and so are the pillows. The restaurant has a nice breakfast buffet and kids eat free with an adult. The dinner is nice too, kept us from having to venture far after a long day at Sea World. Sea World was great too.
We highly recommend, especially considering the value."

"We were booked for the Rosen Inn Pointe hotel but they could not find our reservation so we were booked at the Plaza a couple of blocks up the road. If I had paid full price for this room I would have been disappointed and really mad. The room was nothing special to constitute 'Plaza' prices. It was very small, but clean and the bed was comfortable but I had better in more economy hotels. It had a large flat screen TV and a refrigerator. The shower was motel grade and the sink outside the bathroom did not drain well at all. We had to use the ironing board for extra space for one of our two suit cases. During the day or evening the air conditioner did not keep the room close to the temperature we set. It was either 5 degrees hotter or colder respectively. The staff was rude and defensive. We were delayed 30 minutes due to a parking charge mix up. Our visitor was not to pay for parking due to our being moved from one hotel to the other. The parking attendants are not part of the hotel and they do not represent the hotel or care to service guests at all. The hotel may want to confront the parking service company regarding re-training their employees about customer service no matter who they work for. The hotel grounds and location was excellent for walking to bars and restaurants and their lobby is spacious and well stocked with food, coffee, a bar and sundries store. The pool area has plenty of seating in the shade and with umbrellas. Over all I was not impressed with the hotel service or room."

"When I arrived at the hotel I was told my reservations had been transferred to an affiliate hotel. I had driven 8 hrs. and was ready to check-in. This was very inconvenient and in my opinion unprofessional. I chose Rosen not only because the price, but it was located in walking distance to the events I had scheduled during my trip. I would have paid extra just for the guaranteed booking. This hotel wasn't as nice plus you had to reserve a pass to use the complimentary shuttle to theme parks which I end up driving and paying a $15 parking fee."

"Was not impressed with stay at Rosen Inn. The room was decent but there were little bugs all over the place and it made our stay uncomfortable.
The good: Great location for restaurants and close to Universal and Wet and Wild. Pool was good but not sure how busy it can get as it is one of 3 pools to accommodate the 1000 guests in the hotel. Help desk for tourist attractions was very helpful and we got a good deal on Wet and Wild tickets.
The Bad: Safe did not work. Ice machine on the second floor did not work. Huge, huge complex. 6 or 8 different buildings I believe. Like it's own resort....very impersonal. On site store was well stocked but very...very expensive. Toilet did not flush well.
The ugly: Little tiny bugs all over the room. Not biters but crazy for sugar. We left all food garbage in the sink-fridge area in the hopes that the bugs stayed away from the beds.
Would not stay again. Would rather pay a little extra and feel more comfortable."

"Very nice place! Fridge and microwave, clean bathrooms, plenty of towels, nice big area to hang clothes, front desk staff awesome, we will return. With the rate we got, I felt this was an above average place. Right on the strip, and they offer shuttle to the parks. Only negative was we could hear the traffic from the highway, but we'll just ask for a room on the inside when we go back. A Rosen Inn!"

"Photos were very misleading; there are three small pools and the photos online make them look much much larger than they really area. Also, the exterior shots of the hotel show the facility to be six stories, which one of the buildings are. Rooms are spread out through multiple buildings. This is not a hotel but a motel, where every room leads right to the parking lot. The outlets in the room didn't work; the bottom of the shower head was only 5' 3' from the floor of the tub (don't know how tall people are supposed to shower). The pillows were hard foam and when I asked if they had any feather or fiberfill, they said no. I had to purchase my own pillow. I wouldn't recommend that you stay here."

"When I arrived at the Rosen Inn Pointe Orlando I was told that I had been 'walked.' I had never heard this term before. It meant my reservation had been moved to another Rosen property. My entire party ahd been moved to the Rosen Plaza approximately 1/2 mile south of the original hotel. The Plaza simply ROCKS! My entire party enjoyed our short stay."

The building is an old one and the signs of previous owner's abandonment is evident, but Rosen Inn Pointe has remodeled its rooms to perfection and the decor attempted to be upscale so overall this hotel is on my fave list. The staff was friendly but the excursion lady was rude meaning no assistance unless youre buying an excusrsion from her alone. This hotel will be my first inquiry every time I visit Orlando."

"Allowed early check-in on very busy Easter weekend which was wonderful. Front desk employees were extremely helpful. I got a great deal for this room and its location. Plenty of restaurants and shopping across the road at Pointe Orlando and 10 miles to Orlando International Airport. Very clean and comfortable room as well as hotel grounds. Sheets were a tad scratchy on my sunburned skin (but then again so were my clothes). I had a pool-front room which was quite noisy into early evening. With room doors open to the exterior, foot-traffic was also very audible. I was here for a quick night so my minor complaints may not pertain to most visitors on vacation (and usually not in their rooms during daylight). Overall would stay here again with no question!"

"Stayed here for a few days in February. Check-in was quick and easy. We arrived early and there was no problem getting our room early. Staff was efficient and pleasant. Our room was fine. Updated in the main area, but the bathroom was older. The room was clean, but definitely had an odour to it. We couldn't decide if it was once a smoking room or just really stale. Great location and an excellent price, so well worth considering."

"My husband and I have passes to Sea World and have been going to Bands, Brew and BBQ each weekend. This past weekend was my birthday and we decided to spend the night in Orlando instead of driving home and back again on Sunday. We just needed a place to sleep, nothing fancy and we were very pleased with Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando. It is a remodeled old motel and was much larger than we expected. You do not need to leave the hotel/motel if you so choose, little store on site, restaurant, bar etc. Room smelled pleasant upon entering, two full beds which was fine, mini fridge and microwave, nice flat screen tv... was perfect. We had our choice of many close by restaurants that we could walk to and chose Miller's Ale House across the street. Was very affordable, clean, quiet.. no mildew in shower, new tile in bathroom area, fresh paint, clean linens, no bed bugs (1st thing that I checked!) for the price you cannot go wrong. I will go back without hesitation."

"Stayed over Presidents Day Weekend Feb 16-19. The lady at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful. There were special requests and any issues were addressed efficiently and promptly. Business Center staff person was also pleasant and helpful . She permitted us to print our boarding passes for our return flights. We requested a roll-away bed Sat night since we invited an extra family child to Universal Islands of Adventure. Reserved and received an accessible room. The property offers bus, truck and car parking! Excellent location to restaurants, Universal Parks, Convention Center and EZ drive to MCO. Plaza Garden breakfast buffet and shuttle service to theme parks were excellent! Their dinner buffet offers seniors a 25% discount .
Maintenance fixed a low water pressure problem/no hot water promptly.
Only disappointments were
1)We arrived one day early on Fri; this property was sold out so we had to stay elsewhere. A nearby lodging cost more,was inferior and did not have the accessible room we had requested..
2) Monday the Plaza Garden dinner buffet featured roast beef and fried chicken. Roast beef was overcooked with a very salty au jus ;chicken was likewise too dry."

"So, for the price point, don't expect much. So, I was pleasantly surprised that the room was adequate. Updated bathroom area and a nice decor. Carpet could have been a bit more neutral. The good: low price, free parking/internet, close to restaurants. The bad: full size beds. I didn't think they made them any more so it was a tight fit for two. The rooms are a bit smaller than most of the hotels in the area. This room reminded me of my senior trip in 84 when we visited Disney. Same layout. The ugly: none.
Quick check-in/out. The breakfast was decent but crowded. Overworked staff so be patient. Buffet doesn't include juice so be prepared to pay an additional $1.50 for a 6 oz plastic cup. Didn't try dinner since so many good restaurants in the area. Recommend for the price. Can't go wrong if you want a decent no frills place to lay your head."

"Loved the hotel location!!! I felt safe in the neighborhood I was in, it was in the middle of everything and close to most. It is a very large facility with a lot to do on the premises. Parking at night can be a challenge, you may have to park quite a ways from your room if you get back late and everyone else is there, BUT it's worth it! "WE HAD A WONDERFUL STAY AT THR ROSEN INN, THE PRICE WAS SO REASONALBE AND THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT. OUR ROOMS WERE NICE AND EASILY ACCSESSIBLE TO THE POOL, RESTAURANT, STORE AND GIFT SHOP. NICE AREA TO WALK A BIT, CATCH THE I-RIDE TROLLEY. IF IN NEED OF A TAXI, THEY ARE AVAILABLE AS YOU STEP OUT ONTO THE CURB, SO CONVENIENT AND SAVES TIME . THE BUFFET BREAKFAST AND DINNER WERE DELICIOUS. HOPE TO STAY LONGER NEXT VISIT."

"As soon as we walked into the room at night and turned the lights on we saw small cockaroaches one on the rug, one crawling on the wall and the table. We were very disgusted and tired. We slept with the lights on that night. so the bugs wouldn't come out. The next morning I told the staff and they switched us to another room on the fifth floor. Their response was 'It is less likely to see bugs on the upper floors'."

"Nice Hotel definately worth the money...never stayed at this property before, but I will again. Good locatiion for shopping and dinning. Also was close to Sea World. Kids enjoyed play area. Rooms were clean and I like the microwave and mini fridge were helpful. Another guest stated on here somewhere that the side facing the highway was noisy...and it was so ask for side facing international if your a lite sleeper."

"Considering how low the price was, I was shocked how nice the place was. While certainly not a 5 star hotel, it seemed to be recently renovated and nicely I might add. The room we stayed in was very clean. I received two free adult breakfast buffets and our kids ate free so that was a great savings. The buffet was very good. We also had the dinner buffet and the food was also pretty good. Kids liked it as well. The only complaint I would have is that there is a major highway next to the hotel so it could be loud at times. But we were so exhausted from visiting Universal, it did not effect our sleep at all. We will definitely stay there again when visiting parks. Can't beat the value."

"Well located near all entertainments of Orlando. Inexpensive rooms have LCD TV, microwave, and small refrigerator. Clean. Restaurant has terrible dinners but quite good breakfasts. En suite Starbucks.
Get room facing East. West rooms face highway and are noisy."

"I have to say, for $60 a night, that was a good price...Rooms were clean, when we needed anything the staff provided the towels, and blankets and got them to our rooms pretty quickly....The area was surrounded with tons of restaurants, now thats what I like...My stay was very pleasent..My daughter loved the pool especially... will reeturn to this hotel in the future!!"

"I highly recommend this hotel- the accomodations exceed my expectations. Complete services conveniently located in the hotel lobby such as a market with a large variety of snacks, salads, beverages and even spirits also sold. Also available in the lobby, a lounge with nightly entertainment and gift shops. The courteous service provided by the staff in all categories was also impressive..
The area itself is near all other shops, popular restaurants, and lounges."

"Stayed here one night. Great location, right across from Pointe Orlando! I love Rosen properties. This is the 3rd Rosen hotel in Orlando that I have stayed in. This hotel is a more affordable one than the posh Shingle Creek or Rosen Centre. The Rosen quality is still here, with nice amenites, like free parking and no resort fee. The furnishings were up to date and the staff is friendly, and helpful. Our room was very clean and smelled great too! The parking lot is gated and we saw hotel security patroling the grounds. This is a great hotel and a good value for the money. We will definately stay here again."

"This was our first trip to Florida and we choose to stay on International Drive, out travel agent recommended this hotel as it had good revues and newly refurbished. It was perfect, friendly greeting on arrival,very helpful when asked and we knew they were there when ever we need them. Our room was keep very clean, cleaned daily and bed linen changed ever other day, fresh towels, coffee every day and toiletries supplied. Only ate there a couple oh times but good value for money and food was ok. would stay here again and defo recommend it ******"
